    Best Gaming Laptops

MSI is great for budget gaming laptops. Not only are there six heat pipes for drawing out heat, you can control the fans AND there's a button for one purpose: To kick the fans into full throttle for instant coolness under heavy gaming.

    Best Gaming Laptops

Ah, my laptop NEVER leaves my house. MSI being mainly for gaming is what's really got me attracted to it. I have my Best Buy cart open in another tab currently. Still trying to decide if I should get it or not.

    Best Gaming Laptops

So, I have been really interested in getting an MSI GL62M 7RD Laptop, but I also am a bit interested in a Dell Inspiron. I'm looking for a laptop that can better handle the games I play, and maybe some more in case I want to play bigger games than Tanki, Minecraft or Unturned. These two laptops on Best Buy are both $799.99. Neither of them are touch screen, they're both 15.6" with solid state drives, however, the MSI has 256 gigs, vs Dell Inspiron's 128 (which is half of MSI's). They both run on the Intel 7th Gen core i5 processor at 2.5GHz and both have 8GB of RAM. That's for specs. As you can see, the specs are pretty much the same, save for the MSI having twice the gigs for the solid state drive. Now, other things I have noticed that are different from these two, is that Dell has better customer support and coverage. MSI has better performance - it's quieter, cooler, and meant for a longer duration for gameplay. Not only that, it can be stuffed with 4x as much RAM as it has, which means, if I wanted to, I could buff it up to 32GB of RAM! Kind of like putting a V12 Lamborghini engine into a Corvette, if that can even be done. The problem I have with gaming on laptops is they get hot. MSI removes that problem with SIX heat pipes to give maximum cooling, preserving the GPU and CPU from too much heat exposure. The Dell has only a single heat pipe. After extensive gaming, it's performance will worsen. I guess the coverage is a good backup for that. However, MSI has it's own coverage, that if within 30 days of purchasing one of their laptops, you gain full accidental coverage, like dropping it, for instance. I'm not going to go much into the design of the laptops because I'm more for the quality than the looks, but the MSI does win the beauty contest, if there were one. Both have their ups and downs, a really close call, but the main factors that make it hard to choose for me is the fact Dell has better customer support, but the MSI has more features, like the insane amount of RAM is gets (plus it has customizable keyboard LED lights o.O) So, it's either better coverage for the same price, or better features and performance for the same price. (So this isn't; "Oh these are the best, gimme a cookie," more or less which is better. Sorry .-.)
  6. You cant have TWO PEOPLE talking in the same paragraph. One person can talk as much as they want in one paragraph but not two.
  7. 3 days premium, Red Suit paint, 125 double armor set. 20,000 crystals from ranking up, 6,400 from weekly chain rewards.

What to buy? Which is better?

I have decided to just scrap my spending limit. I'm going to get Paladin and Touche, with the M2 alt for Smoky, for 50,000 if bought on a half off sale. this will cost me 827,330 crystals, but I'll have a bo combo for xp/bp, Viking M3, which can be equipped with the M3 Railgun as well. I'll have the Badger T-F M3 module and the Griffon T-A M3. Both very good modules. At first I was like, heyyy, why not ghost and Rockshaper? Then I noticed their modules are very similar and costs about 60k more. Then I saw Paladin and Touche and I was like eeyyyyy. I have a little over 700k saved up currently. I'll have MORE than enough by General.
  11. @You.Have.to.die for participating. . . . . . K.
  12. Plus blue is a very strong color. to have a random blue dot will distract a lot of players.
  13. I made as little as 500 experience today doing missions. One earned me about 1500 crystals, the second 760. I still need to do my third one for a bit more than 1100. My chain reward was 6100 and upon opening my 3 containers, I got two of the 3500 crystal packs, making for 7000 more. After doing my last mission I will not even have made 1000 experience and have made 16500 crystals roughly off of missions and chain rewards. The step down from 3x rewards to 2x was a good call or I'd have made more than 20k, which would ruin the economy since players would make enough crystals, buying them would be irrelevant, thus Tanki loses revenue. 16,500 crystals for about 1,000 experience is really good. Pro tip: If you're on the last day of your chain and about to rank up, first rank up, THEN claim mission rewards. You'll then get more rewards from your weekly chain because you'd have ranked up.

Legends - Stop Being Like This

I deal with this a lot in xp/bp. It's the same for me, in most cases I'm better than my Legend teammates, so if they decide to disrespect me I put as little effort into playing without multing.

What to buy? Which is better?

The 700k thing is just a preferred limit. I have 636k saved up as of now. To go until Marshal will earn me like another 400k, so if I have to go over a little bit it won't be much of an issue. Form this perspective it doesn't seem like a bad idea, however, from the perspective I'm paying about 40k more for the improved alt, doesn't seem like the best move. Jack Hammer's module is pretty much the same, just swap out the Thunder prot for Hammer prot. I don't find too much of an issue with Thunders even without protection. their damage falloff is a lot shorter than Smoky's so as long as I can keep my distance I can ignore them. When I am close, I do the obvious - get close and personal so they do self damage. At medium range, it's just a matter of having the proper cover. I will definitely think over your opinion on this, though.

What to buy? Which is better?

Either way I'll eventually end up with the same items. It's just a matter of how much I spend and when I get them. Viking/Smoky is extremely versatile. Short, medium and even long ranges in the event you get a critical shot. I might save myself 25,000 and not get the M1 alt so I can keep my critical shots.

What to buy? Which is better?

So, I have three options here; 1. Paladin kit + M3 Hammer + M3 Railgun + both alts for Smoky + M2 alt for Hammer. Total with sales: 686,795 (Gets me everything for under 700,000) 2. Jack Hammer kit + M3 Smoky + M3 Railgun + M2 Hammer alt. Total with sales: 689,560 (Better protection module, but can only get one alt) 3. Rockshaper kit + M3 Smoky + both Smoky alts. Total with sales: 615,370 (Gets me Railgun right away, cheapest option, but no Hammer) So, I don't plan on spending more than 700,000 for getting these items, because I'd like room for micro upgrading. The kits I can get at Lt General, but will have to wait until Marshal for individual turrets. I'm really tempted to go for option 3 because I get M3 Railgun right away for the lowest price, but I won't be able to buy Hammer. I don't much like option 2. I also like option one because Paladin I hear is pretty op with both alts, plus I get EVERYTHING for under 700,000.
