Rank brackets of 5 will help a lot: less low rank noobs in our teams, and less mults. Clans and friends can play Custom battles, No need for Matchmaking and Overdrives. Matchmaking and Overdrives can be for the Mobile version. Edit: It is a good update overall.

Why not pause Missions for a couple of days, and instead maybe give everyone Pro Pass or Premium. A lot of people are upset because they can't do missions.

I have I think an average connection and i can tell you I had issues when clicking the Play button, sometimes work, sometimes it doesn't. Apart from that, no problems inside battles, I just played in Polygon and Deathtrack.

I played 1 hour after server restart and it worked pretty good, now with more people there are issues. I think it is hard to predict how a system will work with heavy load. It is a good update that just needs some work.

My ideas to help the situation: - Shorten the rank bracket to at least 5 ranks long. - Add more 8v8 maps for less lag, more Rio, everyone loves Rio. Maybe even 4v4 Sandbox. - Remove Finish 1st or make it rarer. - Remove Flag missions. - Remove Crystal mission. - Add Destroy 10 Tanks in TDM mission. - General Chat should only include the people of the same rank bracket you see in battle. There could be another chat for all ranks, but not by default. - There could be a Friends Chat where you see your friends. - Maybe a button to the forum in the communicator panel.

If 10 people in a battle have Finish 1st missions, what do you think will happen? Even if all of them are not losers, only 2 will finish those missions. That is the problem.

Many only join winning teams, with this idea they will join the team with best connection numbers as well.

I had to use Isida and drugs to do a Finish 1st in three attempts. That mission is frustrating, Before i change it it was Crystals in DM, which I don't like, the other mission was exp in DM, i don't like DM, didn't do that mission, and the other was pick up boxes, which is okay.

Low rank noobs keep joining losing battles, thus making things worse for the losing team. You need to make rank brackets shorter, because those same noobs are the ones who will be abandoning the game sooner, followed by frustrated players who play honestly. The only ones who'll remain are those that only join winning battles and have mults.

It will look as if there was only one server, one EU1, but there will still be many servers in the background. It is a good change, but the beginning could be rocky, it will all depend in the system that manages it, the rank bracket ranges, and the filters.

This update leaves room for another needed change, reducing the length of rank brackets. As a mental exercise... - If brackets were 31 ranks long, the list will be for meters, everyone will have the same list. - If brackets were 1 rank long, players of the same rank will have the same list, the list at the minimum will have 4 battles (1 DM, 1 TDM, 1 CTF, 1 CP) When there are few players battles may not be full; when there are a lot of players there will be more than 4 battles. I wanted to say 5 ranks long will be good, but I think 3 will be better. That will reduce a great number of mults, clans and friends joining Standard Battles. For PRO battles, the bracket could be 5 by default.

I'm pretty sure the current filters will stay. But more are needed, this is what I came up with before: Maybe there should be a filter for Standard and PRO Battles too. (that one can be on top)

Flag missions need to be removed for the following reasons: 1. Some, or many, players sabotage flag carriers so they can pick up the flag when you're dead. 2. Will help CTF battles making all players focus on winning, rather than capturing flags for themselves individually. 3. Removing flag missions will reduce a number of CTF battles in favor of more TDM and CP. About other missions : 1. I'm in favor of removing Finish first, but if you don't do that, maybe you can make them rarer, that way druggers don't ruin battles. 2. There could be missions for number of kills in a certain mode, not too many kills to not make players only focus on killing, nor too few for them to leave when completed. Example: 10 kills in TDM 3. Remove crystal missions, it makes people abandon losing team early, and it's not fair for those that stay until the end.

Druggers will love this, just get a Dictator, drug, plant mines, overdrive and wait for noobs joining the battle.

Could shorter rank brackets make battle lists shorter for us? I'm not sure. I would like to see brackets of 5 ranks max.

I meant enemies are the ones doing that. Tanki needs to improve the hitboxes for hulls so it can be more realistic.

Very good stream, even though I didn't watch it live, I watched it afterwards. You should do more of this type of streams. Sharing Youtube links that take you to the answers should be prohibited in the forum for the benefit of live viewers or those that watched the whole stream afterwards.

When you implement the unified battle list (good) and/or Matchmaking (maybe good, maybe not), will you remove Missions like Finish 1st and Crystal Missions? Finish 1st will be very hard, only two in 20 will accomplish it, and Crystal Missions are not fair to the players of the losing team that stayed in the battle until the end. Could you explain the system of rewards that you will be implementing for Standard Battles with Matchmaking, is it the same as the one used during the 48 hour mass testing? (I don't remember it well) Is it similar to Tanki X? (I think I like it) If you play as a close defender or camping defender, which Hull with abilities would you choose between Hunter and Dictator?
