I'm not upset at the players who did it fast, I'm upset about questions like "who created the original creative league topic", who cares about that!? that doesn't test our knowledge of the game, or the questions about a feature of a fun event. Now questions like "the length of Viking", or like the trick question about mines last week, those are good, I think I even used a calculator last week. But "don't participate if you don't like" doesn't have an answer for now...

It's fun for those that did it in a few minutes, not for me, it took me more than 30. I didn't do it when the link was posted, so it was only for a chance to win. I'm not complaining about the time, because if that time is good for you it's okay with me. My complain is that the challenge appeared to be for all players, when it was not, like you yourself said.

The thing is that there is no reason, beneficial to Tanki, for many of those contests. What good is for Tanki that there are many players on the forum and not in the game? Fun and skill based playing contests will still be fun and still prove that you have skills, and will still attract players even if they are not for the whole playing community and have minimal rewards. I have another Warrant Officer account that I'm playing and I can tell that there are fewer and fewer players in the lower ranks; it's hard to find battles. Tanki needs new players more than it needs forum users or contests that only cater to certain groups. What good is crystal rewards for regular players when the contests are made for contest pros. The problem that many don't understand is that when some are earning crystals in battles other are doing it in the forum.

Yep. Contests that are not done for the entire playing community should not have crystal rewards, or have very minimal crystal rewards, they should be for the entertainment of those that like those contests, in other words, for fun. If this contest was somewhere else and the reward was, let's say, Flow paint for a month, I would have not care to participate, but others would have still done it and enjoyed it.

Then they should not post this in the News and Discussion section, and the rewards should not be crystals, but maybe forum stickers, fancy paints or fancy gifts.

With time you'll eventually find the answer, but that particular question is very easy for those that are familiar with that event. Meanwhile regular players who don't participate in fancy events, don't read forum newspapers, who only mostly play are at a disadvantage. Maybe when they talk about community they don't include regular players. What is next, questions about forum games?

Come on! How am I supposed to know the map of the event of the first Saturday of August? This is done only for those that are always doing events, event helpers and their friends. How are does facebook events preventing people abandoning the game? They are a waste of time, just like this contest, except for those that are in the inner circles.

The system could be recording lets say the last 3 minutes of every battle, and when people click the report button the system will save that recording for analysis, otherwise newer recording will be erasing older recordings. The original idea talks about recordings that are accessible to players, I think that will be too much for many reason, including opponents reading your team chat.

So, do you want to see through walls in Sandbox from time to time while Dictators have All Supplies Overdrive ready to use and share when needed? Are you serious?

I suggest a History section in the main profile that will show your previous nicknames, ban history, when you started the account and things like that. There could be an option in the game settings to make History private for a simpler version without showing nicknames and details or no history at all. But those who don't know their History are condemned to repeat it.

We need an We need the option to be able to do it with crystals, because most of the time we start an account without giving too much thought into the nickname.

Another crystal option could be 100k for 1st change, 200k for 2nd and 300k for 3rd and all changes after that.

Please implement the Overdrives so my accounts can become useless and I hopefully stop playing the game.

I think 250k for Legends is good because I assume that many Legends who already have M4s are changing nicknames more often, where lower ranks are thinking more in equipments and upgrades, unless they have a horrible name. And longer times will also help in reducing the number of changes for crystals, which is good for Tanki in a business sense.

Good point. There should be that option for non buyers, at least once after you open your account and then once for a few years after a nickname change, for 250k for Legends and 100k for the rest. And we should be able to use the nickname of an alt account to change it to our main accounts.

I have two main accounts and participated with one, then I wanted to see the questions again using the other account without clicking submit, but when I clicked on the link the page that came up said that I have already participated. That means that people who share a computer will be prevented from participating after one participation. The question is how did you know that I already participated? Cookies? Then how people who share a computer can participate? (Which means "how can many others cheat")

That's against the rules, if they detect that you're using multiple accounts they may prevent you from participating, unless you know how they know that, something that helpers and I bet some others know. Some have the longer end of the stick it appears, and we the short one.
