Barely been on at all.. 11k this week - two days missions just to top-up my crystals to 100K for the 50% discount. Pretty much out the door - not doing the Challenge, Premium expired not buying any more, no more buying supplies; once the 800 RKs are gone that will be it anyway. But Gausses were fun. They're weren't "up" on the me vs them in the DMs I had.... I killed them more than they killed me. I think it unsettles them to make a kill, and they look for the next kill only to find their last kill (me) then follows them around the map, killing them wherever they show up lol sort of a 1v1..... and Gauss isn't good for that. Stupidest sight today was me with Twins, which feels like it's been nerfed. Maybe it's me, lots of hits but not many kills. Gave up and went over to Isida instead.

I must be one of the few that doesn't bother with Grizzly. Thunders usually take a few shots to kill, and the first one is time to move while you figure out where it's coming from. I just use modules for the ones that can one-shot you, Railgun, Hammer and the one exception is Rico because that's a real pain in the butt atm.

And Magnums. Deadly up there, just can't get near them to take them out.

Just had a 700-points DM mission and had a few battles with Gausses sniping from a distance. Thing is, you snipe me once from a hidden corner and I -will- spend the rest of the battle hunting you down and killing you. Rinse and repeat. Not sure, on the basis of me vs Gauss players in those DMs, whether they (Gauss) are particularly up at the mo. :P

Exactly! 1.6-2.0 seconds a shot, that's about ten seconds! Gauss is obvs not quite the great Wonder Weapon it appears.

I was actually referring to M4 Mammoth (4,000) with DA = 8,000 which is mostly the type of Mammoth I encounter. It's probably nearer five shots, but I generously rounded up Gauss's shots to 2,000 each one. Stick, or twist? :lol:

I'm glad it's not just me. Usually I go looking for the % icon but couldn't find it on anything. Also, usually Tanki list what sale is on what item for each day. I note they haven't done that this time - they just said sales on x, y and z from 2nd to 9th without saying what's happening when.

Obvs your version is a lot cleaner than mine was. :lol: It's a Vorhees Delta, only one made but looks REALLY weird if you're underneath seeing it go over. Altho it's got a propeller, it's very quiet silent and you don't see that tail. Just a rather slow UFO. I didn't know who to call, the police, the government, who? Apparently Duxford (nearest non-airline airport) (where it's based) get a flurry of What-the-F-Was-That? phone calls every time it goes up.

Well spotted. I only noticed the Additional Power figure, but you're right - everything on that line is suspect: Step Cost, Delay Time and Speedup Cost.

Not taking part in this Challenge. The rewards are crap - many we've already had in previous Challenges. Too many empty tiers.

Is there any Thunder alt that fires faster than Sledgehammer? I have M4 20/20 Thunder with Sledehammer on Viking, but I've been up against Hornet Thunders who seem to be able to fire their Thunders faster than mine. I don't understand it, I thought Sledgehammers had the fastest reload of the Thunder alts?

Hmm, players get nothing for 13 silver tiers. In previous Challenges we've already had Hammer Aqua shot effect, Dark Moon Twins shot effect, Zigzag paint and Lava Lamp paint. It's looking a bit crap.

That was my thought too. Last night I had a REALLY enjoyable series of Chernobyl DMs on Pro .... uncrowded battles, plenty of supply drops to go around, not being spawn-killed every ten seconds. If I stick around, MM won't be it. Pro is the way forward for me.

Yep, it's now Ambush-world. The map is great in Pro DM if only a few players. Crowded MM would be horrible. Both that and Stadium I would n-e-v-e-r set foot in on MM. And thanks for giving away prizes we fought hard for. Tanki did the same with XT and now Prime before the paint's even dried. Thank Christ today's my last day of this crap. I'm getting too old to want to go into maps that are too small and crowded so you can barely move without getting slotted. And others that are suicide on a stick.
