Looks like Marvin the Martian out of Bugs Bunny to me.

When ODs first came out in the new format, I was able to kill Titans in their dome easily with the Heavy Plasmagun - but only if I used Viking's OD to do so. Lately I've moved over to using Stabilized Plasma alt and even with Viking's overdrive it's so hit and miss that it's a waste of time and more often than not gets me killed anyway. It's so annoying when you go to attack a Titan and the bloody dome goes up.

It's strange, but sometimes I can kill Titans in their dome, sometimes it doesn't work and I can't. Each time I use the same 20/20 M4. Just can't figure out why it works sometimes, and other times it doesn't.

My favourite tactic with Wasps at the moment is to ram them from the front (they don't expect that) and stop them from moving. I think they wrongly assume I can't shoot them point-blank in case of self-damage.

I don't see how collecting golds - and an awful lot of deaths - is going to get him to Legend. In fact, with just three kills to his name, I don't know how he's even got 80 points. The 3 kills will get him 30-ish, where's the rest come from?

That's just nuts. So he's caught 96 golds, that's still only 96,000. Hell, I've earnt 132K this week but at least my K/D isn't under the carpet like his. I just don't get the attraction of gold boxes when everything else about his account is just dirt. If he survives long enough to reach M3 - with no battle experience - he's going to be easy meat. Can Admins make him M3 asap please? I need some easy meat. :lol:

It has to be. Otherwise no one will buy it when Thunder or Rail can do the same thing faster. You just know it'll be OP so that players buy it, and so others buy a Module against it. Either way, better save up those crystals.

I'm a bit disappointed they gave it Hunter's instant-frozen-solid ability. It was bad enough trying to avoid those but now Dictator too? :blink: A bit :blink: at Hornet losing a third of its overdrive time... that was really useful for teamplay.

Depends how you attack them - from the front no chance, esp if they've got Thunder. I've taken to using Twins Stabilised Plasma (the no self-damage one) and I just ram into them from the side and then turn, which spins them round and firing as I turn them. It's so quick even if they try to turn their turret they're toast anyway. As you say, loading DA is pointless but with DD you do have some chance which might work if you've got a no-self-damage turret like Isida, Twins etc.

Quite impressed with the Viking Prime. Adds a revamped look to a tired hull. I like the reflection from the new lights, which shows up best on the black seen here. Will be interesting to see if these are visible on dark maps like the New Year Holiday map, especially as lights were one of the things asked for in a topic.

Yes. Twins' seven second overdrive does not make up for the fact that it's vulnerable while firing. In DM I would say 2 out of 3 overdrives I get killed while using it, meaning you often don't even get the full use. In comparison with Thunder's overdrive, I can kill a hull with 3 shots within 1 second with that, but with Twins it may be 2 or 3 seconds of shots before I kill the target. (Both my Twins and Thunder are 20/20 so they're the only equal turrets I can compare.)

Unless you're using it in DM, in most of the other maps there's often not more than one enemy within range. So you kill one player with your overdrive and there's nothing left to kill. Like Propaganda says below on another turret, you kill one player within 1sec and the other 6sec of overdrive is wasted. One thing I have noticed on DM particularly, once enemies see Twins overdrive, they scatter. Which again means there's nothing to fire at.

Twins overdrive really isn't that great at times, depending on which alteration you're using Twins with. Plasma Accelerator is a bit like Ricochet on Overdrive, nice and precise but so slow you have time to do a crossword between shots. Heavy Plasmagun's recoil on Overdrive can (on Viking) fire over your target... who can kill you underneath it. Stabilised Plasma is a nice combination with Overdrive. It's too short, imo, and would be nice if its 7-second overdrive could be used in bursts rather than one continuous 7-second barrage.

It doesn't address his first issue - removal of mouse control (which I also found was borked ever since the March update but tanki said it was to give mobile players more control but that browser users would have some issues. Yes, like getting into a screen with locked mouse control. Not everyone wants - or can use - mouse controls. The link you posted is all about graphics issues, not screwups that Tanki have made. And much of it is out of date - such as instructions to "update Flash Player." I'm on WinXP and Flash Updater no longer works, so that's helpful. <_<

I was / I am. I'm just using up the Premium I'd paid till the end of May for. I was just going to collect the 2,500 crystals it gave me every day but hey ho, I got sucked into the Challenge whirlpool. Wouldn't bother, but it is Viking and Viking's my hull. Once the end of May comes....

No, that doesn't work for me. Once I click to enter a battle, if I go into any other window to type or view etc, when the battle starts my turret is locked out. It's something to do with that Mobile update in March, that screwed it up for some of us browser users - it forces us to use mouse controls. So once I press click to enter a battle, it's sit back and wait.
