The WIKI said that there was a waiting period where kills and objectives didn't count. At the top of the screen it said Preparing for Battle. I questioned that and made a link to that part of the rules. A Mod said that they was so positive that this was going to be implemented at the next update it was put into the WIKI. But for some reason it wasn't implemented and they forgot to take it out of the WIKI.

Is anybody in Tanki privy to a player's real name? When I first registered, I don't remember filling out any forms that contained my real name.

Well, let's see. I have 2 dogs: Lady Fire (answers to Lady) a rescued Greyhound. The other is Tucker a BullBoxer (a designer breed of American Bulldog and Boxer). Well, you wanted to know about my pets and there you have it.

Yeah, one minute battles seems to be happening a lot lately...reduced from 2 minute battles. The problem is that the losing team is losing so badly, players quit, so, MM tries to fill those battles first (contrary to popular belief). When there is half or less on the losing team and the score gap is ridiculous with 1 minute remaining, MM seems to think that if it tries to fill the team, that somehow the losing team will be able to turn the game around and either win or tie the game. When MM was programmed they left out logic. I rage quit a lot, lately, and go to another game that makes more sense.

I've been having problems with Firefox for several months. That was the same time that Flash became a problem with Chrome. On Firefox, I can get into the lobby, garage, Wiki, etc. but when I press a battle button, nothing happens. In fact, when I log in to the lobby, I see the last pro battle map I played before the problem started. I can go from Pro battles to the MM list, but that's all. When I log out then back in again, I'm back at the same pro battle map.

Since battle chat is so difficult now, I can imagine there are more and more groups with communication abilities playing together and coordinating their moves.

MM sent me into a CP battle, on the losing team with 1 minute 10 seconds left in battle. Score had a very wide gap. "So, Matchmaker, why bother? Losing team had 0 points. What do you think I could do to change that in 1 minute? When "they" said brains, you thought "they" said trains and you went to catch one."

From the WIKI: Batteries Battery Batteries are a new supply type, which will be automatically used in battles when you have any of the drones equipped. Same as other supplies, you will be able to purchases batteries in the Garage and in the Shop, find within containers and, of course, win in contests. One battery costs 300 . One battery is used per minute by any drone.

When non buyers first start out, their biggest mistake is trying to MU too many turrets and hulls at the same time. I found, through several failed attempts, ultimately, all you need is one short to medium range weapon, one long range weapon...one lightweight hull and one medium weight hull. Decide at the beginning of your career, what style of attack you are good/best at, then follow that path. Later, get the other turrets and hulls. Keep track of your rank and how long you have to MU or buy the next upgrade of your turret and hull. I made the mistake of buying a turret too late in my rank span for the M1 of that turret. I thought I had enough time to MU it to M1, but by the time I got it to 10/10, I was locked out of M1. At first, only get the protections that bother you the most.

That may not be enough to prove the pass was purchased. They will probably ask for a copy of your receipt. Saying that your crystals went down from 90K to 85K and taking a screenshot of the place where the pass should be is still your word against theirs.

Yep, happens to me, too. I'd get salvoed from Striker without a laser. Yesterday on Bridges there was an enemy Striker sitting on the bridge and never once saw a laser. The only way you can catch these hackers is to record each and every battle....ya know, just in case.

Yes, that happens quite often. MM puts me on the losing team in a battle already in progress and the score gap is too far to bridge. If battle starts at 0-0, the enemy team has scored and taken over our base within the first 2 minutes. From that point on they are spawn killing (outta be a law against spawn killing). OR our team tries to make it into a TDM (automatic loss). The other day, I played for 3 hours (a marathon for me) and was on a winning team twice. Even if I change turrets and hulls or go on another account...no difference. That's why I don't usually play the long hours I used to. Now, I spend more time in the forums than I do on the battlefield.

Yeah, I saw something rather dumb and stupid. Isida M2/Wasp M2 going up against Isida M2/Viking M2. The Wasp was on the enemy team. He came over to our base and did this repeatedly. Want to venture a guess as to who won each skirmish?

How do you tell whether a player is speed hacking or is rubberbanding because of lag? A few months ago, we took over the enemy base. I saw a tank spawn to my right (point A) and I began to fire with my Vulcan. Then he sped same distance to my left (point B.) I adjusted my turret and began to fire again. He sped back to point A and again I made the adjustment. Again he sped to the exact same spot in point B. Then again back to point A. This time, he went past me at supersonic speed at least twice the distance past point B. He was going back and forth so fast I couldn't get very many hits on him and my damage was low. He never loaded any supplies, not even RK. Hack or lag? My fps and ping were within allotted parameters....green not red.

Yep, same thing happens in my backyard. The squirrels sit up on the fence, run back and forth and my dogs go crazy. I have a tree with a low branch the squirrels will sit on and tease the dogs. The dogs jump, trying to get at the squirrel, but the branch is about a foot too high. But they keep trying.

I'm allergic to the nickel that encases the watch. The only kind I can wear is one that sits on a band that goes between my wrist and the watch. In my younger years, I used to live by a watch/clock. But now that I'm retired. I don't own any watches and the only clocks is the one on the computer and my alarm clock. I go the bed when I'm sleepy, I wake up when I wake up, eat when I'm hungry. If I have an appointment, I start getting ready 3 hours before hand, take my time and leave when I'm ready to go.

Shaft, in scope mode, can zero in on the cannon and do damage, so it isn't just empty space.

Last one I know was a hack was on Silence blue base a few years ago. The other team had left and another player and I stayed. He was on the top landing of blue and I was on the big flat platform just as you enter blue. He would fall off the top landing (where you make that leap of faith), fall about halfway and then fall back up again, like the same falling pattern only reverse. He did it several times. I told him I saw that hack and was going to report him if he didn't stop. He told me to go ahead, no one will do anything about it. I didn't report him because, at the time, I didn't know how to record. I asked him if he had any other hacks. He said that he did uses them all the time.

There's a topic in Game Discussion "Stupidest sight in tanki today" started by @BigCar. As I was reading the posts, something would joggle my memory of something I saw outside of Tanki that seemed pretty stupid at the moment. We've all seen them and ask ourselves, "Why?" of "What was he/she thinking?" I discussed this title with @BigCar and he was okay with it. So, onward! What was the stupidest sight you've seen today, outside of Tanki? Note: It doesn't necessarily have to be today. Yesterday, last week is fine. I'll start: Today, I saw a Teenager texting on his phone, step off the curb into the crosswalk of a busy intersection without looking up to see if any cars were coming. He had the red light and almost caused an accident when an oncoming car swerved to miss him. The Teen looked up at the driver and walked on still texting.

Tanki is turning into Battle of the Drones. Wasn't there a Sci-Fi movie with a similar name? I remember when drones were being discussed in the forum. Everyone had their own idea of their characteristics. Drones that flew around the battlefield and drop bombs. Drones that traveled by land and were radio controlled. Drones with heat seekers. And the list goes on. I don't think anyone foretold the present outcome.

I had read that the 100 crystal box was being replaced by the 1000 crystal box, but it's drop was more rare. It was quite a while before I saw one and quite a while before I even got close to one. But when I finally caught my first Gold Box, clenched my fist, kicked back with my elbow and said, "YESSSSSSSSSS!!"
