Still trying to complete a top 3 x 15 on one account and it's been stuck at 14/15 for ages. The last three battles where I got a top 3 were draws... Oh, and it's done... didn't notice my placing in last battle... got a violet shot effect for Shaft... only took 52 days to complete it..

I've only been playing for just over a year, but I'm hardly short of crystals. This account has over 600K, my first account has almost 700K, and my WO4 with only 90 hours on it has almost 600K. My newest account is about to rank up to WO2 after 50 hours and has 120K (and Smoky M1/10) and that's a good illustration of how over-generous it used to be for the older accounts, but that account is hardly impoverished. Earned crystals on those accounts (I've only got four) range from just 50K to just under 150K. Containers are the main income source now, and that's where non-buyers have been hurt because people who buy premium and battle passes for every challenge can earn a lot more of them. Buyers can also buy product kits two ranks earlier than non-buyers (three ranks earlier for Keeper), which is awful.

I keep it in the fridge (once opened), but I don't think it has to be kept in the fridge. It's a precautionary thing really. Ketchup and lots of other things often have enough sugar (look up "water activity in food") and/or vinegar in them to self-preserve, but not if contamination is introduced. One of my pet hates is people who don't used a clean spoon or knife every time they get some jam or something from a jar. Getting any amount of butter / breadcrumbs / whatever in it just provides a nucleus for mould etc. to grow on.

I just got to Disco paint on one of my accounts. I've always wanted that paint, and thankfully I've managed to get it on one of my M0/10 Hunter accounts just before it ranks up to WO4 and starts getting the horrible M1/2/3 bling. But seeing it on nearly every other tank is a bit disappointing. I like using genuinely rare or not that popular paints (I really like Sunset Camo), but nearly every paint will be a common sight if they keep giving them away in challenges.

I haven't had a 25,000 crystal container for a long time, but there were 2 rare containers in the 19, garage paint and 150 batteries. I don't think we'll ever know the probabilities because that sort of information is probably commercially sensitive.

I got a 10000 crystals one today, and I got one on the 4th of this month too. I don't think the probabilities for containers have changed (or do change), there's a lot of confirmation bias with containers like people thinking that how you open them makes a difference, but I have only have 19 containers in my latest notes, from the 4th of this month to today. That's three weeks, so an average of 1.6 containers per week per account (4 accounts) instead of what used to be 3-4 containers per week per account for a casual player like me, usually doing 10 missions a week, 20 missions every two weeks, sometimes finishing the other weekly mission. When it was possible to get 4 containers per week per account for doing very little (old work up to week 10 system), sometimes I got 16 containers of rubbish. But it didn't matter because you only had to wait a week to try again. But that system was too generous. So they made you work a lot harder for 3, possibly 4, containers a week, and 6 if you didn't want to have a life. Didn't like that change, but I can see why they did it and doing 1 or 2 (harder) missions per day for a minimum of 7 containers every two weeks instead of 8 wasn't that bad. But then they reduced the numbers of normal containers every week, but not the amount of work. And then they took away container rewards for tiers 1 and 5 on the challenges... There's a little bit of compensation with good mission days. I'll earn 3000 crystals if I do all three daily missions on one account today. And the challenges and more weekly containers, but I loved opening lots of containers instead of the trickle you get now. I don't mind getting rubbish containers (got 125 mines yesterday) if the probabilities are constant (not convinced that they have changed / do change), but the amount of play required per container at the moment is too high.

I agree. Don't think this one is that good, but I don't like many of the XT skins anyway. For Striker I would have gone for a bird's head in the middle and wings on the sides of the launchers.

But buyers and / or non-casual players are getting more and more advantages over the casual F2P players. Going to rank up on this account soon, which means Brigadiers that can buy M3 kits within my default rank limit. If I could always play for at least 10 hours a week on one account, then premium + battle pass for a challenge every now and then wouldn't be a waste of money, but nope. And the overdrives are coming, meh. Worst thing is being in mission-mode all of the time instead of just having fun.

Was on Magistral just now and a Smoky was on the bridge sniping everyone and nobody else on my team tried to kill them (they ended up with 13 kills and no deaths) Then I looked at their profile and what the... Their XP, hours in game, kills, and crystals earned are similar to the alt. I was using, but my K/D is only 1.30 OK, so I haven't used any supplies on that account and haven't obtained that many gold boxes (from buying, containers, challenges, whatever) or spent any money, and I should have bought a kit with an M1 Hunter and MU'd it ages ago (that alt. has over 550K crystals), but I must be really bad at this game.

Looking at the product kits on the wiki and seeing what buyers can now attack me with is so depressing, especially the Captain kits they can buy at 2nd LT. F2P Brigadiers must be :(

It's within the rank limits if you were using your WO5 account, which is a bit daft. I've been in that situation often (both with this account and my WO5), but also the reverse with people 5 ranks lower. It's going to get worse. I'm not far away from 2nd LT on this account and the rank spread will increase to 8 (I think). Hello Brigadiers and Major Generals...

I love that paint, but I can't afford it. Would buy it for all of my accounts if I was a billionaire, or just the accounts that still have M0 Hunters (no ugly bling on those).

I really like this idea, although constant damage might be better. It would make Shaft in to much more stealthy turret instead of one that reveals its presence and / or position whenever it hits you. You wouldn't know you were being "lit up" until you noticed your HP dropping. Might work even better without the laser. Can't see the point of the laser anymore. Once you are hit or killed by a Shaft, you know at least one is in the battle and you spend the rest of the battle looking for them and making more use of cover. It's not as if they are invisible.

Why did you not include M0 Hulls? When you get a really nice paint, the added bling on higher M Hulls is really annoying.

I'm not surprised that the girls team is winning. It's the team I would have chosen, and a lot of (presumably male) no-lifers seem to have done the same. (I'm not taking part because I'd never earn enough stars)

I've started saving mine (because I don't need to open them), but the most I have is 23 on my lowest account (WO1) and the most I play is 10 missions a week / 5 weekly containers every two weeks with the occasional extra one from the first weekly mission. I opened most of them on my higher ranked accounts because I wasn't ranking up that often, but wish I had saved them. I think the payoff of saving them until after WO ranks is worth it because that doesn't take that long and the return is huge percentage-wise, but I wouldn't have the patience to wait until Legend rank to double that return (I'm never going to get that far though).

My top 3 mission on account #1 is currently at 9/15. I have it on account #4 now too (only 1/15 there), urgh. I got lucky today and changed a "5 battles in DM" for 1425 crystals in to a "use 10 overdrives" for 1425 crystals, but I've had a few instances of changing a DM mission and getting another DM mission. I think changing a mission should always change the battle mode or turn in to an any-battle-mode one. I don't mind nearly all of the not-DM missions (will always change "score goals" missions), but getting points is easier than getting crystals.

Disco paint at tier 11 is tempting (I rarely get beyond tier 10 without Premium from containers or when it's given away), but I'm also a bit concerned about so many paints being in the challenges. I've got a lot of nice / rare paints from containers and I've been lucky so far because not many of them have been in the challenges, but they'll end up including all of them eventually.

I like Sunset Camouflage.
