Question for : Hey, It seems you have a lot on your plate as of right now, the community sure has been keeping you very busy; keeping up with answering questions, translating news and announcements, Friday Raws, keeping everything together just to name a few. I am sure the iceberg goes much deeper. My question to you is how are you able to manage time between this, your job and well, your personal life? You mentioned the fact you are currently in a relationship, have great hobbies and not to mention the two dogs you have please share pictures of them... :P My point is, you like to dedicate a lot of your time to the game — helping the players, understanding the game yourself and doing the job to the best of your ability. With this, you must have sacrificed a lot of time with loved ones. Do you maybe regret that? Anyhow, we really appreciate the amount of time and effort you have put into your job as a Community Manager! :)
  2. Hey, You don't have to play daily in order to reach WO1 — take as long as you need, Rio's beach isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Not unless there's a storm and the beach is wiped out. :D My point is, reaching WO1 isn't that hard, you don't have to play daily. Simply go at your own pace and take your time. Like I said before, you also don't need to buy the Pro Battle Pass, just join a clan once you reach WO1. :)

Hey, A system like Matchmaking was implemented to improve the game, get into battles faster and keep the time between waiting as low as possible. It's a system that is still 'learning' — it isn't perfect and everyone knows it. You will, sometimes, get into unfair battles. It's not pleasant, I know. I have been there, I know what how it feels to get completely destroyed in battles — believe me, it really is not pretty! :P However, there is nothing to stop you from leaving the battle and joining a new one — you won't lose anything. If you wait and expect everything to be absolutely perfect, you will be waiting for a lifetime. Matchmaking is a complex code, written by humans — humans that make errors. The next best thing we can do, as players, is to report the bugs and hope they get fixed as soon as possible. So, Keemstar — I would really love if we can stop debating about Matchmaking because you and I both know that it is not going away anytime soon. It is, in our best interests, to simply try and improve the system. As a gamer to another gamer, player to another player, I would love it if you could report any bugs/issues you find in Matchmaking in the Help Site.
  4. Hey, I understand that you want to play in Parkour mode and relax with a coffee mug in one hand and the keys to control the tank in the other. It seems very relaxing and quite enjoyable, actually. I may have to try that sometime, thanks for the suggestion! :P As for your concern, you don't have to buy the Pro Battle Pass in order to play Pro battles — there is an alternative to that too. You can simply join a clan, players in a clan get to join pro battles without having a pass. In order to get this, you will need to be a member of a clan for at least 24 hours, so that you can get your new title as "Private" within the club, therefore allowing you to join pro battles (such as parkour) for absolutely free. You will, however, need to be at least the rank of WO1 in order to do this. It is a free option, so I wouldn't exactly be complaining, even if I had to rank up once or twice. Judging from your experience points, it shouldn't be too far. You also mentioned, "Player buys kits and other stuff and logs off for months and then comes back and sees that some stuff has been changed in a way that will have negative impacts on the player(disability)" — these changes happen to keep the balance within the game. If such changes don't happen, players complain about a certain weapon being too overpowered. Once it gets fixed, people who had the kit complain because changes were done to it. You simply cannot keep everyone happy. Not all updates will benefit you, some benefit others and some don't. :) Helpful Links: Clan System (Positions) — Click Here Gaining experience — Click Here Patch Update #521 — Click Here
  5. Hey Luna, To play Tanki Online in HTML5, please see this guide by @Stratosphere: HTML5? Flash? How to play Tanki Online on either versionI have personally only tried to play on HTML5 via the TO Test Server, so far I am not a fan of it. I am sure it is due for improvements and bug fixes. Until that happens, Flash will still be the go-to for TO — at least for myself.

Hey, Matchmaking is a very complexed system, it is extremely hard to get it so-called 'perfect' — not just for TO but for any game. It's not exactly simple to create such a system in any given game. Although Matchmaking has been around in TO for some time now, it still has and will have issues and/or problems with it. Buying may give one a slight advantage, it does not mean that buying in TO is the only way to win. I personally have not bought in TO and yet still have a pretty decent account, with a lot of crystals, supplies and two strong combos. I can (and do) dominate in a lot of the battles, without having to spend a single dollar. I know this may be different in the higher ranks but if you take part in contests, events and other promotional activities the game has to offer, it really isn't hard to earn crystals.

    An interesting question...

Hey, Players, non-buyers mainly, don't really care if a certain someone is a buyer or not. What we care about is if it gives them an advantage over non-buyers or not. In Tanki Online, it does — at least to some extent. A good example of a game where buyers and non-buyers have no advantage over each other is CS:GO; buyers can only really customize their weapons (with skins) or other cosmetics. There is no advantage in having a default skin nor is it an advantage for having a skin that may set you back a couple of thousands of dollars. This way, the game depends on one's skill rather than one's bank account digits. There is no advantage in buying any of the skins — others may admire you (or your inventory) but that does not mean, in any shape or form, that you will have an advantage over someone. The game only depends on one's skill. Back to your statement, players in Tanki Online don't have a problem with buyers — they have a problem with the advantage it gives them because they choose to pay with real money over someone who doesn't.
  9. Hey, Not all updates can benefit the players. Some updates are needed to keep the balance in the battles, others help the game keep running. If Tanki Online didn't earn enough profit, it would eventually be shut down — there won't be any players left then. Some updates need to be implemented regardless of whether it benefits us or not. I have been waiting for the exact same kit in question (although I am not WO5 yet). It is probably one of the best kits available at low ranks. I get why you may be frustrated. If you really want to buy the kit and don't like waiting, the only best option left for you is to pay for it. Otherwise, we simply can wait for a certain kit to appear and have the developers in our prayers

You are correct, yes. I misunderstood the data. Thank you for correcting me! :P
  11. Hey Keemstar, The reason this so-called "random" kit feature was implemented was mainly so that players would pay for the kits (in the shop) instead of waiting for the kits to appear in the garage. You see, when one knows exactly when something will happen, it is a lot easier to wait for it. Especially if there's not long left. However, when something may happen "randomly", it is much harder to wait; we will always try to find an easier (or faster) way for it to happen if you will. Players now get tired of waiting around for a certain kit to appear, so they simply buy it from the shop (for real money). This way, the game benefits much more by making a profit. I can see why most people aren't so fond of this feature but when one looks it from the developers' point of view, it all makes much more sense.

Section: Points Distribution ("Link Here"); Page: Gear Score ("Link Here"); Error: With the recent Gear Score update (August 24, 2018), it is now possible to earn more than 9 999 GS. According to the Score Table ("Link Here"), it is now possible to earn a maximum of 10 044, instead of the previous 9 999 Gear Score. Also, it is worth mentioning something about the skins under the "Conditions for obtaining maximum GS" subheading.
  13. Hey, Can you please see if trying any of the below solutions works? If it does (or doesn't for that matter), please let me know. Use full-screen mode. There is a built-in function in the game, which allows you to play in full-screen mode and successfully solve the issue of poor game performance. Press F11 to activate full-screen mode, and then click “Allow” at the top of the screen. Press F11 once again to exit it. If you use FlashPlayer:Clear your cache (" How to clear my Flash Player cache?") If you use a Browser:Clear your cache ("How to clear your browser’s cache?"); Try refreshing the page using F5, on your keyboard; Try using a different Browser. Turn off all applications that use the network bandwidth. Increase your FPS ("How do I raise my FPS?") For more information on how one can reduce lags, please see this guide: "How to reduce lags?"
  14. Although I agree with you on the fact that paints shouldn't add any extra score, I think there is a very good and smart decision behind this. The highest Gear Score possible is 9999 — in order for one to achieve this, one must have; Fully M4 Turret; Fully M4 Hull; Fully MU'd Drone; Fully MU'd Module; All supplies equal to or greater than 300; Legendary (Rarity) Paint. Everything but the legendary paint can be (*cough*) easily achieved. As humans, we love to have the best of everything — better than our friends, family and even strangers. Having something better than someone else brings us joy, it makes us feel proud; it makes us feel superior. You can have fully micro upgraded items but still not be able to achieve that wonderful GS score; the perfect score of 9999. Not unless you are able to get ahold of a legendary paint. How does one earn that you might ask? Well, it comes at a big price. You can either buy it or win it. In order to win the paint, you must be very good at it and/or dedicate a lot of time and effort into the game — Legendary paints are won from tournaments or events (you can also get them in containers). Either way, it is a big win for the developers of the game: You choose to buy the "Legendary" Paint:The game gets money, you get your new "9999 GS Status" — Win-Win. You choose to win the "Legendary" Paint:You will likely spend a lot of time in the game (trying to win and beat others), which is always a plus for any game to get your "9999 GS Status" — Win-Win. You choose to open a container to win the "Legendary" Paint:You will likely spend a lot of money opening containers thus giving the game money to get your (you guessed it) "9999 GS Status" — Big Win for the game (and maybe you, if you're lucky). My point is, the developers were really smart with this — it is a great way to make sure players, in the higher ranks, continue to fight for something. We all want to be the best, having a score that is visible to everyone is a great way to show off your achievements. Although the paints don't offer much GS, they offer the last puzzle needed to make your friends and everyone else jealous of your amazing new status.

Hey Nezil, I am not 100% sure what you are trying to say here or which exact 'recording logo' you are referring to. However, from what I do understand, you are talking about the chat icon, Chat Moderators have that looks something like this: If that is the case, it is an icon given to Chat Moderators so that players can easily identify one should they ever need to. A similar icon is given to a few other helpers, shown below: Chat Admins: Chat Moderators: Chat Candidates: Battle Moderator Admins: Battle Moderators: Battle Moderator Candidates: Helpful links: List of Chat Admins, Moderators & Candidates (Click Here); In-depth Information about Chat Moderators (Click Here); List of Battle Admins, Moderators & Candidates (Click Here); In-depth Information about Battles' Moderators (Click Here); List of other helpers.

    Ask a Battle Mod

Hey, One of the thing, us players, neglect to understand is that Battle Moderators are players like us: they are humans too; they too have a life that they need to live and rightfully so. Battle Moderators (or any other moderators/helpers of the game) are not on a payroll, they do not get paid for the help and time they provide to the game, to us. What they do is purely of the goodness of their hearts — they love helping us, helping the game and improving it for each and every one of us. Since they are not on a payroll, you know that their help is genuine. They help us because they love doing it not because it is their 'job' — this is the same for any other moderator and helper too. Only the employees of the game are on a payroll (such as Game designers, Developers etc). Moderators and Helpers are not employees of the game. They are players like us, helping and playing the game from home with special 'powers'. I know it can be very frustrating when a Battle Moderator isn't available to help or take care of offenders in the game. Because of this, I would like to ask you; man to man, person to person — please record the offender within the battle and report it in the Forum. This can take time, I know. However, it is the next best thing, we players can do. I would kindly like to ask you to do this, it helps everyone in the process. :)
  18. Hey, This was very well written, I loved reading through it and you did an exceptional job at creating an image into my head of exactly what could have been going on at the scene. The only thing I didn't like, was the fact it ended. Looking forward to the sequel (if there is one)!
  19. Hey, When an account is 'hacked' by a player, the IP address of the hacker will appear maybe once or twice and the password to the account will most likely be changed too, in the process. A new password and a completely new IP address on an account along with a possible complaint to the tech support are all indications of a possible hacker getting into an account. Whereas, if two players are sharing an account, it is very likely that the password will be kept the same, no complaints will be made to the tech support and the IP addresses of the two players will appear together much more than of a hacked account. It is simply judging the behaviour and actions of the two players in the account and making a decision based on the data. :)

  21. Hey, As Royalworld pointed out, your questions should be posted in the Q&A topic. As for the question itself, one of the issues you could be having is that your "Graphics" look like the following: (Automatic graphics quality - ENABLED) If this is the case, uncheck the "Automatic graphics quality" and untick all the new options that appear. This should fix the issue. If not, please see this: FPS — Fixing FPS Drops.

Hey Bydo, I am aware of what you are trying to say. However, even staying on the CP throughout the entire game is not against the rules. If a team/player is strong enough to do that, then good for them. The only thing you can do is try to destroy the tank in order to regain control. It is not against the rules to defend a point, even if it means standing on top of it throughout the game. :)
