getting to marshall with viking m2, you will not have much fun. you need an m2 10/10 hull, especially considering your main turret is hammer (short range), so your hull will take a lot of hits before you get enemy base. so keep upgrading viking, and you could buy hornet isida kit, its not that expensive

You can use supplies at all ranks. You can't BUY supplies from garage at that rank, but from shop, or from containers, you can still get supplies. These hackers are the reason why im not playing much these days. Even vikings are running faster than wasps these days. And the hackers are there on the test server too. They just ruin the battles. Its worthless to even try and protect the flag. They have this new hack where they are able to get under your tank, and flip it. It can happen once or twice in a battle due to lag, but the Russian cheaters are very good it. When it happens 5 times in a battle, it is definitely a hack. I always report using the button, but no mod ever comes and removes them. And no, i'm not going to bother recording them. Too much effort for too little gain. Better to let the "festive season" pass. Also, there are other games which I can play, in which there are no cheaters. I have less than 40 stars as of now.

yeah but the least they can do is make it 8 vs 8 and keep it 8 vs 8, with higher ranks distributed equally across both teams. this should not be hard to do, and yet it doesn't happen very often. Often one team has all the higher rank players, and at other times, play goes on with 5 vs 8, with no replacement coming in. And this when the team with 5 players is actually LEADING a CTF game. It gets very frustrating at times. They are just not interested in fixing MM. They think better way to earn money is by selling shot colours and fancy paints, rather than improving gameplay.

a mod said that matchmaker does not use GS at all Gs anyways is about items equipped, not items owned. most legends would equip m0 equipment when clicking play button and then change equipment in battle, if that was a way to get a good team.

you are old player. economy was much more kinder early on. it takes ages to get container rewards now. and most are speed and mines no, he is right. he gets put more often into hopeless battles because his efficiency rating is much better than yours : 92 054 vs 88 197 for you same happens with me, on most accounts. if your efficiency rating is too good for your rank, then you get bad teammates. the matchmaker overcompensates for your good play in previous battles.

light hulls simply aren't good enough for matchmaking battles, too many turrets can one shot them, and with drones, its going to be even easier. from your list, simoom and excalibur seems to best option, but there really isn't much point in getting 2 medium hulls in mid ranks. you're better off spending on a drone and MUing the hull, instead of buying another medium. you're ignoring some really good kits. 1) voltage (m2 rail dictator and 25% rail protection) at just ~131k and at WO5 this will give you plenty of time to MU the stuff to m3. 35% protection from rail in mid ranks will come in really handy simoom is good also, but go for only 1 medium hull kit, and 1 heavy hull kit. m2 light hull kits simply aren't worth it IMO (they get weak too quickly as you rank up) 2) boar (rico dict and protection) a combo that does well even in brigadier rank, unlocks at wo5, so you'll get plenty of sales to MU it to m3 buy the 20k rico alteration also, and you have an OP combo 3) mammoth thunder m2 kit (again, very useful thunder protection) 4) twins viking (from around major rank and onwards, they start to dominate all battles on drugs) 5) titan twins - killer beast in small maps, though not really for capping flags or scoring goals so i suggest pick one each from the 2 categories: 1) medium hull category: dictator-rail, dictator-thunder, dictator-rico, viking twins 2) heavy hull category: mammoth-thunder, titan-twins i recommend these kits because the modules are really useful in battle. rail, thunder, rico twins : regularly top battles striker and magnum are less dangerous in m2 ranks than these i'd personally recommend simoom and ram (titan-twins). if you like playing striker/magnum, buy them separately on sales when you rank up.

Too many skilled players in low ranks these days. They are accurate, and they aim for corners of hulls. A couple of MUs on M1 smoky and you can even knock off aim of titan m1.

Also, i think assault mode was first introduced in those days, on yorkshire map. they have change the location of the bases now. it was still unbalanced back then. those were good days in tanki..
