Nah, that's not as good. It's gotta be a total respawn.

Tbh I rather using stock Railgun than Destabilised. Since the nerf it received, I find stock more effective.

To get a sense of distance from island to island... flat M3 Rico with MFS can shoot the distance, and a bit over.
-
On Archipelago? Easy to escape the bomb - lot's of houses to hide behind. With M3 hulls no problem.
-
Pretty good - but if you wanted my honest opinion I would opt for Turtle. It's better overall. Also, if you have M2 Viking it's a waste to get a kit with Viking in it. Plus, Turtle is in now so if you go just slightly slow it'll be in again when you reach that rank.

Shaft is super fun to use. Nothing more fun than getting kill-streaks of 6 with only one or two other things happening in the battle log. It's fun to get attacked by Freezes who expect an easy target, then kill them close range when they have full drugs. Not fun to sit at the back, even if you are helping the team. Nothing more fun than scoring CTF or RGB or ASL with Shaft, not using an OD. Nothing more fun than playing with Shaft, as a mobile sniper.

Seems kinda like Rico without the bounce. It's a fine idea, but what new things does it add (besides meaning you buy an alt not a new turret )

Is there still a tutorial at the start? On browser it's not really. I guess with Mobile the problem is not not knowing where the controls are (though this would happen at first) but it is being fluid when using them. Nice idea.

He was talking about the other map, some other MM maps got minor adjustments.

You have spec?

Finally got into a battle in Archipelago. It was terrible. CP was just Island takeover, and there's nothing you can do with 1 supply vs. a bunch of the enemy with full supplies and ODs. And then there's the quandary - if you use a semi-long rank turret it's hard to takeover, and if you use a short-range turret then you literally have no way of earning points. Kinda silly. Interesting concept, bad map. MM makeovers of Cross and Molotov are, as I suspected, good for playing.

Hey hey, what about JGR in Archipelago? *JGR get's killed* *immediate self-destructing occurs as people try to get on his island* :P
-
You've got a problem. Groups only go up to three players.

Soo, checked out the new maps. First impressions: Archipelago A bit - odd. First spawn I thought it was just that one little island - hardly fit for an 8 v 8. But then I saw the other two and I was only slightly appeased. Needless to say there's no way to get from one to the other, even in parkour mode. It's kinda like regular Polygon in that there are no bases. IMO it's a bad map (though I haven't played on it yet) because short-range turrets will rule, because there is easy cover from long-range turrets going from one island to the next. As a side note - one of the islands is literally Island with some barriers. If I were to improve the map, I would add heavily covered bridges in between islands (including the middle) and maybe make 4 islands instead of 3 with bases. Cross MM Good job! This is a great-looking map and it looks like it'll promise decent gameplay. I love the back, how it gives cover. This is a really well-done change, and kinda savours of Sandbox moving to MM too. Love it. Molotov This one looks cool too - I sense a new map to conquer. It's a bit hard to tell where the map starts and ends because of the congestion of houses, but once you figure it out it's good. Love the layout, especially for ASL. This looks like a prime map. Good job on this one too. One piece of advice - make the trenches be a self-destruct area, because I sense that some Magnums are going to figure out just how good of a camping spot that is - virtually impossible to kill them without having to self-destruct yourself. Overall, great update in terms of maps. Haven't see balance changes in battle but they see pretty good. Bravo, devs. Nice job.

Need some help with your results? Don't use Support Nanobots! *Edit: Nvm didn't see the challenge

Because that makes perfect sense ;) Hm - never tried that. If you use a 0 degree shot you can do two things. First of all, it's easier to time two shots onto the right % then three. Second, you con control how much lift you have - make a slightly longer delay for shots to land and do a higher percentage for your 0 degree shots, or do a lower one if you find you're going too high. You can also control damage that way :)

Some fun going back to old maps today. Not even beginning-of-this-journey maps but the very first parkour battle I ever joined: Aleksandrovosk DM. Back at the rank of I received 3 days of premium time, and the first thing I did was go into my own pro-battle. Of course, the button was not unlocked, so instead I waited for someone to post the link to a battle in one of the chats, then I would click on that and make my own. But back to the first time, I figured out I could reach the battle list that way. I went onto it, and clicked the "Create battle" button. "Aleksandrovosk?" I thought, "Hm, okay. I'll try jumping off that ramp thing." Away I went, first finding the button that made it space mode. I equipped my trusty Ricochet M0+Wasp M0 and joined the battle. My first object was to survey the empty map. If I'm correct, I didn't even notice it was different from the MM version. After scouting it out, I found the ramp and jumped. There's really nothing so satisfying as first trying out space mode. I figured out how to do flips, and spent 30 minutes trying to land a double sideways flip ;) Noob as I was, I didn't realize that you could make a private battle. Sooner or later a very "experience" WO1 entered my battle. The rank slightly cowed me, but he was nice enough and showed me some of his parkour tricks, which I thought were worthy of competition at the time. His hardest one was doing the little jump up to the side ledge. I tried over and over, but could not manage to do it. My excuse? He had Rico M1, and I had M0. It was at that moment that my goal in Tanki switched from reaching Third Lieutenant (I thought the insignia looked nice) to getting Rico M3 and being a parkourist. Less than 5 months later, my dreams were both realized. My Tanki path was set directly on the path of Shaft and XP/BP as a side hobby. Then when I ranked to First Lieutenant, I discovered that I could buy Rico M2! I was, to put it lightly, ecstatic. With the help of my savings so far and 300K from a container, I made my Ricochet M3. Of course, this was all after I had started my parkour journey in this topic. I bought Rico M1 right as soon as I could, if you were wondering :) And now, after completing this journey, I was approached by none other than @Troop10, or @Mr.Nibbles who competed in MoP 2019 but was disqualified for a problem with filming, who asked if I would like to start an OMP club. That offer was accepted, and the club is in the making - the official page should be coming out reasonably soon. That's my full Tanki parkour journey. As I said, I re-visited Aleksandrovosk today and had fun conquering everything in one-try. I saw the first building I ever conquered with Magnum (which I did this time with Rico, even though that wasn't possible at the time with M1), and other fun stuff. This was random, but it was fun reliving my memories of 4 months and several hundred thousand exp ago :)

Congrats! Welcome to the world of Tanki, so to speak ;)

That skybox makes it look like regular gravity :) The benefits of M3 Magnum's reload, and 50% protection and Mortar alteration. I assume you use one 0 degree shot as the others land? Tsk tsk, 5 shots. My M1 Wasp with M1 protection against my M0 Magnum breaks down after 3 shots, and even if I could do 4 with my reload, it will self-destruct. On the plus side, you can now conquer basically any building in Tanki - just use different amounts of shots.
