Yes, there might be hiccups, but if there are, I want the criticism to be supportive, constructive, and civil. These people have been working hard to set this up. Fair comment, but it needs some perspective. This game started out with two guys and an idea, but no experience of how to scale upwards. And that's exactly what happened. The game grew exponentially very quickly, and the systems they had in place weren't equipped to scale up to that size. Now the company is in a position where it's working with systems that were created for a project that had much smaller demands, while trying to invest time, money and energy into keeping the project afloat, while also creating new systems to cater for it. As you can imagine, it's a tough job juggling all of those priorities (all of which are top priorities). This isn't a new phenomenon either. Any business that starts out small and grows quickly, faces these problems. If an experienced entrepreneur opens a new business, he/she will have the know-how and experience to foresee potential pitfalls. But if it's someone new with little experience, then they have to grow with the business and the problems it invariably brings. It's like when a child is growing up and his parents need to buy him new shoes every 2 months. Hopefully this bit of perspective will help everyone understand why the game is undergoing the changes it currently is. I also hope you will all appreciate how many changes have happened in the past few months, in an attempt to bring the game back up to speed. And bear in mind there's a lot more in the pipeline.
