Then i pity you guys. You are mediating something without realising the severity of the development. Fulfilling a role with your mouths gagged not being able to say what you mean. You say something and negate it by saying something else. Neutral = no point made. In most times, your role is pretty important but in this case, to me, a failure in change management in the supposed "massive event of the year". Massive in the wrong way in every sense.

Maf, the problem i have with these mod comments is that it all sounds so neutral. Why even bother to list the Advantages and Disadvantages? Its not about weighing pros and cons. The community dynamic has been almost completely lost in this MM configuration. How much conversation happens in a 10min battle? No wait, most of the time, you are inserted into a battle at 7 or 8mins and you spend 2 mins orientating yourself to the map, finding out where your allies are and configuring your protection module to optimise your game. Building and making friendship with fellow tankers is lost in the game. You'd need to join a pro battle to create a community but then again, now, only if you are a clan member or if you own a pro pass (which is paid monthly) can you be part of such a community. We are talking about friendships across continents. Russian, German, Polish, American and Asian friends. All that is being destroyed. The few guys who like the MM so much together with tanki developers can keep your MM as an option but clearly majority of the community don't like it. Best way forward is just have an option and if you'd like, put some incentives in MM to draw people there - and see if really is what the community wants. I don't get it. Why must tanki force everyone to be part of MM? I really don't understand completely.

PLEASE REMOVE MATCHMAKING or MAKE IT AN OPTION AT LEAST! I've already LOST 2 GOOD TANKI FRIENDS WHO QUIT THE GAME!!

LOL...i play twins/smokey/shaft and i am not complaining because i use rail or shaft. In fact, i fared pretty swell in MM battles using shaft. I am placed in the top ranks at times and earn quite a sum of crystals from some of the battles yet i am complaining about MM BIG time! WHY? BECAUSE I and many others want back the freedom to choose please. Its not about how much crystals i'm earning, but the freedom to play in the map i want with the friends that i want to hangout with. i don't like to be routed from Highway->Serpuhov->Massacre->Year2042->Yorkshire->RedAlert...what the heck...its crazy. As a legend, i can cope with the intensity of the MM - i can only imagine the misery that the lower ranks have to go through when facing off with tanks 3-10 times their strength. I think in some of the comments of how MM is working and how MM is earning crystals is great misses the entire point. That our freedom is completely gone!

MM as a feature on its own isn't an issue. Forcing everyone to be in MM is an issue. Winning in MM does give you more crystals but the overall experience is very different. Solution is very simple: Give players the choice to be part of MM or not. (That's called change management. Pulling the plug like this has made alot of players shocked or disoriented.) Reward players who play in MM more crystals. Those that don't want to play in MM have the option to play in their map of choice but stick with the conventional reward system. Observe the takeup rate. If only a small % play in one of the options, then remove it at a set date. My other issue is how this the whole MM feature is rolled out. If there are bugs (and we've been told to be patient several times), why continue to keep the system running with it? Clearly its not been properly tested. That's why the server has to be restarted all the time. You change one code and see what happens. You should roll back the feature and test it on a test platform. You are using the production server as your test bed. That defeats the purpose of having a test environment while your users are facing all this "server is going to be restarted message".

As if the MM update wasn't already terrible enough, there have been continuous server restarts throughout today.

This update is so totally messed up. It has messed with our brains (constant changing battles), messed with our enjoyment in playing tanki and messed up playing with friends. All the highlighted issues are the same issues highlighted back in August 2017. :ph34r:

I feel the developers are really stubborn on rolling out this development. We've all given our feedback last year in August 2017 and the problems are mostly a rehash of what we already said. Most of the reasons we gave were explained away. If after 8 months, the same problems are there, why does the developer team insist on pushing on with this change? Those that are super happy with this update, please raise your hands. Do a poll amongst the community and share the results of the poll. I am 99.99% sure the result of not wanting matchmaking will be overwhelming.

Let me cut to the chase. I hate the matchmaking. I played on 2 accounts. These are the reasons: Same as the test in August 2017: a) Took 1.5 mins to get into a Rugby mode match. Then when i got in, the battle ended...then i waited another 1.5 mins to get in. b) In certain maps, there's very bad lag. Kunger is esp bad. c) I get inserted into maps where battles are already played more than halfway through. In every new map i'm inserted in, i have to re-orientate and change my protection module to fit the map type and environment. d) For the first time in maybe 1.5 years, i resorted to playing in my own created map in a pro battle so that i could play with my friends. The so called friend feature you created in pro battle, i have to invite my friends and let them experience what i am going through?? Are you kidding me? Jump from battle to battle, get inserted into more than halfway played battles, and get placed in maps that have huge lags? WHY? In a nutshell, i SUPER SUPER HATE THIS UPDATE! :angry: ITS A VERY VERY TERRIBLE UPDATE! i have said this before, but now after trying it for 5 hours, its my conclusive verdict.

Hi Nives, Firstly, i want to say all the good things of recent in Tanki. 1) The change in Mission Rewards is a good one. So we no longer have to do missions daily. Thats a very humane move.=) so no one is stuck to doing the mission chain. 2) The recent cosmonaut's day meteorite falling coupled with 10x gold drop was awesome. I mean really awesome. Shadowed every other event including April Fool's. I'm sure the stats speak for themselves. Like 30-40K tankers logging in concurrently. Now i want to share some not so good stuff that has happened of late: 1) The managing of the cut-over to the new mission rewards system isn't good. Those peeps that played unbroken chains for 10, 20 or even 30 weeks should not have been penalised and brought to the 4th week reward. There's no basis to do that. I mean, why?? Its like penalising your loyal and faithful tanki players for 6 weeks before they can recover back to the same reward system. I feel there wasn't any basis to do that and it just "communicated" something negative to loyal players. Just wanted to get that out. 2) The impending arrival of the auto-balancing of battles isn't going to be welcomed. Previously, we said that it was going to be confusing to move players from one map to another map every 10mins. It will be VERY DISORIENTATING. I think for season players who know the maps, because we've played in so many maps, it will be better but for the less seasoned players, i can imagine, how disorientating it will be. The answer given in the video was that we can play in pro battles. But the thing is, people want to fulfill their missions which they can't in pro battles while at the same time NOT be disorientated and play in the map they want to play. The simple reason is because every map has advantages for certain tank configurations. So if a tanker has invested in a certain tank configuration type, you put them in say polygon map, they will die like crazy. So this auto-balancing thing that is impending, i can tell you is a BIG SWITCH OFF for many players. 2) The battle time of 10mins is really too short. Its NOT TRUE that battles are determined in the 1st 5 mins. I've seen battles swing in the 10th minute drastically. So 10mins really hardly allows teams to communicate and work with one another to turn the battle tide. OK those are the 4 most important things i just wanted to say. Signing OFF=) Cheers.

Hi Nives, Greetings. I'd like to make a practical suggestion. Currently, when Russian players try to talk to me over the chat (because we make friends), i can't communicate with them. I can only use google translate to copy and paste into the chat but i can't do the same when a russian speaks to me in russian. I can't copy the text. I was wondering if it were possible to do some form of translation over the chats at least from english to the main languages like russian, french and polish. At least these are the more common ones i see. I have made a friend in russian but for the life of me, we can't communicate. This small change i feel will make tanki a more interesting community. Dear Tanki, I've been playing for about 8 months now and i can understand the intent of the latest change which i applaud you for trying. However, I really don't like the latest change because the matchmaking system isn't really working. These are the following reasons why i don't like it: a) I was put into a forest map filled with LEGENDS when i'm a major general rank. That didn't make sense at all so i left the battle because i can't fight legends at my current rank. :o b) Every battle i have to wait an average of 1.5 to 2 mins to log in. This is compounded with every game i play. In an hour, i will wait 2 x 4 = 8 mins? Assuming i like the battles. I believe at the busy hours, the wait time will increase to 3mins or more. I will test later. :wacko: c) I can't choose the map i want to play in!!! :angry: Thats the worst part of the new change. I get matched but i don't like the map i'm randomly assigned to and i'm stuck. So if i hate the map, i will leave and join again and wait another 2 mins. d) I cant see whether i've completed my missions. :angry: In the past you had a star in the top right where i could track experience earned, kills completed etc. Now, only after the game, can i see this stat. These are my fresh feedback which i hope you can find somehow to address. Your sincere tanki player :( Brainhoo

Consider having an airstrike option...planes fly past and or apache firing missles. That would be totally new to tanki Another crazy idea i mentioned before is to add a common enemy in the game where tankers will unite against. Upon the common enemy's destruction, drop 3 goldboxes or something like that

I had the same experience when i tried to type "BRICK" as the answer but once i typed "RED URBAN", the answer went through.

This is so silly!! I mean, I think the russian mind can only crack russian type riddles. Nobody will be able to crack russian codes. Who in the right mind would interpret the cartoons as the picture of the back of a smoky turret. This is sooooo extremely crazy!! :blink:
