    basically pay to win updates. alterations now are just upgrades with very few of them having a downside (for example i think the heavy caliber railgun alteration used to give bonus damage but have longer reload and charge ttime, not its just bonus damage without downsides as far as i know). they where all put into containers where you had a random chance of getting and alteration, no one liked it so with massive backlash they put them back for crystals, but at a major price increase. as for kits, now they dont come with paints and tankoins are a currency mainly available for real money but they argue that "oh we give you about 3 tankoins in the free battle pass that you can save up for 28 years after playing matchmaking battles 30 hours a day then you might be able to afford a mk1 kit. have fun with the new update guys". you can get them from certain containers as well (might i add that there are now multiple types of containers to get scammed by). mk7 kits cost 7,700 tankoins, thats 77 battle passes of work. 2 battle passes a month. so in 39 months of maxing the battle pass, you can buy yourself that kit that was 100% worth the time and is probably obsolete now! with all ranting aside, now your best bet of getting any of the things you mentioned is spending money, very sad i know.

    its nice, makes it a bit more of a sort-mid range gun instead of just short range. ddoes feel much better with the higher mk's of hammer though since they have longer range, obviously since hammer works on a spread system it makes what would normally be very little damage at the longer ranges a bit more of an impactful shot. it has a bit of turret rotation reduction but if you play some other slightly slower turning turrets you shouldnt have a problem.

    yeah i agree, legends should only fight among themselves, perhaps have 1 bracket of legend 1-4 and the other bracket is 5-infinity.

    i dont get it, why do people complain when they give you something for free, in a free game. i complain about the game overall because it can be unfun, but complaining about them giving a free drone? "ooo i already have this and and and it made someone else happy because they didnt have to pay for it like i did with in game currency and and and now im upset that someone else is happy". if you paid for it you got to use it before anyone who got it free got to use it, no matter how short of a time that may be. not to mention that its a 1 day thing, people who miss the day will miss out.
  6. yay, just another upgrade to turrets, not a tradeoff that requires any skill to use effectively, nope, just another upgrade to allow for even more braindead "run in, spam supplies and die" gameplay. and you have the cheek to start advertising esports on this game? esports? some joke. thats like saying candy crush has esports, but the difference is that a mobile game has less p2w.

    make an alternate interface for html 5 that is identical to the current flash interface and you can chose what one you want to use. hardly anyone likes the html 5 interface compared to the intuitive flash interface. then again, hardly anyone likes playing this anymore so perhaps its fitting.

    an improvement so props for that. but there are still 2 problems. 1, they are too expensive. 2, they are still just upgrades, they where better when they where changes with more of a trade off than an upgrade

    you say "stay" but it wont be for long. without a growing playerbase it will just go downhill quickly. they will get the money from the p2w players and milk the idiots as much as they can, and once they all decide to go (since no one else wants to play an outdated browser game that does absolutely nothing for new players) it will get no new players and will disappear. everything they are doing besides using html is a dead giveaway of this.

  15. 2nd post in this topic. just to say that my problem is the stupid change to what was before a good feature that we knew as alterations. my thoughts on the changes to funds in format battles is that its good. format battles are for improving with 1 thing against 1 things. the real skill is shown when fighting up against all different combos (that you find inn regular pro battles). not being able to get crystals in format battles is fine as long as you can in normal pro battles since they take more skill to succeed in (providing you arent scum who just uses the most op stuff).
  16. people running the show are jokemen. so now alterations that provided an option to change your playstyle while still keeping a balance with the stock turret are now just upgrades that are most accessible from the shop, behind an rng wall. not only do you have to pay for them, but you have to get lucky as well to get the ones you actually want. "oo you can get them from matchmaking battles as container drops", anyone playing matchmaking is a p2w player because for anyone else it sucks. great, cater to the people spending money on a declining game. last minute cash grab before the lights go out. you have failed your loyal players who have played for years and enjoyed the way the gameplay worked. i have been playing less and less since tanki x ended, and i thought that when it did, the hard work put into that would be put back into this game to make it thrive. no, you failed that community as well. just a bunch of failures.

    easier said than done when their is any kind of team play going on. just a simple message in chat "bob and steve go right, i will use od on left". easy way to get rid of a decent group on enemies while locking them in. of course certain maps this isnt as easy but everything has its optimum time and place, not to say it cant be used like that but just on a smaller section rather than near all of the enemies. if a hunter with some others (maybe even just 1 or 2 team mates) pushes up together to close distance, its no problem to get a good od off and make the enemies protection cut by a significant chunk. let alone its use as a support, to assist flag carriers, to use if your base gets pushed etc. it has so many good uses that can be pulled of fairly consistently with just a few brain cells.

    yeah, because when it was higher it was very overpowered, the enemies didnt have any defense against it and where just waiting to get wiped by a fully juiced team wile they have no supplies. its still a very viable tool now in its current state.

    how? i think there are a lot of tunnel visioned dumb players who seem top think every overdrive is a run into the enemy base and wipe them all out instantly without any risk kind of tool. its not. its like an ultimate in games like paladins or overwatch. an ability that if used correctly at the right time can have a massive impact. by that logic, hunter does it better than alot of others. its also a supportive overdrive, not an offence or defensive yet can still be used as either, making it one of the most versatile overdrives as well.

    its fine. its stun time is already enough to come on with your team and secure a teamwipe. if that wasnt enough it delays supplies, while also taking off current ones. very powerful as is.

  22. yeah sure they needed html 5, im not arguing that. (though the development was on the wrong game) tx died because they stopped making updates due to them making updates on this game. tx was a better platform with solid, up to date foundations that made matchmaking a more secure system. alright, you say willful ignorance, i say common sense. what do you think happened to the recruit players with tier 3 modules (that weren't that hard to get in the 1st place)? they went up in the ranking ladder very fast, and found a ground around their skill level. anyone with higher tier equipment shot up the ladder and got out of new players battles very fast. here in TO, you get op gear, you stay against the same people until you rank up out of the matching bracket, that takes alot longer than it did to shoot up to the next league with higher tier gear in tx. if you didnt like tx then fine, but you cant just disregard that its systems where better and more fair and instead just call it bad because it wasnt to your taste. the main thing to buy in tx was skins, and at a point they kept releasing skins for people to buy and generate them revenue. this game just keeps adding more p2w items, and i bet you any amount of money that the most purchased items in the store are not skins, but rather kits, crystals, and other things that give you ridiculously unfair gameplay advantages. sure tx had the module containers, but people shot up the leagues once they saw improvement and that put them in the right place where everyone is on a closer playing field. maybe reading isnt your strongest skill so ill say again that putting players into battle based on gear score isnt a be all end all solution, but perhaps a temporary fix that doesnt require much effort on the devs part to implement (since they already have the gs parameter) until they can secure a better fix. though not the best solution, its not ludicrously useless as tightening rank brackets. but hey, lets say its a terrible solution, it could take another leaf out of tx book that they got right. a long time ago in tx before they released the update that too away nearly all the p2w, they had a star system. it was flawed, hence why it was removed, but not because it was a bad idea, just because they used it wrong. the stars showed the power of your current tank, you also didnt have an option to change your tank mid battle. by locking your equipment, they can match you based on the power of your currently equipped tank. that would solve some problems. but saying this is all up in the air because this game never adapted its matching system to a modern standard. they kept with their broken system. because of this its just so far away from the tx system in its entirety that without a full overhaul its going to be bad no matter what happens. it needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, how equipment's power if judged, how players are matched, how you improve gear, what gear you improve, basically everything. it just seems like everything now is not enough and not in time

    2 new alterations for twins enhanced left accelerator makes only the left barrel fire but fires twice as fast (right barrel disabled) reduce impact force by 30% enhanced right accelerator makes only the right barrel fire but fires twice as fast (left barrel disabled) reduce impact force by 30% depending on the map one might be better than the other (allowing you to corner peek better with twins, but of course at the cost of only being able to peek effectively with 1 side of your tank, you will have to expose yourself more to fire if the active barrel is on the other side. this equals to the same amount of exposure as using twins normally so to still have normal twins be useful these alts have 30% reduced impact force so you cant just completely mess someones aim up by barraging them on 1 side (so stock twins still has the upper hand at knocking off aim). i thought this would be an interesting option for higher level players to benefit from since in lower ranks people dont corner peek as much (tho everyone is a smurf now so...).
  24. well it wasnt worse than TO, it was balanced better for a start. i could give you a list of everything better about it that is just information without my personal thoughts. i played through silver multiple times, i got better, advanced to gold and so on. same on other accounts, at the time there was alot of controversy around silver league being hard to get out of so i made sure i tested it with new accounts going through silver league without spending a penny and since i was actually the skill level of a master league player i got though it quite easily. there was a time before i was master that i was stuck in silver, that was when i wasnt good (aka, when i should have been in silver against other players with average skill). the containers you could easily earn from battles, and since they where so expensive otherwise they rarely got bought (even from buyers) becuse it wasnt good value compared to what you got from battles. it was an option for players (since it was still a small game so needed revenue somehow) but was far from needed to progress the ladders and get into fair matches. i was as casual as it got for most of my time, only played a few hours of it a week yet was still able to advance. the point of me saying all this isnt to brag about my in tx, its to show how the resources that tx used ca now be put into this game to add the good attributes of it, the matchmaking in tx (although not the best in the world of games) was far better than this mess. the idea of a ranking mode to act as a sync to over powered players (though i dont think only ranking mode was a great idea in tx, i would take it any day over this current matchmaking). if they arent working on tx anymore then at least take its good qualities and attempt to implement them here rather than more shop bundles, random paints no one will ever use (that also happen to look deep fried) and hull overdrives that absolutely no one asked for. fix the basics first. however as i said before, i think everything is too late at this point, playerbase is dropping, they dont invest in advertisement, and they dont make it a welcome place for new or intermediate players, basically lacking anything that the thriving games capitalize on.
  25. not sure how far you got in tx but i got pretty far as a consistent master league player while having well below average level modules and found battles to be fair, especially once they tuned it up a bit. friends i got to play who started fresh accounts found battles fair (of course disregarding the ones you got right at the start with bots, only talking bout battles against real players). no where near as many stomps s this game and at the very least the people you where against where somewhere close to your skill level (masters got little tricky but they eventually differentiated it so that the top master players where against eachother rather than just the early elo of masters). the suggestion of going by gear score isnt implying your current gear score, your overall (based on your full garage). i thought that was a given. and besides its a suggestion, they have structured everything so badly that to balance matchmaking properly there would have to be a full overhaul. the suggestions im giving are something that would require too much effort on the devs part but could make at least some positive difference. to properly balance it would be alot more involved and i might make a separate topic about that a different time but would be too long to put here. and as said, rank is an outdated system that shouldnt serve any purpose other than vanity, there are many much better solutions just as easy as tightening the brackets that would make a much better impact than that.
