If they are relevant as well as appropriate size (You can adjust the size of an image by double clicking on it in 'edit mode') then it shouldn't be a problem.

As far as the question about hiding your ideas, users which are in the advanced group can "hide" their own topics/posts by clicking on "Moderation Actions" above (on desktop) or below (on mobile) and selecting hide. The helper applications section makes it clear that a person will be contacted regarding his/her application with in 2 months if they are 'accepted'. If not, it simply means that they got rejected. In that case, feel free to apoly after 6 months, starting from the time you sent in the previous application. If your concern is that why you can no longer see your application in that section, it means that it got moved and it has nothing to do with the 'acceptance/rejection' of an application. Please wait for a response from the administration, if you don't get one in due time, feel free to send in another application after the mentioned time. I hope this helps!
