I hope so, because the thing is really frustrating to fight against.

mess about with your graphics settings

That tanks being healed by Isida are too difficult to kill and that healing with Isida gives low score in MM battles, thus healing is decreased so that healing duration is increased.
-
With the reasoning behind the Isida changes explained, the changes now make more sense. I still do not feel that Isida should be primarily an offensive turret though. Challenges each month are cool . . . but lowering battle time to seven minutes is just ridiculous. By this summer we'll probably have five minute battles.
-
Most of these changes seem good. Duplet got nerfed, celebrate. Mission rewards I don't care about. However, the whole deal with Isida confuses me. I'm not particularly enthusiastic about it becoming a mainly offensive turret. On the other hand, I see that the devs have tried to encourage players to actually contribute to their team by upping score earned for healing, which is nice. And on the third hand, I don't see why healing had to be so drastically nerfed. I suppose I'll have to see how it plays out.

I don't understand what is so difficult. You install Adobe AIR, download a file, unzip it, run setup.
-
I must disagree. Highways is a nightmare to play for any turret that isn't long range, and honestly Shaft does just fine on most other MM maps.
-
Tanki's response to this is "don't play long battles" and honestly, I agree with them. It's unlikely they'll care about players getting kicked and whatnot.

It was 50%, which is why it was so OP.

HTML5? Flash? How to play Tanki Online on either version
ThirdOnion replied to Stratosphere in Archive
It's true, it's not the fault of browsers but the fault of Tanki that the HTML5 version sucks. All we can do is wait until it gets better. -
It's not difficult to download / set up. It is just that TO stopped officially supporting it a long time ago, and so people who want to get into map making / testing maps have to rely on help from the community . . . not everyone who knows how to do all this stuff wants to write a guide to help others.

I love playing no-supplies PRO battles. The difference between them and MM is night and day, and I actually have FUN - can you believe it? But it’s annoyingly difficult to find no-supplies matches which are not 999 minutes long, are not XP/BP, aren’t Island or something . . . sadly the majority of the PRO battle list is glutted with parkour, XP/BP, 999 drugfests, etc.

If I have a choice, I play CP, because it is more balanced / dynamic than CTF and unlike in TDM, kills are not the only objective. I also like RGB for similar reasons. But usually I just use quick battle because queuing for individual game modes takes forever.

I've been really attached to this idea for a while: damage is reduced by 20% and energy consumption (when attacking) is increased by 10%, but if your HP is below 40%, destroying a tank will return to you 10% of your total maximum HP (that way you can't be healed to more than 50% of your total HP).

Maybe, but the thing with Minecraft is that you can always roll back to an earlier version.

As GorgoBlesk likes to say, duplet has something like 35% more DPM (or DPS?) than stock. That's a problem. Notice how generally, if you have a turret that does high single shot damage, it has a long reload to compensate. Low damage per shot = high firerate + high DPM. High damage per shot = low firerate + lower DPM. In this case, duplet is pretty much a high damage per shot turret (the two shots really count as one shot), so it makes absolutely no sense for it to actually have better sustained damage than stock Hammer. Higher burst damage should be compensated with worse sustained damage.

world of tanks did not reach 1.0 release until recently, in 2018, yet it continues to be updated. similar story for minecraft, it got plenty of updates before and after 1.0 release (2011). TO had 1.0 release over 5 years ago.

> says that tanki should not update the game > uses games that have received regular updates for years as positive examples who made this video??
-
IMO the gap between firing the first and second shot for duplet needs to be longer, and once you press the space bar, both shots should be fired one after the other (can't fire each one individually). The clip reload time also needs to be increased.

How many entries were there?

Incidentally, Railgun and Magnum used to be "super killers."

Another "bump" to keep this topic from being archived . . . I have little motivation to work on this project, even though I want to finish it one day. Anyway, Zone has been updated! It now features drop zones and updated steel tower and watchtower models. I've also added some background sound (battle ambiance from Tanki) - tell me whether you'd like it to stay or not (volume can be lowered in the right hand corner of the window). The updated Zone. Old version for comparison.
