I feel like some Ultra skins (not all, but some) may get removed from Ultra Containers during some events.
-
I know XD - there's even a machine gun named Vulcan. But what about Thunder and Isida? And Magnum is well-known for being a revolver handgun - not an anti-tank artillery cannon.
-
The main reason why I used Striker was because Orka modules didn't seem to exist in Tanki at the time XD

Like what @Spinister said, the next possible sale will be the May Days (Or May Holidays as I call it) celebrations, which, if my memory is correct, should take place on the first week of May.

Patch notes: Striker reload time has been decreased from 2.2s to 1.7s and from 2.0s to 1.6s. Striker now deals twice as much damage on critical shots than on normal shots. I have three problems with this: Smoky was supposed to be special cause of it's critical hit. Without it having a unique feature, it's literally just an alteration of the other turrets and it's therefore not it's own thing. Striker was honestly very balanced. It didn't need a buff - AT ALL. Players only complain because it was hard to use. But once you could learn, than a Striker even before this buff was already far superior to it's cousin, Thunder, in terms of overall damage per second and total damage output. Why don't you guys NERF Gauss, Railgun, Magnum, Shaft, and Isida instead?????????? I'd rather have them get nerfed than having balanced turrets get buffed to compete against the overpowered turrets. It would make balance less confusing. Turrets that still aren't buffed (like Freeze and Firebird and Twins) will suffer even more cause of more overpowered threats they have now. If we buff the turrets without "freely" buffing defense for all players....then we'll all die faster in battles and thus we can barely do anything before someone one-shots us. I say "freely" because I know for sure the devs will add some P-2-W item that increases our defense.....yeah, NO. Either nerf all the turrets back down.....or give every hull a free health buff or something or else gameplay in Tanki will become stale cause all we can do is just shoot and kill players and that's it. Only those with Crisis drones or OP buyer stuff can do things such as capture flags and balls and capture points and such.

Striker Ultra is cool..... But where is my Striker HD?
-
If that were the case, than why didn't they name Firebird as "Flamethrower turret"? Or Striker gets named as "Rocket Launcher turret"? And Thunder's name doesn't even fit what it does - the turret has nothing to do with lightning, electricity, and Gauss itself sounds more like a thunderclap than Thunder does. Yeah, the new augment names are more straightforward.... But the old alterations just sound way cooler and the devs put more thought into naming them. Actually, if it were up to me, I would've named the Modules after the turret's respective XT skins. As in, whatever animal is represented by the XT skin, then it would also be the name for the module. So if that were the case, the modules would be named as follows: Firebird - Dragon Freeze - Mammoth Isida - Raven Tesla - ******** Hammer - Rhino Twins - Dinosaur Ricochet - Crocodile Smoky - Anaconda Striker - Goliath (or Eel) (or Serpent) Vulcan - Snake Thunder - Wolf Railgun - Eagle Magnum - Ram Gauss - Falcon (or Hawk) Shaft - Lion Mozilla Firefox

If there isn't..... We still got two guaranteed discounts coming soon :) 30% off sale during the May Holidays 50% off sale during Tanki's Birthday in June :D

1. 75% of the Striker Alterations follow the same naming pattern. In fact, the only alteration that doesn't follow the pattern (Remote Rocket Explosives) is the only one that doesn't affect Striker's salvo mode directly. 2. Giving half the turrets an Alteration/Augment with the same name is very uncreative. It also makes it look like the Augments were rushed out just to cash-grab on a brand new status effect. 3. Not all heat-based alterations/augments follow the same naming pattern. You'd expect them all to have "Incendiary" in the name, but Hammer's fire alteration is named "Dragon's Breath" (very awesome name by the way). And Firebird's Incendiary Mix isn't even a burning alteration XD. Basically.....it doesn't have to follow the same naming pattern for the status effect. It would however, be nice if it followed the naming pattern based on the turret (like Striker's "Missile Launcher X" alterations or Shaft's "X Capacitors") 4. To add on the third point...Smoky's stunning alteration isn't named "Stun Rounds". Its named "Paralyzing Rounds". Sigh.... I'm not gonna lie.... In my opinion, Lightweight Ordinance Autoloader sounds way, way, wayyy cooler.

Striker's AP Missiles Augment Should be Renamed
Tanker-Arthur replied to Tanker-Arthur in Striker's AP Missiles Augment Should be Renamed Archive
The augment for Striker named "Armor Piercing Missiles" should be renamed to "Missile Launcher 'Hornet'". This is because it's name would fit better with the rest of Striker's Augments (except for Remote Rocket Explosives). Additionally, Hornet was the first time we ever saw the armor-piercing effect in Tanki, so it should be a fitting name (also cause we already have Missile Launcher 'Hunter', which shares it's name with the medium hull) The only downside I see with renaming it is that newer players may not know exactly what it does..... Then again, newer players probably won't know much about the armor-piercing effect in general anyway. Also, Missile Launcher "Hunter", Missile Launcher "Cyclone", and Missile Launcher "Uranium" have become iconic nowadays even if they don't use down-to-Earth names so I don't see why we should not rename Armor Piercing Missiles to Missile Launcher "Hornet" or another "Missile Launcher" themed name. We all associate "Hunter" as the one that shoots salvos fast but with only one missile. We all associate "Cyclone" as the one that shoots eight missiles and is so satisfying to use. We all associate "Uranium" as the one that shoots the heavy and slow missiles. So in time, we'd associate the augment with "Hornet" in it's name as the one that inflicts the AP effect....right? Also, in the past, we have had alterations/augments that were renamed. You guys know Large Caliber Rounds for Railgun? It used to be called "High Caliber Ammo". And Subcaliber Rounds for Thunder was, believe it or not, originally released with the name "Armor Piercing Ammo". ? -
Question for the "Ideas and Suggestion" part of the forum.
Tanker-Arthur replied to Tanker-Arthur in Archive
Thanks very much :D -
Yes Yes, because it's way more effective than my Firebird due to its absurdly high 1150 DPS Before Gauss and Hull Augments, I used "melee" turrets all the time. However, I'm mainly forced to switch to Striker because...well, the long-ranged turrets are all too OP and Vulcan is being abused with Heat Immunity. "Melee" turrets (especially Firebird) are almost unplayable in much of the matchmaking maps today. Too bad it's not 100% of the players. For one, I barely play with Railgun, Thunder, and Gauss. They're cool turrets but I never found them fun enough to play in my opinion. Only reason why I have Railgun Mk7 right now is because back in 2017, it's M2 version unlocked super early and I bought it so I could have an edge over the people who still have M1. So might as well upgrade it or else I lose several ten-thousand crystals. Since the developers seem to want to implement skins from Tanki X, I believe the latter half of 2021 or 2022 will probably be devoted to making new skins for stuff like Railgun, Thunder, Vulcan. And maybe 2023 is gonna be devoted to making HD versions of stuff like Railgun XT and Thunder XT. So it'll probably be 2024 by the time the developers get back on track and release skins for turrets they forgot about. Of course, these are my predictions by the way. I believe Prime AND Ultra skins were added in 2019 but yet, we haven't even finished any of those series and the developers are only finally going back to Ultra with it's 5th turret, Striker. Based on this rate, I predict we'll probably get Ultra skins for all turrets by....2025. And with HD skins and Tanki X skins coming, we'd probably see the last turret to get an Ultra skin actually get it's Ultra skin sometime in probably 2026 or 27 or later.

It is because of players like you which is the reason why Thunder has 5 skins and Isida only has one (plus the default). ?

Question for the "Ideas and Suggestion" part of the forum.
Tanker-Arthur replied to Tanker-Arthur in Question for the "Ideas and Suggestion" part of the forum. Archive
Are we allowed to suggest ideas to rename items? Because I know we aren't allowed to suggest ideas about increasing the economy, reverting to a previous state of the game, refunding items, discounts, and other stuff. But it was never specified if we could suggest ideas to actually rename items in Tanki (By renaming, only the name of the item is changed. It's monetary value and statistics will remain the same). For example, something like the following: So are we allowed to suggest things like that? -
They better do something or else I will forever live with the guilt of stealing 30 dollars off my dad's credit card.

FunFact: In a vlog released in 2017, they originally said they were gonna increase the number of maximum people that can be in a clan to more than 12.

valid Engineer drone and the nuclear dropbox

Crisis, Defender, Booster, Hyperion, Lifeguard, Blaster: "First time?" -
The critical damage update overall is a bad update. I hope it gets removed someday. This would've been the worst update in my opinion if we didn't have the even worse Hull Augments (2020), Augment system (2020), and Weekly Mission Container Reward nerf (2019) updates.
-
Huh, I'm also Legend 6 as well and also don't have a maxed drone ? What's up with that? XD We probably will have to wait till Legend 10 or 15 till we get to use multiple drones lol.
-
Congrats XD I've only managed to only get one drone to 10/20 in the past 9 months lol.
-
Hopper is less affected by impact force, and it's mouse control side-strafing abilities make it much harder to shoot at than a Wasp and Hornet. Hornet never even exposes itself much since a large number of people who use hornet tend to use it with Railgun and camp.
-
Developers: We'll put it in Ultra Containers to further decrease your chances of getting Exotic turret augments, Crisis Drones, and Armadillo Modules.

category Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!
Tanker-Arthur replied to Ilia.ArchangeI in Ideas and Suggestions
Or, how about we nerf the overdrives of Wasp, Hornet, Hunter, Viking, Titan, and Hopper? That way, we won't die as fast in battles and we'd get a chance to actually do something before someone one-shots us with an overdrive? -
review Alterations and Augments: Then and Now
Tanker-Arthur replied to Person_Random in Newspaper Archive
Not gonna lie, with the exception of the Railgun status effect augments and the critical damage update, Tanki seems to be going down a relatively "good" path with updates this year. I honestly hope sometime in the future, we will have the original Rare and Epic Augments/Alterations have their original 2018-2020 prices again (20,000 - 235,000 crystals) If Adrenaline stays, it can retain it's 245,000 crystal price. And it would be so cool if the premium alterations were added to the garage for the price of, I guess 300,000 crystals, to be fair. (Albeit Smoky's new alterations feel more like the 2018-2020 ones though) -
Pretty much XD Since Twins' plasma balls aren't as big as the Sun, then after traveling just a few meters than the balls cool quickly and seemingly "dissipate" into the air.
