Are you using the Flash Player 11.2.x ESR on Linux? Flash player version 11 is now outdated and having security loops, so first update it from genuine site. Best if you go through firefox plugin check and it will show which of plugins are outdated and give you installation related information. Note: Due to vulnerability firefox blocked it by running automatically on browser. So, run only when you know the website credentials . Crash due to Flash

Google has a long history of focusing on simplicity and user-friendliness, and as far as the logo goes, the new one does that nicely. It is definitely simpler (300 bytes vs the old 10 kilobytes), and it is easier to read on small screens. It looks clean. I like it.

You are repeating your previous words. In my second reply posting to you, I myself said that my theory may be far-fetched. And that's the only thing we both agree. :)

I've done a bit more digging around. There's a Preview version around that likely contains bugs. It would do to get a feel of Win 10 for those nervous about the differences from their present version. I've reserved a copy of the Upgrade. My plan is to first install it on a netbook I don't care about. I'll use it for a week or two then decide if I want my main desktop to work the same way.

I upgraded it and everything went smoothly. I'm not a big fan of the new borderless windows. I like the look of Win 7 better.

You may be correct. Microsoft started giving away Millions of free Windows 10 Upgrades. If millions of Users start doing what you are doing (disabling those privacy options); what do think Microsoft may start doing?. Well now they already know who is responsible for their revenue lost. It's you and the other Millions. Maybe, just maybe to punish you and the other Millions, for example, Microsoft may make sure you and the other Millions, let say, perhaps you and them will no longer receive important updates, or create some sort of inconvenience for you and them for your system not to properly work. I know this is farfetched, but Microsoft has the knowhow to do it. And you and them will never know what hit you, or maybe realize it . Something to think about!!. That's why I mentioned "Later on you will realize what you have done".
