    Goodbye, Flash!

    Just saw this news now and want to say, RIP to Flash... The best version of the game. I've hardly played due to their silly changes anyway, but I wish I could have played with Flash one more time... :( You won't be forgotten.

    I'm just telling you that other games wouldn't do this. If they truly had no choice then what they would do is wait for Flash users to migrate, and at least make it usable. Not having a no damage error and fix.tankionline.com not helping. Instead of also restricting features like we're their experiments. I don't know what it is with these lot, but when the wrong group of people have a good idea, this is what happens.

    They don't care about their loyal player base at all. Probably because they don't even read the English Forum as much (if at all) The fact that they contemplated pulling the plug on the only proper client in the game shows that they'll probably start advertising / maybe revamp their affiliate system You guys honestly need to wake up. The point of HTML5 is to attract new players, it has been implied that most of the players don't even engage with the forum, as you can see in the last couple of years views for the News Section have gone down considerably. They already know a lot of the existing user base is leaving anyway, and from the VLOG's they'll be creating new maps, hulls, turrets, etc. To revamp the game.. This is where their buyer community lies, who have no problem with migrating and buying as much as needed. The only thing the developers care about is money, and if user enjoyment / new players is the way to do that, they'll do it. The only reason Flash functionality hasn't been completely terminated is to probably milk as much money out of players as possible. It's a shame the game has to be run by incompetent developers, but I have had a lot of good times in the game.

Not because it was an improvement. It is the same thing with HTML5, it is supposed to be better, but NO ONE WANTS IT! Once they have enough, they'll just pull the plug. This is just another 'game' for them, don't think @Marcus or the developer team actually care about you when you can see how they are making players feel in game and on the forum, he is there to do a job and will leave the moment he feels like it. Haha I really wonder when they'll disable the shop. Maybe that should be next on their list. We'll see if your predictions are correct.

    Who said they want 100k players online? Those days are gone. The developer team had something to with that. They are hardly willing to make any compromises whatsoever, and probably disregard suggestive feedback on updates other than bug fixes and ideas / suggestions. We can see where their business choices / decisions got them with Tanki X. Tanki is not a console game, no one asked for an interface upgrade. It's more than obvious it's for your business agenda. Solution - Flash like interface in HTML5 before it's working properly. Old players will appreciate it, it's the least you can do. It was money well spent up until this current period. The best option probably is for the game to be sold to developers / a management team who know what they are doing. In a couple of months when their user base gets shattered maybe something will enter these impenetrable skulls to release a retro interface / Flash like graphics and menu. Maybe modify the way the camera works a bit as well. It's like someone taking the iPhone you've been using for years and forcing you to accept an Android phone, with all your data gone. I'd say each factor is only as important as the potential bottleneck - good CPU, bad graphics - bad performance, bad CPU - good graphics card probably shaky performance as well. So many modes to choose from ? Thanks for removing this option from Flash, makes it easier to get straight to the gameplay.

    I'd say maybe 50 - 100 - But Tanki developers would have had their consciousness transferred to machines from all the money they make exploiting players, so maybe never.

    Honestly I think this is the best solution. Flash users should be left until the time comes. Forcing players to move is just ridiculous. @Mr.Nibbles doing damage control for them as moderators / helpers always do.

    @Marcus and the team he represents just have no respect for the players, honestly. There is nothing smooth about this, even in the article it says you're trying to force us to move. Stop telling lies, now. Even saying this just shows the thought process of the developers. Add a retro / flash like interface and try to integrate that into the graphics / camera movement like flash, or also add incentives like a free XT skin or something to entice players. You hardly respond to any player posts like this one, I am seeing only 2 responses in the topic. HTML5 is indeed the future of gameplay, but it is not feasible to use and has reduced my gameplay massively because I have lost supplies and am not doing missions there currently. Most of the community left after flash is gone will probably be new players and 1% old players, so I would honestly get to that advertising as you mentioned in previous VLOG(s). Selfish noob developers.
  9. If the pop up is not aimed at us, then why is there no option to cancel it, or dismiss it? There is nothing gradual about this transmission process. If you can, tell the developers to stop telling lies in the previous VLOG's. Why can't there be an option for a retro interface? Haha honestly guys, there are better games you can play. I think two of the reasons why I'm still here personally is: 1. Never had a PS4 / Xbox, but Tanki normally runs well even on office PC's so I am able to play. I would have loved to try games such as GTA 5, maybe FIFA with friends. Even GTA 4 I tried it but it wouldn't run well on that laptop ? Honestly PC gaming looks like the best option due to the shared TV. 2. Like others, been here for about 7 years surprisingly. I do genuinely like the game and always want to improve my skills. If not for these 2 reasons and mostly reason 1, I would probably be on other games. Despite their terrible management, it is a good game to play and relax. How is it unstable in your opinion?
  10. I wouldn't expect anything much from devs / helpers, they can say they report bugs but don't have any ETA on when the big ones will be fixed. You can be waiting for months / years on end for functionality you are meant to have. Now flash is getting some weird error and I don't know why, both clients are bugged to be honest. But what do you expect from Tanki devs, they do things halfway.
  11. I don't consider forcing the annoying banner now inviting you to HTML5 to be welcoming and a 'slow transition'. For a client that doesn't even work, I'd focus on that first before inviting us to play on it. But Tanki devs appear to be devoid of understanding anyway, so no matter what you say here it won't be passed on to them mostly.
  12. Honestly, keep in mind there was no real reason to switch other than higher rewards. No one asked for HTML5, although I understand it is necessary for the games' progression. I think it is the future of Tanki. There is great potential here if done correctly. Everyone was already used to Flash, and the interface was decent. You should make a retro / classic interface for older players, and keep the new one for new players in game options. Now we have to move. I preferred the HTML5 version due to its useful features and modern look - no need for any downloads, but little did I know that it was full of errors. Find a way to make it as much as Flash as possible in the game settings. G button should take you into the garage, also for Flash the game thing, not just in battle. Most importantly - Make it work. Fix server errors and no damage error so fix.tankionline will not be needed as it's obsolete.

  15. Haha, reiteration is just going to be used. My core argument is perfect here. Later on will reply to an earlier post from wolverine, to put the Hornet haters down entirely here. Put the witty comebacks aside for a moment, and apply facts and logic to your arguments. Imagine if I just do the same thing to you and use my emotions, repeating save hornet and throwing insults. It won't make sense. We re not enemies here, it's just 2 sides of a coin. Hope you are not holding anything against me / us, but 'Murder Hornet' and previous reply to @Viking4s is suggesting something. This leads to more questions, if I was on your side I would think that this is enough. Questions - Does it include Overdrive kills and to what extent (Key for your haters - if this is high, then you have a good argument), does it include PRO battles, where supplies can and often are turned off, making for less variables and more fair conditions? How many buyers are in each category, and how much have they spent? How many drone users in each category, and what drone? If you think that data is enough to prove ANY point, you are wrong, friend.
  16. What app is this and how did you make it, by the way? Are you a programmer and what languages do you know? Very interesting. I'd like to see this data separated between Overdrive kills and non-overdrive kills, which the devs should be able to do.
  17. It just shows they have some hatred for the Hornet. No surprise whatsoever. First it's melee turrets, just anything that helps to give players an edge in gameplay. I would find ways to combat it, even having a Hornet I still have to face off against them. I won't complain on the forum like it's the end of the world, asking for a nerf.

I feel with all the new modifications, it is outdated in some ways.
  19. You couldn't have all 50% protection modules before. This is facts mate. They had different levels. They both have different use cases. You can't compare Wasp OD and hornet OD directly, but because you guys decided to do so, I engaged. I WAS NOT comparing the two directly. I was describing the use cases for wasp. Wasp OD is meant for a different style of play. If that is how you feel, ask for Wasp OD to be reworked to fit your argument. Titan is meant for defence, Hornet for attack, etc.. Different roles. All OD's have counters - killing the player. This is why Mammoth lost its invincibility, Titan dome lost its nigh - invincibility and can be killed by hornet / Wasp / sustained attack. That's only about 10% of total game time in a 7 min battle (approx). The players on your team are another factor in itself, blame their MM system, not the hornet overdrive. Think of this - All booster drones on one team with people with no booster drones on another. What will happen? it is more likely team one will win, as Booster amplifies tank stats making them able to take control of the game quicker. Same with hornet - A lot of hornets on one team (not the case) and none on the other and then you may face problems. Again, no statistics to back this up, but fair enough, I do accept that this may be true. Makes a lot of sense. You are not dealing with the ordinary and there are more factors at work than the 'overpowered' hornet overdrive. The mod was being serious and mentioned are possible reasons as to why the hornet hasn't possibly been nerfed: Further reading: Depends on your team, hornet isn't the end all and be all as you guys make it out to be. Again, listing possible reasons as to why it hasn't been nerfed, don't want you guys to be kept in the dark and not apply logic. Worst which could happen is a slight debuff.
  20. Okay? What is legend toxicity? Legend is just a rank. Different ranks are limited to different equipment. So yes maybe spawn protection is needed in order to stop players from using these new tools in order to wreck total havok, but in the past it wasn't needed due to no drones, no overdrives, etc. Fair point, but depends on the game mode. In PRO battles / deathmatches, and more, the spawn protection is an annoyance though. A massive orange flare that makes you unable to see the tank for a few seconds is not distracting? Okay... Maybe it could be reworked, but it is definitely a distraction. Even with my hornet m4 + speed boost it is hard to get away at times from the bomb.. And I still get killed. Without cover, what you are saying is false about ignoring the bomb. Actually yes, you can ignore it, you just die a couple of seconds after. M2 hunter isn't so quick. These weapons are designed to do a high amount of damage in a short time of a few seconds. Shaft is relatively easy to spot, but shooting at it from the other end of the map presents a challenge sometimes as they can prepare their charge. Even if you get out at the last millisecond, a rail can still be killed by the shaft if their reflexes are good enough. That was never said in any person in questions' replies. I see @wolverine848 saying something similar. Who said that it was opinionated? Look at the post again, both of you. I ask you the same question about reading / literacy ability. What the moderator said in this case was fact. The moderators decide on their own what to nerf, we can decide to try and bring whatever into their attention. Good you agree. I said that as an example, a test to show that Hornet overdrive on it's own is not overpowered. Please read my above reply in detail. I didn't mean use it in every battle, just to test what I am saying as yes Hornet ignores protection, but only does the damage limited by the players upgrades. To requote the above: Using hornet OD on its own with bad equipment, won't do much damage. So no, Hornet OD on its own is not OP. It would have been nerfed by now. The only thing I see happening is slight debuff if at all.
  21. What is your definition of a few? I mean since the paint separation update in 2017. There used to be no spawn protection whatsoever, spawn killing was native. Should be brought back personally. Honestly, it's a powerup, so what do you expect. Hornet haters' true colours are coming out. The overdrive was the final needle that surged it through their bones. Oh really? 10? 50? Haha. Give an exact figure because that depends on multiple different factors, such as the amount of kills, which ties into player skill, etc. If they have the drone which speeds up overdrive, which, bearing in mind all drones can be hidden in game settings. I doubt you'll have the time to check each players profile, not all of them show their drones. A wasp can use it's OD from any range. It acts as a distraction and stops enemies from getting near if timed correctly. Users can use whatever turret they want to, but I use a different combination of melee turrets and also now Railgun among others, my choice. That is just a feature of long range turrets, they don't need to charge into battle, nothing to do with the overdrive. As long as they come out of their protection or peak through a gap they will be in danger, as they have to shoot. No statistics to back up the 75% figure, so no, I do not believe so, thank you. Why am I not surprised? As explained: Anyways in case that went over your head (expression), Magnum is a high powered weapon. Most weapons at M4 will have high damage. What I said is true, as already explained by the moderator in a previous comment: "If there are 5 players who want Hornets OD to be nerfed, there are 15 who don't. Just because those 5 players think that it is OP, does not mean it is and it needs to be nerfed and there is no reason why it shouldn't. However, developers themselves decide whether or not nerf or a buff is necessary." Not saying the developers are all wise, either, they make mistakes and don't normally own up for them. But they have access to the data to make the necessary decisions, for their own selfish interests, and game balance. So, because you think it's overpowered or I think Viking is OP and a considerable threat in multiple game modes, doesn't mean it is. The factors mentioned: are what really makes it OP. If not, try putting on an M0 and hornet overdrive, no DD or upgrades for a test. Editos - I am not arguing to stop Hornet from being nerfed, developers have their own agenda confirmed by a moderator / helper and you can see where that has lead. I am arguing because after using Hornet I have the knowledge of the overdrive and game factors to say, no, hornet overdrive is not the source of all of your problems, as there were problems before it and there are other factors. If I didn't use Hornet and still had this knowledge, same argument would probably be made, and you would see on my profile 0 hours usage.
  22. When you say moving to HTML5, what does this comprise of? What exactly are they moving, and do they plan to fix key game bugs? Is there any sort of timeline?

    Best decision is to migrate by 31 Dec 2020, or hang in for a bit after that and see how things go. I've come not to expect much from these Russian developers. Hard working, yes, but definitely have an agenda. As a long time player one I have stuck with the game, but Old Tanki was once in a lifetime. Money talks, though and as you can see with Tanki X, everything they do is for the money. They are focused on new players which after HTML5 is actually working (if ever), they may start advertising for new players, maybe a revamped / refreshed referral system, because they have ruined the game for other older players hence the massive leaving. Before you'd get like 100k players online, but look now. Most of my friends list are probably gone. Ideas and Suggestions forum area when most of the ideas there are left in 'Under Consideration'. Read the below and others. Deffo better games to play with developers that listen.
