What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
The-Operator219 replied to Maf in Game Discussion
It's funny how a Titan like me often is more aggressive than a Hornet or a Viking. It's almost like even the overdrives on those two encourage a passive, self-serving playstyle whereas Titan can hold the frontline and support everyone attacking and defending with it's bubble and massive health pool. Titan truly is a medium hull with diabetes. -
Vulcan: Lockdown mode +50% more impact force, no overheating. -50% less up/down auto-aim, cannot rotate turret while firing.

"noooooo you can't just enjoy the game" "haha, railgun go zoooooom pow" -
It's a really good support/defense build that can reliably damage people at any range, and people underestimate it because of some bizarre notion Titan is slow.

Thanks, I appreciate the actual advice instead of a soapbox about the state of the game. Second/Third time's charm. ?

So far the most fun I've had coming back from a long time being gone is playing Wasp with RGC Magnum. It's like Wasp-Railgun, but you can hit people behind walls and kill them instantly with a direct hit. I'd like to see this become the next official PRO format battle.- -
Howdy fellas. Some of you might remember me from here, I used to frequent the forums more than I played the game itself. I've been recently getting back into the game after kind of following it for a while, and so far I've been liking the new MK1-7 system because it encourages more diversity in your garage without worrying about your gear being underpowered. However, I may have gotten a little out of hand with buying turrets and hulls on my alt here: https://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/HRT-219 I'm low on repair kits but have enough new toys to play around with to keep me satisfied for a while, so what I'm wondering is this: With my budget of 10 IRL dollars, should I get the battle pass and just tryhard until I have more stuff or bulk-purchase supplies with a ton of crystals? If it helps I mostly play on Sunday/Monday since I have work the rest of the week and I'm usually too busy to play.

Wasp: "Deep Cover" +May randomly spawn on the enemy team's side disguised as one of them -Attacking, using supplies, being hit by enemy attacks, or doing anything with the objective drops the disguise and marks the user through walls for five seconds =User is unaffected by teammates' shots (May tip off the enemy)

How to easily win Juggernaut 101: Step 1: Own both Wasp (Any MK, higher preferred to avoid multing) and Magnum with RGC alt. Step 2: Spawn in, use Speed Boost. Step 3: Find/Use DD on your way to the enemy Juggernaut Step 4: Direct hit with DD equipped Step 4.5: If available (Very likely if you also snag some frags with the superior damage and ambush potential of this meta-shattering combo), use your Overdrive to ensure either the Juggernaut or their mooks die in the ensuing blast. Step 5: ???? Step 6: Profit! Extra tips: Ambushing and flanking are your bread and butter. Try to use the back of your hull to peek corners and catch groups of enemies by surprise. Release your inhibitions, forget your D/L ratio, and most importantly have fun!

Railgun: "Cerberus Mode" +Can load and fire three separate shots -Each shot has half the power of a regular round, must empty clip to reload, +50% longer reload speed

Smoky. Other turrets are quick and impersonal, but with Smoky you feel it constantly chipping away at your health through sustained focus-fire and dread the crits. Playing Smoky takes a certain commitment to killing everything you shoot at because of the low damage per shot, so every kill you get or death you receive feels personal and targeted. Plus I hate the sound, it's like some guy chewing croutons every five seconds and it drives me up the walls.

That's already a thing. Not in the way you're talking about, but the entire advantage to splash damage is being able to hit things behind corners and walls.

Thunder Alt: "Drill Bomb" +Fires drills which bore into the enemy then explode after they're dead, the more shots it takes the higher the damage (Caps at 300, 50 per drill). -20% less damage, pre-death shots deal no splash damage. Unlock rank: First Lieutenant Price: 500,000 crystals Description: Many a tanker have looked upon their Thunder and thought "This is good, but what if it had more boom?". With this alt the regular HE rounds are replaced with a special smart drilling shot that detonates after successfully destroying the enemy, sending shrapnel made of their own hull flying everywhere and detonating their fuel and ammunition. The lowered individual shot damage is traded off by the larger explosion it generates from all the bombs you fill the enemy with.
