As it stands right now there is not much stealth tactics in the game, just brute force and titan domes. We need more mechanics like this that make stealth/positioning viable, especially for melee range turrets. Maybe a radar/audio block so it's harder to know who's around the corner

I suppose Harpoon still has its use for reducing self-splash damage, but otherwise AGLM/Hopper is much more versatile with the elevation changes and faster charge. On hover hulls especially it's annoying to fight enemies on higher elevation with the horizontal alts... Horizontal rotation is quite relevant for the tracked hulls, but on hover hulls with significantly reduced tilting the vertical alts bring another level of flexibility when fighting on lower elevation/from behind cover. Besides, the strafing and rotating already does the job of the horizontal alts without the turret overcompensation that happens when running into objects. The only time I would use a horizontal alt for magnum now is for Adrenaline/AP, otherwise AGLM/Mortar set to 3 deg on a hover hull with this technique will accomplish the same thing and more.

So you want to play Magnum on a Hover hull but you can't use mouse control strafing and vertical aiming simultaneously... (Even devs at one point said you can't do it, unless you want to drift around like crazy on keyboard controls!) SAY NO MORE FAM, DON'T LET YOUR DREAMS BE MEMES! Here is the secret trick to do it: Using this trick, you can equip Mortar/AGLM/RGC to shoot while running circles around people on Hopper/Crisis, plus you get rid of that awkward turret correction when you bump into stuff!! Most importantly, you get to use the vertical alts the same way as the horizontal ones, but with their bonus effects and elevation adjustment!! I have yet to see anybody but myself use this workaround to great effect. Maybe it will get patched, but until then, have fun!

Yes, there is indeed nothing wrong with having promotions to appease F2P to stay. TO's recent decisions since fully dropping flash have been reasonably tame, arguably positive even for the common tanker. However... I haven't forgotten this game's track record over the years of dropping fly traps that inevitably stir forum uprisings sooner than later. Gambling with tankoin-tainers, for one. Then Ultra Containers with paywalled equipment. All optional, all earnable through missions, all the same drop rates whether buyer or not. Yet the imbalance is still somehow there, when fleets of Hopper-Crisis-EM/AP turrets storm the matches... Now we have the revival of 70% sales. Surely a move that benefits everyone playing TO... except the ones who miss out on it for sleep, work, or reluctance to get on all fours and subscribe to TO's page feeds. For these tankers, they will wake up and find their peers fast-tracked 2-3 Mk levels up. But sure, there is still nothing wrong with having sales that YOU missed, because it benefit every other TO fanboy and youtuber. Yes, yes, TO is indeed getting fairer by the day. All who say otherwise are heretics, ingrates, and haters. Now, where is that Tesla turret, so we attentive tankers can Mk7+ it on release? Woe to anyone who sleeps on that sale ?

Anyone who can recall the duration of Hornet OD's conquest, introduction of EMP Gauss + Immunity, Booster / Defender rebalancing, and shameless bimonthly Ultra Sales coupled with Crisis Drone promotions will inevitably arrive at the conclusion that TO has abandoned all semblance of pre-2016 strategic play in favor of mindless, mobile blitzkriegs where offense is the ONLY defense, purely because of the fact that a dead enemy only deals 0 damage. So forget upgrading protection modules, maybe get your Mk7 hull to just 10/20, pay/hope for Immunity Augments from containers, and get stacking on your DPS with Mk7+ turrets and Drones because it will only go downhill from here. I think this guy is terribly misunderstood when it comes to defining a "beat up". It's not so much the placement on the scoreboard, but how bloody easy it is to get spawnlocked in Legend MMS battles thanks to *certain* drones and ODs.

Considering how fast most tankers ranked up to incompetence because of the summer boost, special event holidays, and premium xp modifier, I don't see why it's so hard to add a few more tiers of Legend to soft-distribute the MMS brackets (maybe every 5 Legend tiers, matches filled in descending order?). Besides, the game's competitive level jumps to the moon once you become a Generalissimo / Legend 1 because they get thrown in with Legend 20+, where almost every other opponent you face is a maxed Hornet / Defender / Booster. Not to mention these guys have had more money to sink into the garage for years vs. a newcomer to the "big boy league". And also, satisfaction for ranking to Legend? LOL. I guess some people's status matter more than everyone's gameplay. Either way, the game is virtually over at the highest rank - through achievement or landslide matches.
