Hornet is good. But we never know when the overdrive will get nerfed. And when tanki nerfs something, it is usually nerfed to the ground. As for turrets: i know for a fact that railgun is great with hornet and shell destabilization or large calibre rounds(if you have a highly upgraded railgun compared to others at your rank, i would go for destabilization) I myself am going to get firebird with compact tanks but i cannot tell you exactly how powerful it is now. I prefer hammer on medium hulls. and idk about smoky. but there has been a lot of discussion about smoky and its alts lately on the forum. look the topics up.

I think this is false. There is no double armor on juggernaut. A Magnum shot deals full damage with or without hornets overdrive. It is just cosmetic. I will verify again today to make sure and correct myself if im wrong. Edit: verified that juggernaut doesn't have double armor active.

Railgun with light hull is effective because you can hid behind a wall and pop out to shoot and go back behind it fast. Also, light hulls can maneuver easily. But the main reason now is probably because hornet has a very powerful overdrive that goes very well with railgun.

Hornet has the best overdrive. I will explain: 1) it can see through walls. And see enemies life bar when close. 2) it ignores every protection in the game. It ignores double Armor, it ignores protection modules it ignores Titan's overdrive and it ignores spawn protection (spawn protection is a new mechanism. It gives you 100% protection for a few seconds after spawning) The second point allows people to use turrets like railgun, Magnum and gauss( a new turret which can one shot a heavy hull with double damage and has a huge splash radius) and get garanteed one shot kills. There is no way to counter these people other than to kill them.
