The overdrives recharge in around 5 seconds. They are probably testing something related to overdrives

There is a memory leak of sorts. Watch you RAM usage. It will keep increasing as you play more battles. And finaly, when the RAM gets full, it crashes like what you have seen. The solution as of now is to reload the page after every few battles to clear out the RAM before it fills up.

It does actually increase the range of min damage but only by 10%. The main effect of the alteration is that the range of max damage is doubled. The general opinion about firebird is that the other 2 alts are much better. But I don't know about your case, since you are using ares.
