Interesting point. Presume that hull alt can be changed by going into garage and selecting different hull in-game. Use one hull to quash a couple of Gausses, then swap hull to deal with Firebirds, knowing Gausses will probably not bother.

That's the only explanation. I don't buy the "feedback will be passed on" when they say "we'll make changes to fix game imbalances" because if they actually read the feedback they wouldn't do something so stupid that would need fixing. Right now I'm past caring. The game I joined up for is dead.

You missed the point. Players without those alterations will get slaughtered. Even if you release them later, players will continue to get slaughtered until the day they open the right Ultra container. Don't you understand? Players won't stick around waiting for that day.

Well these hull alterations haven't fixed the wrong behaviour, has it? For a start, only players with Hunter get that "fix" (and only if they're lucky enough to open the right Ultra container). What about users of other hulls? We're currently screwed by Vulcan needing two modules, but so far we stay screwed unless we buy/use Hunter? Great "update fix." /sarcasm.

Eventually you won't need any alts, because there won't be any players either. It's probably the most monumentally stupid change Tanki have ever come up with. So bad that the only other monumentally stupid change I can compare it to is Brexit.

Thanks but I like that the arrow keys are far enough away from anything else for me to hit. In fierce battles I keep hitting Alt when firing (spacebar) and get locked out of tank controls (Alt + Spacebar is a non-adjustable Win shortcut). Not sure turret keys in the middle of a keyboard is a good idea with me...

I've always said, I use Plasmagun as a Splash&Dash. For close-in stuff it'll get you killed quickly. I make a dash towards the target while firing from about 10 tank lengths away (from that distance they don't seem to hear the shots). They usually don't notice until there is a large cloud of shots arriving on them, but Plasmagun are 250-damage per shot so not many needed for a kill. Pair it with a fast hull like Wasp and you can lay down quite a nice big cloud on them. ?

I think it's always been like that. I always have to buy 1,700 tankoins for 12.99 euros and buy 12 containers, leaving me with 100 tankoins I can't buy anything with except bloody coinboxes. grr.

Also, worth noting that some of us only don't turn turret because our keyboards won't let us (mine won't let me use spacebar to fire if moving forward and turning left) so we don't bother. However, that player who "can't turn their turret" may suddenly do so when they're no longer moving forward. ?

That works really well unless they're a Wasp and you're not a Hunter. I love dropping a bomb when they do that.

The only way this has any hope of working is if the odds of winning an alteration from Ultra containers is if the randomness is done away with. When you buy 12 containers and a quarter of them are Mines and the rest are common rewards, buyers like me won't ever buy them again. It SHOULD be: only ONE of each item in however many containers you buy. And INCREASE the chances of getting alterations in them. Of course, free players are still screwed because they won't even be buying, and they'll need to be lucky to catch a container in GB drops. Congratulations, I think you've just lost whatever player-base you had left after the last major rebalance mega-screwup.

They won't be in the shop. Watch the v-log. It states CLEARLY that all alterations will ONLY be in Ultra containers, that you either have to buy, or catch.

You'd need to be a RICH buyer. I bought 12 Ultras this morning and got common rewards. Someone else bought 75 and got just THREE decent rewards.

So PTB (PonyTail Boy) said they noticed modules against Thunder and Rail were unbalancing the game, so they decided to bring in this stupid hull alteration crap and move all alterations out of the garage and made them only available through Ultra containers..... Imagine you're a midrank player with not the best garage. You're now cannon-fodder to everyone who's got those alts from containers. Except now you mostly can't get them unless you either buy them, or are lucky enough to catch one in GB drops (good luck with that). See where I'm going with this, Tanki devs? Many players will just leave.

Not dissing your rewards..... but 75 boxes and that's all you got? For 75 boxes? Really low odds.
