No wonder the number of Tanki player is dwindling fast. That stupid banner that comes up in Flash and disrupts the game is a good example of not listening to their players. So many of us have asked to be removed because it serves no purpose other than to get on everyone's nerve. However, I think they do it on purpose because they have this misguided notion that if they pester us they will get rid of us on Flash sooner. Well, once Flash is gone, me and my friends are gone for good. So, be careful what you wish Tanki because soon you will be wishing that you had listened to us.

Add me to that list too. I made another post regarding shaft problems in HTML5. I have the same issues and I have missed shots that I very rarely miss. As it stands now, it is very difficult to play with shaft.

So, since I cannot get in the garage using Flash, I said I will give this HTML5 a chance. Well, the verdict is that is just as much as Tanki X was and soon I expected to go by way of Tanki X. Here are some problems I noticed: 1. On the logon screen, you cannot Right Click to paste the user name or the password. The Remember me box is checked, but it doesnot remember squat! 2. For some idiotic reason that only the dumb head designer knows, the supplies do not default to the numeric keypad like Flash did and the OD defaults to the Left SHIFT. So, I said OK, once I get killed, I will go to the options and change them. I did and went back to the game only to find out the hard way that while the settings have changed, the supplies are still activated only by the numbers above the keyboard and the OD is still the LEFT-SHIFT! 3. Of course the camera at long distance is as fuzzy as it can get, I guess they did not take it to the eye doctor to get some glasses! 4. And why on earth the music is on by default? Well that does it for me folks. I may not play the game anymore by I will be here reading and laughing at those who call themselves "developers" . I will also be laughing at the buyers!

Right! very nice! You can use Ares provided you can get in to your garage to change equipment and the game does not crash after you respawn! What a bunch of BS!

I have the same problem using Flash client. earlier I was able to play in one of my accounts just fine minus the really annoying popup. Now I cannot get in to the garage in 2 of my accounts. I too deleted the cache but no dice. I just think they do it on purpose so we can move on from flash now instead at the end of the year. Well if that's the case, I will just quit Tanki now. This game is not fun anymore and I think it is dying a slow death.

For that reason precisely are idiots! They want money I understand, who doesn't? But the way they are going about to get it is totally idiotic and they are losing players. I will quite once Flash goes away.

As far as I am concerned, when I spawn I get killed immediately by a hornet with od camped at the spawn point. Another great example on not very well thought out "feature". I am telling you that the idiocy of Tanki decision makers along with the developers incompetency makes this game almost unplayable. I understand that they want to move on from Flash but putting this pop up that takes up almost all the screen to come up everytime you enter a battle in Flash is beyond annoying. It is stupid not to mention a vile method to makes us give up Flash! Well, as soon as Flash goes, I am gone too. I will put up with the stupid banner until the end and I will keep saying that Tanki is a dishonest company run by dumb people who qualify to be village idiots. When I say to myself, they cannot be any dumber than already are, boooom they do something like this that brings the stupidity to a higher level! Also, I have noticed that once the battle is over, I get a message that says the timeout is nearly over and do I want to return to battle! Well duuuuuh! the battle just ended morons! What is the purpose of these messages other than annoyance? certainly they are not informative! However I have to give them credit for being very funny especially with that line about a "drastic reduction in crashes and critical errors"! That is hilarious!

The camera is not steady, it is very "jerky". If you use shaft and you go into sniper mode when you track a target the movement of the camera is nowhere close to the smoothness of the Flash version. In the Flash version if you track a target that is moving fast the camera moves smoothly and there is a very slight lag of the optics as you move the turret fast. In the HTML version the camera cannot catch up the fast movement of the turret and as result 9 out of 10 times I miss shots that I rarely miss in Flash. This makes it very difficult to play.

Very well said! I have said the same things many times over, but someone named Vikings4 keeps telling me I am wrong and that they have "fixed" the camera problems! Glad to see that I am not the only one.

I got a great laugh yesterday when I got this message and I decided to try again playing in HTML5 only to have the game crash on me every time I went to shoot! You see, i followed Vikings4 advice to give HTML5 a chance and that's what I got! Hahaaaa! Serves me right. I also laughed myself to tears when I read the line about the "drastic reduction in crashes and critical errors.' I said it before and i repeat it now and I do not give a rat's ass if I get a note telling me not to use "inappropriate language": When Flash is gone, I am gone. You are 100% correct that this message is insulting. It is not insulting that dumb idiots are ruining the game by telling us they know better than us who play the game on what we need, now we have to put up with garbage like this by people who try to justify idiotic decisions.

because I keep getting that stupid message when I log on to the game and I wanted to see if HTML5 got any better. Sadly it has not and it is not only these errors but also the behavior of the camera is horrendous. I noticed that on my Shaft in sniper mode, there is a slight twitch or tremor when I try to track a moving target which results in losing the target altogether. I find it difficult to play like that. Never had this issue with Flash. I understand the need to move on to a newer platform. However, this move was done half assed as I said to someone else in another post and now we are the free Beta testers for Tanki.

Right, so i waited about a minute and a half to get into a battle after I was timed out twice so I can fall in to a very unbalanced game with the only option to leave. Yeap, that's what I call waste of time. While there is no game that is fair matched 100% of the time, there are true matchmaking games out there where: 1. Every team starts the battle with equal numbers of players at the start of the game. 2. The rank spread is at the max within two ranks. I have a Tier 5 equipment and I have never played against opponents of Tier 7 or higher! 3. the equipment are matched evenly (you may have say a Russian Tank vs an American tank but they are of the same class. They may have modifications that you do not have (like better optics or better suspension or even better ammo) because they can afford to buy them and you do not. That's OK. After all, they do need to make money somehow and buyers will always have the edge. Nothing wrong with that! In Tanki however, the spread of the rank is ridiculous as it is the fact that you get dumped into a battle that ends within mere seconds of entering because the teams are so mismatched that the battle ends in to time at all! Apparently, a lot of the long time players of Tanki have taken your advise literally and they have left! Soon the only players left will be the Tanki developers and the few fools who have invested heavily real money.

What you think is a good reason or not for leaving Tanki is totally irrelevant and it does not negate the fact that Tanki has lost thousands of players and that it will lose a few thousand more. Before matchmaking there were over 50,000 players at peak times. When the atrocious "matchmaking" was introduced they we hovering around 30,000 at peak times. Once HTML5 was introduced it dropped to 20,000. Now that we are slowly forced to go HTML5 that is even worse than a cartoon game, i noticed 10,000-15,000. That is a very significant steady decline that denotes has one common denominator: players have realized that the game is getting worse with every modification that lead more and more to Pay to Win and eventually it will be Pay to Play. By the way, as I said before I was the head honco of IT for a billion Dollar company for over 30 years and I understand very well how decision are made and why and there is no reason for you to explain to me. On the outside, these decisions seems to have been made very hastily and by amateurs who have no idea how to run a sustained business. But I really do not care and the future of Tanki does not concern me. What I am trying to tell you and many have said the same thing is that Tanki the old days before MM was a heck of a game and now it is not. Cultural difference has nothing to do in the gaming industry. I play other games from other Russian and former Soviet block countries and have none of the issues that we have encountered with Tanki and the player base is systematically ignored. By the way, the Twins example is very relevant. Other games I play, once a feature is purchased, it stays with the equipment regardless of what changes they are made to the Tech Tree at a later time. I also have the option to buy and sell equipment modifications etc. What I am trying to tell you is that other games regardless whether they are direct competitors to Tanki are light years ahead of Tanki in giving their players a reason to stay and spend money by not forcing them to buy what they already bought but offering them enhancements to the equipment they already have. They also, FIX the software problem and they do not ignore them like Tanki does. Like I said before, i never had any issues finding battles in other games like I had in Tanki no matter what time I play. For your information, Matchmaking means matching an equal number of players at the start of the game, with almost equal ranks (within a range of no more than 1-2 higher) and almost similar equipment. I have never played in ANY other MM game where I was dumped in to a battle with a few seconds left to play, or i got killed as soon as I spawned because I was severely outnumbered. I hope you get my point and keep going trying to defend this mediocrity to people who do not understand how MM works.

How interesting! I have to get used to playing in HTML5! I wonder why I did not have to get used to play in Flash when I started playing Tanki or in HTML when I play games not named Tanki! But then again. As far as I am concerned, it is still a half solution that was rushed to production without any consideration for the players. Else you will not see all these complains over and over. Camera was improved? Maybe for you but for me there was no improvement. And really there is no point posting the same thing over and over. I just wonder how other games that I play manage to have BALANCED ranks and EQUIPMENT and we, who live in the USA, have no problem finding a battle to play every 30 seconds? Why is the number or players online at its lowest in a market the size of the USA alone? Makes you wonder huh? Yeah keep with options like the twins example i gave you and you say it is misleading. What is misleading is that twins DID not cause splash damage and that was added later. Why didn't they leave that alone and then just add the augment of splash damage? Hmmmm. I wonder! Please do not try to justify the decisions of Tanki. Unless of course you like to justify decisions! The fact that so many players have given up on this game is a testament to the decisions. The worst is yet to come. Just wait for Flash to go away and you will have Lieutenants playing against Legends or else you will not find a battle to play!

The way I see it TO will nerf when they deem that sufficient have purchased the OP item. That's what they have done in the past and that's what they just did with freeze. They try to artificially create a market for items that are not selling well. Everyone had Vikings and Titans and they nerfed the Titan OD because everyone was using it to cap points especially in Siege where 3 titans with the self healing domes would be enough to cap every point on the map. They did this with the "augments" and you had to get them only through containers! That is you had a snowball's chance in hell of getting the augment you want for your turret! Even now I get "augments" for turrets that I have no intention of owning! In other words, I wasted my time doing missions to get 1 container to get some mines or speed boost that I have tens of thousands or worse yet an "augment" for a turret that I do not have. So, why not get a container that says "your choice of augment"? Or "Here is 250,000 crystals to be used for augment purchase"? But the dishonesty of Tanki is not limited to this. It started with the implementation of what they call "matchmaking" that is anything but matchmaking. Matchmaking by definition is matching like for like or almost like for like. That is players with almost similar equipment so no one really has a serious advantage over other players. That denotes both teams start with EQUAL amount of players. That is what other matchmaking games I play do. Tanki is a mismatch of ranks 4 or 5 or more different levels and worse yet players get dumped in to battles with little time left after having waited 2 or more minutes! I am sure that colones & Generals love getting pitted against Legends! I just pity those who have spent really money for this crappy game that used to be really good before some ruined it with their horrible decisions.

Might as well they have replaced them with Pokemon! Yeah There many posts there with ideas that would not even see the light of the day as usual with Tanki. The HTML version of Tanki you are playing is just a bastardized version of the Flash. The graphics, the camera movement and the overall feel of the game is not the same. Maybe to you it is, but them again as they say in my village: "simple things for simple minds"! I guess you have not been paying attention what the majority of the players are gripping about here or you just refuse to accept it. In either case, one thing hols steady: Tanki is losing players and wait to see what it would happen once Flash goes away. I have no problem with switching to a newer more flexible platform. I have been an IT professional for over 30 years and I understand the complexities of implementing something new. What I do not understand, i the insistence that this new HTML version of Tanki is something better that the Flash version. It seems to me that it was rushed to production by a bunch of amateurs that do not even know half of the capabilities of HTML5. And by the way, just because Adobe killed Flash it does not mean that everyone has to rush to implement half-assed solutions! The programming language Cobol (that I was using before the Tanki "developers" were born) has been dead for a long time, yet major banking and financing application are still running on it! But then again, I am talking about concepts you have no idea of! I was supporting a Novell network long after Novell stopped making major improvements on the networking OS, yet I was running a 1 billion dollar company on it! Yes, eventually we had to switch, but I did not rush to implement half-assed solutions that would drag the company to an abyss like Tanki is doing. So go back and play HTML 5 and let the rest of us complain about things you have no concept of.
