What you think is a good reason or not for leaving Tanki is totally irrelevant and it does not negate the fact that Tanki has lost thousands of players and that it will lose a few thousand more. Before matchmaking there were over 50,000 players at peak times. When the atrocious "matchmaking" was introduced they we hovering around 30,000 at peak times. Once HTML5 was introduced it dropped to 20,000. Now that we are slowly forced to go HTML5 that is even worse than a cartoon game, i noticed 10,000-15,000. That is a very significant steady decline that denotes has one common denominator: players have realized that the game is getting worse with every modification that lead more and more to Pay to Win and eventually it will be Pay to Play. By the way, as I said before I was the head honco of IT for a billion Dollar company for over 30 years and I understand very well how decision are made and why and there is no reason for you to explain to me. On the outside, these decisions seems to have been made very hastily and by amateurs who have no idea how to run a sustained business. But I really do not care and the future of Tanki does not concern me. What I am trying to tell you and many have said the same thing is that Tanki the old days before MM was a heck of a game and now it is not. Cultural difference has nothing to do in the gaming industry. I play other games from other Russian and former Soviet block countries and have none of the issues that we have encountered with Tanki and the player base is systematically ignored. By the way, the Twins example is very relevant. Other games I play, once a feature is purchased, it stays with the equipment regardless of what changes they are made to the Tech Tree at a later time. I also have the option to buy and sell equipment modifications etc. What I am trying to tell you is that other games regardless whether they are direct competitors to Tanki are light years ahead of Tanki in giving their players a reason to stay and spend money by not forcing them to buy what they already bought but offering them enhancements to the equipment they already have. They also, FIX the software problem and they do not ignore them like Tanki does. Like I said before, i never had any issues finding battles in other games like I had in Tanki no matter what time I play. For your information, Matchmaking means matching an equal number of players at the start of the game, with almost equal ranks (within a range of no more than 1-2 higher) and almost similar equipment. I have never played in ANY other MM game where I was dumped in to a battle with a few seconds left to play, or i got killed as soon as I spawned because I was severely outnumbered. I hope you get my point and keep going trying to defend this mediocrity to people who do not understand how MM works.

How interesting! I have to get used to playing in HTML5! I wonder why I did not have to get used to play in Flash when I started playing Tanki or in HTML when I play games not named Tanki! But then again. As far as I am concerned, it is still a half solution that was rushed to production without any consideration for the players. Else you will not see all these complains over and over. Camera was improved? Maybe for you but for me there was no improvement. And really there is no point posting the same thing over and over. I just wonder how other games that I play manage to have BALANCED ranks and EQUIPMENT and we, who live in the USA, have no problem finding a battle to play every 30 seconds? Why is the number or players online at its lowest in a market the size of the USA alone? Makes you wonder huh? Yeah keep with options like the twins example i gave you and you say it is misleading. What is misleading is that twins DID not cause splash damage and that was added later. Why didn't they leave that alone and then just add the augment of splash damage? Hmmmm. I wonder! Please do not try to justify the decisions of Tanki. Unless of course you like to justify decisions! The fact that so many players have given up on this game is a testament to the decisions. The worst is yet to come. Just wait for Flash to go away and you will have Lieutenants playing against Legends or else you will not find a battle to play!

The way I see it TO will nerf when they deem that sufficient have purchased the OP item. That's what they have done in the past and that's what they just did with freeze. They try to artificially create a market for items that are not selling well. Everyone had Vikings and Titans and they nerfed the Titan OD because everyone was using it to cap points especially in Siege where 3 titans with the self healing domes would be enough to cap every point on the map. They did this with the "augments" and you had to get them only through containers! That is you had a snowball's chance in hell of getting the augment you want for your turret! Even now I get "augments" for turrets that I have no intention of owning! In other words, I wasted my time doing missions to get 1 container to get some mines or speed boost that I have tens of thousands or worse yet an "augment" for a turret that I do not have. So, why not get a container that says "your choice of augment"? Or "Here is 250,000 crystals to be used for augment purchase"? But the dishonesty of Tanki is not limited to this. It started with the implementation of what they call "matchmaking" that is anything but matchmaking. Matchmaking by definition is matching like for like or almost like for like. That is players with almost similar equipment so no one really has a serious advantage over other players. That denotes both teams start with EQUAL amount of players. That is what other matchmaking games I play do. Tanki is a mismatch of ranks 4 or 5 or more different levels and worse yet players get dumped in to battles with little time left after having waited 2 or more minutes! I am sure that colones & Generals love getting pitted against Legends! I just pity those who have spent really money for this crappy game that used to be really good before some ruined it with their horrible decisions.

Might as well they have replaced them with Pokemon! Yeah There many posts there with ideas that would not even see the light of the day as usual with Tanki. The HTML version of Tanki you are playing is just a bastardized version of the Flash. The graphics, the camera movement and the overall feel of the game is not the same. Maybe to you it is, but them again as they say in my village: "simple things for simple minds"! I guess you have not been paying attention what the majority of the players are gripping about here or you just refuse to accept it. In either case, one thing hols steady: Tanki is losing players and wait to see what it would happen once Flash goes away. I have no problem with switching to a newer more flexible platform. I have been an IT professional for over 30 years and I understand the complexities of implementing something new. What I do not understand, i the insistence that this new HTML version of Tanki is something better that the Flash version. It seems to me that it was rushed to production by a bunch of amateurs that do not even know half of the capabilities of HTML5. And by the way, just because Adobe killed Flash it does not mean that everyone has to rush to implement half-assed solutions! The programming language Cobol (that I was using before the Tanki "developers" were born) has been dead for a long time, yet major banking and financing application are still running on it! But then again, I am talking about concepts you have no idea of! I was supporting a Novell network long after Novell stopped making major improvements on the networking OS, yet I was running a 1 billion dollar company on it! Yes, eventually we had to switch, but I did not rush to implement half-assed solutions that would drag the company to an abyss like Tanki is doing. So go back and play HTML 5 and let the rest of us complain about things you have no concept of.

I do the same thing as you do: do some missions, earn a few crystals and try to have some fun. I have no problem whatsoever with the game owners making money. I live in America and I believe in the capitalist system: make as much money as you can, but in an honest way. Tanki owners are dishonest because you do not get what you paid for. You by a twins turret that does not have self damage and then suddenly if you want that feature, you have to buy an "augment" worse yet all of a sudden the "augment" will be available only through containers. Because of the player backlash, they made them available again but now they cost 10 more! Actually the cost more that the turret itself! That is dishonest. They bring online this atrocity they call Matchmaking which is nothing but! Worse yet they refuse to fix it so at least the game will be level as far as the number of players and the rank spread. It is beyond idiotic to have colonels paying against legends! There is no point other than to force you to become a buyer of kits so you can even stand a chance against the legends! That is dishonest no matter how you slice it and dice it. All the changes they made are with the hopes that people would be dumb enough to fall for it and buy the stuff they are pushing. Now they are pushing the OP hornet, next they will Op something else. I remember when Firebird and Isida were OP, then they nerf them because everyone got them and the game was saturated and it was time to push something else. The tanki owners have a strategy but it is not working and that's why I say they are dumb. I remember once upon a time that we had so many choices of battles to chose from because there were over 50,000 players on at the same time and during holidays I had seen well over 70,000! Now, I see 10,000-15,000 topping at 25,000 to 30,000 on certain holidays! So, if they cannot see that they have lost so many players and they keep losing when they make these changes that no one wants, I can say with certainty, they are dumb! I understand the need to move on from Flash and I have no problem with that. However, what they have developed in HTML5 is not even close to what the Flash version is. HTML5 , they tell us, has much more flexibility, yet the games looks very "cartooney" and the camera behavior is so unstable and jittery that makes a lot of people dizzy and not wanting to play tha game. Yet, they have done nothing to correct that. I could go on and on, but what's the point? The people who need to listen, do not and will not. So when Flash goes, I am gone along with a lot of my friends who share the same views with me.

Like I said, I play for fun and I do not play very much. I cannot see your logic of them making money because I play against buyers. They may have an advantage over me but it is not significant as I can hold on my own even against legend noob buyers that do not understand how to play. Those stupid buyers will buy whether I play or not. The difference is that if us non buyers stop playing they will have a heck of a time finding battles to play and their waiting times are going to be even longer than now. I could care less if they make money of someone else. the bottom line is that they do not get MY money! feel free to buy as much as you want.

I understand. However every time you play an ad, Tanki is making money from that ad and I will not give them any income until they start listening to the players and fix their problems. In the mean time, I will either do the mission or I will sacrifice my crystals to change them, but I will NOT give them any opportunity to earn any money. These guys are just dumb and they pray on dumber people to make money. I play the game just for fun and when they kill flash, I am gone along with 7 other friends because HTML5 IS NOT fun to play.

This is made on purpose so they will not have to provide compensation to the 5,000 users that are left. It seems that it is stacked up so that only the Russian players will get the compensation because the rest of the world does not play on Russian time. I fail to see the purpose of placing such limitation on compensation other than the fact they hope that not everyone will claim it. It is the same when they raised the prices of the "augments" to be more than the turret itself! Also, it is the same reason they have the ridiculous missions and the high cost of changing them. How else they would force us to pay? Also,In their simple mind, they think that giving us an augment through a container, for a turret we do not have, we will go and buy that turret! As a matter of fact, a lot of Tanki decision makers would qualify instantly for the position of the Village in many parts of the world.

I play only flash as Html5 camera makes me dizzy. I get 4-5 "an error has occurred" messages every 10 games and I have to exit and get back on again which eats valuable playing time, especially when they went to 7 min battles. Yeah another "brilliant" idea from the clueless Hazel Rah.

Perhaps you should invest some time and see a therapist for that addiction! It will set you free of the evil clutches of Tanki crap.

My friend, there is no room in Hazel Rah's garage for secondary servers! It barely fits the only server Tanki has! That's also the reason for the severe lag we are seen and the high pings. The village in the 3rd world country where the garage is located has limited bandwidth. As far as solving this problem, it will take a while to gather the "developers" since they are scattered in the fields performing their primary tasks of feeding the goats and the chickens.

I guess the Politburo must think that we like playing 4 vs 7 in battles that end within mere seconds of joining by players 7 ranks higher than us! Now go sort that out and come back and ask us again how it is going!

I wrote about the Soviet mentality that Tanki arrogant developers have. the Russian people were victims of that mentality. You just figured this out? I have mention many times the Soviet mentality of Tanki: "we know what the players want better than the players themselves". Like when someone posted a picture of Hazel Rah and I said, using another account, that it belonged in the dictionary next to the words "arrogant" and "dumb as a rock" I guess I must have struck a chord really bad and they banned that account! Free speech is not in the Russian vocabulary since we are not allowed to express our opinion supported by some hard facts and probably they will ban this account too, but hey, I do not care, soon they will have another sale to compensate for their inability to fix the errors (an error has occurred!) and the dumb ideas they come up! yeah, i like very much getting dumped into a battle that is so unbalanced that ends within a few seconds of joining! if this is not dumb, I do not know what is!
