Oh now that I read it again, this seems even more stupid than it already sounded. So imagine sitting there across and you spot an enemy at the other end of the map, usually as a shaft you'd take your laser out of hiding and aim and you're done. But now, you have to put that laser on the enemy and hope they don't notice while you do 1, 10, 15, 20, 30 dmg to them OVER TIME and have it planted on the enemy if they do start moving, and if they manage to shake you off you have to point the thing at the enemy again and start all over from 1 :rolleyes:

Even still, I think having a laser that deals constant dmg is useless, a laser that you can shoot and do burst dmg would be better, but that's railgun. So this idea is still stupid.

This is a stupid idea, imagine just sitting there trying to hold ur laser on an enemy for 11seconds in a game where movement is key. You would never get a kill.
