Are you using gauss thats lower than mk7? If so it gets better. Mk 7+ gauss has an absurdly fast lock time.

Please re-vamp thunder and isida GT. The default skins for those turrets look exactly like the GT skins. Imo makes the GT skins unworthy to be separate skins.

Just get gauss protection (one of the most common protections i see) 95% of ppl i see already have emp immunity or ap immunity so that negates gauss's strongest augments. Thunder's crystal augments are not up to par but yes like others said, its premium augments are able to make it more relevant nowadays. Hyperspeed rounds and vacuum rounds are insanely powerful. Even 50% protection means nothing against them if they are used properly. Tbh i could care less if I was hit by a gauss with full protection against it Also if you spawn in a open map with great gauss potential, you dont have to suffer through the entire battle, just leave and find a more suitable map

Shaft is fine. Its still too easy to get kills with it. And it for sure does not need critical damage on its sniping shots.

Yw, well in that case, if you are playing on an alt, you can get the db aug. It kind of sad to see such a huge difference in the meta gap between low and high tiers. Its just the fact that standard augments lose their effectiveness at the high ranks. If you find a certain aument you are using lose its effectivenss its not your fault, its the devs for continuously adding overpowered equipment to the game completely ruining the f2p experience. Anyways, sorry for ranting. Good luck regarding your choices.

Understood, I would stick to a turret or hull combo and keep grinding it out to mk8. At the rank of legend you will see a lot of pay to win people and in some battles, it will be almost impossible to reliably get kills. And mk7 un upgraded equipment might not even be enough. So just pick a combo that you really like: isida, viking. and grind it out. No I would not buy dragons breath since heat resistance greatly negates its effect and a lot of people have heat immunity. Dont waste your crystals on augs for now but use them for upgrades.

If you are thinking of any augments under legedary, I would opt for none of them. Hammer simply isnt good enough without these premuim augments and there are loads of people with hammer protection. Tanki has become crap lately regarding wepon balance in high ranks so I would tell you to steer clear from the turret unless you have a legendary or higher aug.

So when was the last time you played? Crisis most definitely isn't a load of crap. Seriously, people already know how to conserve crystals and save in tanki. Its not just you. I myself is trying to focus on one combo and upgrading it to the maximum. And I have about 2million crystals left. But honestly who gives a crap if someone else wants to invest in loads of other combos? It all part of enjoying the game to its fullest despite the game being terrible atm.
