I was on the fence about it, so I didn't get it. I got M7 Freeze for the AP augment I've got instead by an earlier recommendation. It hasn't been performing very well with Dictator; very disappointed.

how do you get legendary augments? surely you don't have to spam open containers???

Considering buying Hornet M7 as it's the only hull I have with EMP Immunity and I can't stand EMP anymore

Good move on making containers guarantee a rare and an epic. This will encourage more players to buy them from the shop as you'd feel you're getting something worth your money. It's a win-win for buyers, free-to-play players, and developers.

I didn't know about the nerf, actually. I've been playing Hopper Lightweight on test server, and I've never been flipped by shot impact. I've flipped running into hillsides though. Yeah, even without impact, it can be difficult to land upright using OD. You have to slowly drag your mouse which could land you off target. I was thinking that Hopper was the best flag running hull because you could hop over obstacles and minefields... I don't know anymore. ?

You're not the first to say that Hopper is unstable -- can you please clarify? Are you talking about flipping off ledges? Inertia? Knockback?

M7+ Hammer /w max Brutus & DD vs medium hull /w 50% prot & max any drone takes 5.5 shots if I calculated correctly, meaning I'll need help no matter which I choose. Wouldn't it be better to theoretically avoid reloading my clip entirely than have 2 more shots in a clip if reloading my clip is getting me killed? Interesting debate... Hmmm...

After multiple games with Hyperspace on Test Server, I've come to the conclusion that it's just incredibly difficult in practice to use its penetration to warrant a purchase. Hammer AR was very strong -- reload nerf is noticeable, but not a problem.

Vulcan SSR really isn't bad either; just quickly stop firing and start shooting again to reset the overheating meter almost instantly. Who needs Fire immunity?

Yeah I knew that, but I was thinking for CP/Siege/ASL and sometimes RUG when I need to be more aggressive for the objective and getting into close encounters with multiple enemies. I know Hornet's OD is very powerful, and I just unboxed EMP immunity for it, and it works well with Freeze/Hammer/Striker, but of the light hulls, it's my least favorite to drive... It's still a consideration for purchase though. As F2P, supercharge is my pocket Booster drone. Similar thing with Hyperspace to Hammer AR -- it's good for CP/Siege/ASL and sometimes JUG where I need to get multiple players off an objective, just done at a longer distance. Though, I was highly considering buying Cyclone for my Striker which could fulfill a similar purpose with its splash damage... Yeah it's basically stock Rail if you don't penetrate any tanks, but as I said, I like to follow teammates up the battlefield, so I think it's not as niche in my case... Costlier option to MU Rail.

I'm struggling with close range combat; I get caught reloading my Hammer M7 often. I could a) buy a melee turret, or b) buy either High Cap or Adaptive Reload augment. a) Freeze or Tesla? I have Freeze AP & Tesla Adrenaline. I'm leaning more towards Freeze as AP to disable protection and freezing effect to disable DD is a wombo combo. Dunno if either are good with Dictator and Mammoth though. I'm F2P, so choosing this option is more costly as I'd need to MU it. b) I think Adaptive Reload is more promising than High Cap, but I'd like to hear your opinion. Choosing this option is the cheaper solution. Also do you think I should buy Rail & Hyperspace? Do you think it'll get nerfed? I've got a supportive loadout; I've been basically following allies so I think it'd be a good match with my playstyle -- plus I don't have a long range turret yet.
