Seems like it's a bug, same happened with me, you just need to join battle again and it will load you in.

You can find out what they changed with Tank controls in V-LOG 165.

In ASL there is also a flag so why wouldn't it count? I haven't tried it myself but I heard it does work.

Yes, it's very needed since twins have splash-damage which is pretty annoying for close range battles, when I got Minotaur in my alt acc I also bought the alteration right away too.

Check your keybinds in settings, maybe you have it on some other number, if not try bind some other key for gold.
