I don't think every turret requires the same learning time, or maybe it does for some. It's true that you can destroy other players from long distances and remain almost hidden, but the same goes for the Scorpion. There are other turrets that can temporarily hide before firing. I use the magnum and I also happen to be destroyed by another player with the same turret. But I don't care about that too much, I'm a casual player and if one day this turret is nerfed, well, sooner or later they will. Personally, I use this turret because I prefer a quieter style of play, without the need to be constantly moving. But I understand very well those who have a style of play that is the opposite.
