  1. Sad to see that too! Forum boards had been treated as a thing of the past since now we got Reddit as its trendy replacement, this place used to be quite active

    Let's Creativity

Lovely pieces of art! I really wish I could know how you make those
  3. Ahhh, back when creepypastas were a trendy thing and they came up with this lovely character and yet it still works!

fps drop (it's not just me?)

I had, too many objects trying to be processed! Possibly lowering your graphics quality + closing other programs would help to improve performance a bit, else upgrading your computer (but that would be an expensive approach but useful)
  5. I really hope they do, part of the classic memo was to bring back the older version, but around that time we also had unique once-in-a-lifetime maps like the 2012 New Years map and the Halloween maps (excluding the graveyard map), including others like Train Station that were never returned back into the server Plus the fact that new maps kept appearing almost each month back in 09-11 and the interest many had first time playing on them, that is another factor that isn't considered much nostalgia-wise, and I hope (if it ever happens) they add newer stuff to keep players excited!
  6. But wouldn't it be better to have newer maps, just like when mapmakers were around that classic era?
  7. I'd be happy if they added new maps into it... I'd be thankful on helping them with new ideas
  8. Amazing VLOG! Will Platform make a return in Tanki Classic? ?
  9. They look really cool! sure would fit as little collectibles
  10. What was their motivation to add older maps like the original Madness map and Iran Winter?? Quite a great surprise!!
  11. Amazing! Is there a remastered version of Rio in the works? Would love to see it in the game!
  12. Love the progress on this project, keep it up!!

    Cosmonautics Day 2025

Hopper + Railgun is really fun to play with!! Been enjoying such gamemode lately, only a slight downside are missing border markers on all maps, that way we can tell how high we can reach or which areas are meant and not meant to land at (possibly a custom sprite, like a floating signs just like the red skull signs, would do the work)

Metro ― Map Photo Showcase This showcase was done using ThirdOnion's MapViewer, as well as using a modded AlternativaEditor "Metro" is a large map featuring a two-level design, capable of hosting up to 28 players in total! It was created using the 3rdLibrary (also known as 'Urban') propyl, featuring a fragment of a metropolis-like city skyline filled with semi-destroyed buildings of varying sizes, colors and designs, all encircled by a pavement-ed, abandoned road that stretches through the whole map. At its center you'll find elevated road bridges overgrown with vegetation on it, providing a place to spot enemies on either side of the map, as well as offering hiding spots underneath. On opposite ends are elevated bases decorated with a quite unique mix of dirt and concrete tiles, surrounded by bushes and thin platforms, offering players multiple access points. It is found right behind all buildings, offering players an extra layer of protection against flying projectiles and long-range attacks. Beneath the city lies the Metro station, abandoned and surrounded by darkness due to a long-standing blackout. It is accessible through four main entrances, connecting to a platform from which you can choose to enter each side of the station through four passages. A railroad system can be found at its center, as well as a pedestrian bridge originally intended to switch train directions. Two additional 'secret' entrances to the train's tunnel can be found on each base, giving it a total of six entrances to the lower layer. Both sections were carefully connected to give a seamless transition between the urban city layout and the neglected abandonment train station. The lower section was originally made back in 2022, thus leaving the top section unfinished. It has been a tough process to finish this map, specially with the limitations the original editor had, that's why I had to split the map into two maps, one being the 'Metro' bottom layer part done three years ago and the 'Skyline' top layer being started on early January 2025. You can check the photo showcase below, feedback is welcome!

Silence Remake ― Map Photo Showcase A tribute to former mapmaker Figishe and originally created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Silence's release, "Silence Remake" is a medium-sized map designed to hold up to 20 players! Designed using the v1 (also known as 'Industrial') propyl, this map was rebuilt from scratch, incorporating elements from the presumed 2009 demo map and earlier iterations of the map such as Silence II and its later revamped version. This remake adds finely industrial-inspired details while preserving the iconic essence of the original card. Main features of this version include an expansion of the tunnel with a new entrance near the white tall tower, additional obstacles that serve as defensive structures, a bridge that connects both bases, a hillside entrance on one side of the red base, and a cliff right on a wall of the blue base, directly pointing at the opposite side. "Silence Remake" was revamped to have a more industrialized modern design, to ensure a balanced gameplay experience by introducing more variety of obstacles and entrances to places. This map serves as an improvement and as a tribute to one of the most iconic maps in the game, adding and recreating elements from previous versions through the game's history.
