This is an awesome idea actually, I've seen people suggesting it almost a year ago. You should post your idea on the feedback site if you want it to get read by the developers. Mines should drop in supply boxes if you ask me, and do 3/4 of the damage of a normal mine (when pressing 5) So when you press 5, the supply-box mine will be activated. But you can also press 5 again instantly for the regular mines.

The biggest difference are the names I guess... I don't really know why there are clans, and teams both. I do think teams are basically 'clans for lower ranks'... on the other hand; some teams are full of Generallisimo's.
