Loving my Smoky M2 as well. Might actually make Tanki fun again.

I'd like to hear the opinions of people who own M2/M3 Smoky about it's current effectiveness against say Twins, Rico, and Thunder in Medium-Short range combat.

Tanki forums really suffer for this reason.. community care more about post number than quality. :(

You seem to be trying really hard to spam your posts. Does it really mean that much to you?

I use my M2 Dictator as a drug hull similar to Viking, but mainly for mining. It's difficult to push a Dictator barring your way to getting the flag, and with some MUs it can have a pretty comparable amount of hp to M3 Viking. It unlocks earlier as well, in comparison to M2 Viking.

Thanks for the response, already made up my mind for Inferno. Plus since Isida sales are few and far, I probably won't get that M3 for a while yet.

Inferno, Irbis, or Emerald? Garage of M3 Light Kit, M2 Rico/Fire/Isi/Dictator, and with Electra paint atm.

Pretty large chance that I'll miss the sale, but hopefully I can log on at the right time.

Starladder may work for MOBA games like LoL and DotA2, but for Tanki it seems to be tailored just for the Russian community and not the English community.

I bought it for the looks, and since I wanted to win duels against other Isidas. Though Irbis may be a better paint and is also aesthetically pleasing, Electra has its own place in my garage.

You receive them in daily bonuses. When else are you going to use them, other than for gold and parkour? If you're that stingy, just use a DP to destroy them faster, or even some mines. ._.

Thunder has gotten a pretty good boost as well. A M1 destroyed my M3 Hornet in 4 shots. Thunder would be a better bet in big maps with its range, just need to be careful with the splash considering new self-destruction penalties.

Personally I think that Hunter goes better with everything, but late unlock for M3 means everyone goes for Viking.

Wonder why Viking is so widespread, seems like the devs should nerf it.

Druggers are annoying, but they exist. If they ruin your battle, just leave. Don't waste more time fighting for a lost cause. I bought a kit but haven't actually bought crystals yet. Light Kit in the right map was very OP. Didn't use drugs until the very end to finish up the game. Had 1200 more score than #2.

Hornet+Rail, a combo which is versatile and mobile compared to Shaft, which is only for defense as it cannot move in scope mode.

Save for just Tundra if you want a good Rail protection paint, since Corrosion has insignificant protection for a variety of turrets. The Kit has unnecessary paints included to drive up the cost.

Sometimes I think Viking and Isida also makes a formidable combination, since the extra hp is useful when facing off against other Isidas and for generally longer survival.

True, but sometimes I see Twins who don't stop shooting for ridiculously long amounts of time. And Twins on a light hull seems like a bad idea, since you can't take advantage of your environment with peek-a-boo tactics with Twins, though outranging short-range turrets would be nice.

I was originally planning to get M2 Hunter, then M2 Viking, and now M2 Dictator. Seems I can't make up my mind just yet, so I will probably get Hunter from the new Medium Kit M3.

M3 over M2s, and especially since Freeze is so versatile. And even though Fire and Rico are considered OP now, who knows when they'll be nerfed.

Since getting the M3 Light Kit, I have much more respect for Rails now. Very fun to kill steal and do tricky shots, as well as dueling another Rail. Best turret IMO now.
