A simile is a speech phrase that compares two dissimilar items. What are you trying to compare in your starting example? Perhaps you should have said: The court jester's nose was as long as.... or better still: The court jester's nose.....(this gives the responder greater flexibility with the simile.)

Why is it that every low ranked player wants to create their own quasi-clan? Is it a power-trip? Just join an existing clan with reputable, high-ranked players and learn advanced skills.
