Railgun m2 deals an average of 900 damage, while the m3 (not upgraded) deals 1058 averagly. Hornet m2 and m3 have 1470 and 1764 hp respectively. This means, in average, m2 railgun is able to kill m3 hornet in 2 shots. Of course if you are really unlucky you could end up killing it in 4 shots! But most of the times that shouldn't happen. Yet you can't claim your m2 rail to be as powerful as an m3, there's a valuable difference between the two and as Phantom said, you should always aim for m3 equipment. Unless you are playing battles with micro upgrades enabled, that would explain why you are having so many troubles.

Two people on the platform fail, as they hinder each other and aren't able to hide succesfully in case of need. Pointless to say a shaft there would be an easy target for a mid-skilled blue player. Another good option for defence is rico, it is very useful in case from attack or escape through tunnels. At the same time it can make a good challenge for attacking railers or thunders (who often camp around the red base). As for the attack, it all depends on the composition of the blue team: no hornet would harm a team of defenders, but it would maybe work great with a team of attackers. A midfielder railgun/thunder is always handy. And in case of heavy defenders, a pair of mammoth twins and freeze supported by valid isidas can do a valid breakthrough job.

Real life is demanding more and more time and I made many efforts to be present here and assist you as a community, but I can't do that anymore. We couldn't stream the SLTV final because it was held on an offline server. Russian commentators were there in novosibirsk and had access to the games, but the internet (and english commentators with it) had not. Although we tried our best, a solution to broadcast the content live wasn't found.

Speaking as both contest winner (2 times) and loser (countless). Guys, everyone can come up with something for a contest and think it's a good entry, and I know it's not nice to put efforts in your work for various hours or days and then not even get mentioned, but developers know what they are looking for, and it's not easy to amaze them. I advise you don't give up after one single lost contest, you should wait behind the corner for a contest involving something you are really good at, and then make your best out of it. If you keep entering all contests with average entries, which may even be cool ideas, but are not original or are poorly presented all you will get is frustration.
