Railgun really needs a buff and let me tell you why. First of all, 1 HIT of the Railgun does LESS damage then 1 HIT of the Thunder!!!! How is that even normal. The Thunder hase a cooldown of  3.00sec - 2.20sec and the Railgun 4.40sec - 2.60sec. The Thunder hase exploison impact so it makes it more out of balance. I know the railgun can penetrate but that rare and not as good as exploison impact.

Thats for the Thunder but dont even get me started on the Tesla and the shaft how are in my opinion way to OVER POWERD!!

Please maker of the game if you can do something about it, because its not really fun anymore to play with does guns anymore (I mean i once shot somoene with the railgun and did him 92 damage and there wasn't any overdrive of the Titan tank.

Actually I'm disgusted the fact that railgun got nerfed 

And I will tell you what deserves a nerf, shaft needs a nerf 

The fact that they nerfed railgun makes railguns speciality pointless.

Shaft needs a nerf yes. Railgun speciality useless? Nah.

Shaft? I never see shaft players dominating games like other turrets do. When i play it I have to work my butt off to get into the top half of the board. Maybe im just noob tho

I heard Congo recalled that he sighted like too many Titan-Shafts after the buff...

He saw teams of them? Certainly tho that would apply to any turret and they wouldnt get much score. You play in hornet mostly right? Do you find it easy to dominate battles compared to other turrets?

Can we get back to discussing railgun only?

 

Tbh it's main issue is that it has powerful status augments, and the rate at which crit's happen is very high.

 

For reasons unknown, devs thought it would help to drop the damage down, and keep the effects the same, the dilemma always will exist that certain railgun augments are devastating thanks to the current mechanisms, not the damage.

There are a few boards that shafts can do really well. I have another account that was almost all shaft...well before all the augments, but even now I don't score as well as I do with several turrets. Don't think it needs a nerf.

I took railgun out for a spin for the nostalgia of the old days before the horrible patch note.

To my surprise it still pretty good if used with DD. So I guess I'll be playing it quite a bit for fun. It's still my favourite you know...

It still works at low ranks because of less prots available there , i suggest u to take it into an all Legends battles where the enemy has max prot + defender , then the truu realisation of this nerf comes in mind.?

This seems to be the biggest problem with the protection system. I've seen many hammer/viking, mag/vik combos going 23/4 k/d and ppl won't switch protections. Some turrets, like rail seem to face 50% from most/all enemies even when the turret isn't doing much

Thats the destiny the poor rail has to face everytime , u cant even play at the fullest because at least somebody equips  prots for it , thats why i suggested to have fun with rail at low ranks because there u have a greater chance to deal full damage and try different things out.

Protections don't really matter for railgun after critical damage update. Critical shots occur regularly and ignore falcon protection

The majority of the Railgun's shots will be normal hits. And those critical hits can't one-shot medium hulls.

The chances of crit hapenning got a nerf recently if u noticed and then overall nerf makes even the crit damage somewhat not effective.

That is the major downside of this nerf . I have mk 8 rail and i use it with booster , it used to deal 3.1k damage if no BA or if crit would hapenn which is enough to take down medium hulls and lets u have a decent score in battle , but now the nerf has decreased the max damage to 2.6k which is pretty bad and its difficult to kill people more often than usual.
