From experience, it seems like just a little before full charge. 

 

However, I'm not sure if this is intended on the Test Server but I would notice that the Shafts' laser would instantly show when going into sniper mode. Sometimes, it made me think that they were using the Light Capacitors alteration but they were one-shotting my Hunter so they couldn't be using it. No, they weren't using the Booster drone and even if they were, all of the timers happened where it was well past 5 seconds of them activating double damage. 

 

I just find that a bit weird and inconsistent with the real servers.

You aren't supposed to be able to use Shaft's scope while moving, right? Some dummkopf did while in a match, tried to get him reported but couldn't.

Just Excel :)if nothing is changed the laser appears after about 2 seconds. On standart shaft & shaft with light capacitors also. I dont know how it works with heavy capacitors but I find this alteration useless.

I've decided to buy M1 Shaft on my lower account because I got a personal discount on it. I might as well relive the fun days I used to have on one of my founding accounts. I've been upgrading it since. It's at 8/10 going to 9. I haven't used it yet and I'm not using it until it's at 8/10. In the meantime, I'll be using Striker. 

 

 

I also got a Personal discount one Shaft M3 on this account that joined with the 25% sale yesterday but I didn't buy it. I'd have to upgrade it an awful lot just to one shot Legends. 

 

Edit: Been grinding to get crystals to speed up the processes.  It's at 8 now. I'll play with it when it's at 9.

Decided to take out Shaft M1 a little early because I knew Striker would have been ineffective in this particular battle. I wanted my first time using Shaft again to be where my team would win but I think I did well considering that we lost 5-0.

I absolutely love it. Just like me missing out on the fun of being a healer, I can't believe how great it feels to be a Shaft again. I wouldn't have made these great scores if my Shaft was at 1/10 upgrades. It's at 8/10 which is enough for me to one-shot M2 Dictators and slightly damaged M2 Vikings and Hunters at 0/10. I think I may ditch Striker just to use this because it's more rewarding at this moment to play with Shaft than Striker. 

 

Looking forward to more great battles with this. I'll be able to increase my potential when my Shaft reaches 10/10. 

 

 

 

 

Edit: Right after some good battles with Shaft, I got blessed with these missions. Missions I can do in one mode AND it only gives me crystals.

Was in a Highways ASL battle and I kept killing this guy because he was always in my sights. I had killed him during a gold when he was close to it after stepping on a mine and that's where it started. He got mad and sent me love messages over and over. He even complimented my economic status. I don't want to post the screenshot because there were derogatory words used but I find it quite enjoyable to hear them whine.

 

He tried to kill me by sending in his weaker teammate first then proceeding to come and finish me but I trained my laser on the decoy, and as he popped up, I aimed at him and the Isida that was next to me did enough damage for me to be able to one-shot him. He thought he could have bamboozled be but he was WRONG.

When I say "love messages", I mean hate messages. They would curse me, shout profanities and insult me just for playing the game. They can't handle the L's when it's given to them.

Is this in response to my post to Congo, or were you just commenting on my K/D?

 

My K/D has suffered immensely since challenges are introduced and the shorter games and smaller teams.  Groups of well organized players playing together against organized teams have left shafts sitting ducks.  You get one of those fourman teams together, and maybe a second on the opposing force, and they izzie train down to your teams spawn area, and camp.  The maps keep getting changed and shrunk, and homoginized.  there is nothing to do except try really hard.  Drugging is also at a full time high now.  I think the reduced game times have changed the dynamic.  People are okay with burning them up at the beginning, trying to get that OD, and then they just follow each other and charge each other up, and fill in the blanks with supply drops and more drugs.  I counted 5 players last night in one game where ANYTIME I saw them, they have all three on.

 

It's my fault too, get these dumb missions and I try to complete them.  I need to stick to just shafting from after and to hell with the missions.  I can crank my K/D back up slowly if I did that, though VERY slowly with everything else I just mentioned.

it never did that since i started the game... so either you remembered incorrectly... or you're remembering something that already changed a couple years ago

Your K/D. LOL my lowest was 0.88, now it going back up b/c not playing team battle anymore.

 

Except in Pro-Battle Polygon CP, Sandbox XP/BP. Or when the system suddenly put me to a team battle even when I chose JGR/DM.

 

When I played team battle, me and my team get dominated repetitively that brought my K/D down. There was one time I was playing Sandal TDM.... blue team stormed in and spawn-kill my team repetitively. I stood no chance.

 

At the end, my team took a heavy loss of 9-100 (that was before time get shortened). 

 

Ever since that heavy loss, nowadays I play Juggernaut and DM. Surprisingly, that brought my K/D back up.

 

Literally Hornet-Shaft (Short-band emitter) only with Eagle.... Hunter-Striker (Uranium/Cyclone) with Orka. Only using the module based on what turret I equipped.

 

Here's how... I don't target the Juggernaut, but rarely. I just kill enemy tanks that are targeting the J-boss.

 

Try to stick with DM/JGR for some time and see if almost every battle you made more kills than death.

 

Wait.... you still did not think about getting Eagle??? How you will survive in Shaft duel?????

I needed to upgrade my Shaft as much as possible to stay competitive in this day and age of Tanki. One thing that I've realised is how 'lazy' some players may be. My Shaft currently does 2294 damage for a fully charged scope shot. That is the same number of health M2 Hunter 0/10 has. I can essentially one-shot M2 Hunters if they have no upgrades.

 

Dictator is another story though.  The upgrade before my current MU level, I was able to one-shot an M2 Dictator with 0/10 upgrades. I am still able to one-shot them and now I can do that if they have 1/10 upgrades at most. What I realised is that when my damage was at 2250, I was still able to one-shot the majority of Dictators I encountered that were at full health. Which makes me wonder, are these players lazy? 

 

I had a feeling this would have been a factor so I kept testing it out. 100% of the Dictators I was able to one-shot at 2250 were Dictators that did not turn their turret; on an irrelevant note, the heavy majority of them were using Thunder with it. Now, I don't know about you guys, but when I buy a new modification of equipment, I would always have some crystals remaining whether it be 10k+ or 1k, 2k or a bit more, I would still have some crystals remaining. I use these crystals to start upgrading the new turret/hull/protection module. I find it baffling that these players don't do that with their hulls. It's only 100 crystals. 

 

It was kind of sad to see these players in battles because they've been playing with Dictator for hours yet they haven't touched any of its upgrades once. These are the ones that buy the Simoon Kit or the Boar Kit. Are they lazy? Do they think that they are powerful enough to dominate so they don't have to upgrade anything? Did they suddenly forget that MUs were a thing? I'll never know but it would continue to baffle me until it doesn't. 

 

 

 

I still love using Shaft. I just love it when I kill a buyer with a Hornet M2 right after he uses his Overdrive. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of players have started insulting me and cursing me because I'm killing them with Shaft. In a good game, I would get the second or third highest, if not the most kills in the battle. had so many premium users with Kits curse me in Russian just because I one-shot them. It really shows the expectations of Shafts of other players. I feel as if I'm just too good for them. I make them feel small when they try to dominate. I love it when that happens. Especially when they're using a medium hull I can one-shot.

Yeah nowaday on matchmaking...... I only play Solo mode. Team fight is just no. Only in Pro-Battle mode though.

 

I use Shaft and Striker on both mode mainly.

 

The reason why I have not micro-upgrade my Hornet-Shaft yet b/c I can get M3 right at Brigadier. Maybe for Hunter-Striker too.

 

I have about 1.3 million crystals in this account, but at this moment I play like F2W. Later on.... ho ho ho. It's show time!

 

When I sniped buyers with Shaft, same thing happens. One of them wrote "шафт *********" Of course that means " *CENSORED* Shaft!"
