First battle with the alteration I say it is better than standard shaft, but when compared with short band emitters I think both of them have their own benefits.

I could have had a lot of battles like that but some random rail with Round DeSTUPIDilisation one-shots me in the last 30 seconds. It's always those Railguns. 

 

I use a medium hull with Shaft so yeah, I don't have as many HP points as you do. I'm thinking of upgrading titan when I get to Captain. 

 

 

My Shaft is now 10/10. My first M2 (M1 10/10) turret could have been Firebird or Striker as they're still at 9/10 but I decided on Shaft because it's just too much fun to put down now. The fun is dissipating though because I faced a lot of medium hulls today that had more HP than the amount of damage I did.

My K/D has suffered immensely since challenges are introduced and the shorter games and smaller teams.  Groups of well organized players playing together against organized teams have left shafts sitting ducks.  You get one of those fourman teams together, and maybe a second on the opposing force, and they izzie train down to your teams spawn area, and camp.  The maps keep getting changed and shrunk, and homoginized.  there is nothing to do except try really hard.  Drugging is also at a full time high now.  I think the reduced game times have changed the dynamic.  People are okay with burning them up at the beginning, trying to get that OD, and then they just follow each other and charge each other up, and fill in the blanks with supply drops and more drugs.  I counted 5 players last night in one game where ANYTIME I saw them, they have all three on.

 

It's my fault too, get these dumb missions and I try to complete them.  I need to stick to just shafting from after and to hell with the missions.  I can crank my K/D back up slowly if I did that, though VERY slowly with everything else I just mentioned.

During the Challenge time, I see that you are making the same mistake every game. No offense, but it seems like you're treating pretty much every mode like TDM. You want to get the highest score? Then play the objective. Capture flags. Return flags. Capture some balls. Deliver flags to the blue base. It's really pretty simple.

Drugging is only as bad as the person who uses them. If they're skilled, then of course he/she'll give you hard time. Get over it. 2019 is here and it's gonna be tough..

In other words, you're skilled. But you need to change your mindset as of now.

 

Your K/D. LOL my lowest was 0.88, now it going back up b/c not playing team battle anymore.

 

Except in Pro-Battle Polygon CP, Sandbox XP/BP. Or when the system suddenly put me to a team battle even when I chose JGR/DM.

 

When I played team battle, me and my team get dominated repetitively that brought my K/D down. There was one time I was playing Sandal TDM.... blue team stormed in and spawn-kill my team repetitively. I stood no chance.

 

At the end, my team took a heavy loss of 9-100 (that was before time get shortened). 

 

Ever since that heavy loss, nowadays I play Juggernaut and DM. Surprisingly, that brought my K/D back up.

 

Literally Hornet-Shaft (Short-band emitter) only with Eagle.... Hunter-Striker (Uranium/Cyclone) with Orka. Only using the module based on what turret I equipped.

 

Here's how... I don't target the Juggernaut, but rarely. I just kill enemy tanks that are targeting the J-boss.

 

Try to stick with DM/JGR for some time and see if almost every battle you made more kills than death.

 

Wait.... you still did not think about getting Eagle??? How you will survive in Shaft duel????? 

You don't really need Eagle. Right now, so little people use Shaft other than us that it's disappointing. They'd rather go use Thunder and Firebird like idiots. Well, let's put them in their place.

I needed to upgrade my Shaft as much as possible to stay competitive in this day and age of Tanki. One thing that I've realised is how 'lazy' some players may be. My Shaft currently does 2294 damage for a fully charged scope shot. That is the same number of health M2 Hunter 0/10 has. I can essentially one-shot M2 Hunters if they have no upgrades.

 

Dictator is another story though.  The upgrade before my current MU level, I was able to one-shot an M2 Dictator with 0/10 upgrades. I am still able to one-shot them and now I can do that if they have 1/10 upgrades at most. What I realised is that when my damage was at 2250, I was still able to one-shot the majority of Dictators I encountered that were at full health. Which makes me wonder, are these players lazy? 

 

I had a feeling this would have been a factor so I kept testing it out. 100% of the Dictators I was able to one-shot at 2250 were Dictators that did not turn their turret; on an irrelevant note, the heavy majority of them were using Thunder with it. Now, I don't know about you guys, but when I buy a new modification of equipment, I would always have some crystals remaining whether it be 10k+ or 1k, 2k or a bit more, I would still have some crystals remaining. I use these crystals to start upgrading the new turret/hull/protection module. I find it baffling that these players don't do that with their hulls. It's only 100 crystals. 

 

It was kind of sad to see these players in battles because they've been playing with Dictator for hours yet they haven't touched any of its upgrades once. These are the ones that buy the Simoon Kit or the Boar Kit. Are they lazy? Do they think that they are powerful enough to dominate so they don't have to upgrade anything? Did they suddenly forget that MUs were a thing? I'll never know but it would continue to baffle me until it doesn't. 

 

 

 

I still love using Shaft. I just love it when I kill a buyer with a Hornet M2 right after he uses his Overdrive. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of players have started insulting me and cursing me because I'm killing them with Shaft. In a good game, I would get the second or third highest, if not the most kills in the battle. had so many premium users with Kits curse me in Russian just because I one-shot them. It really shows the expectations of Shafts of other players. I feel as if I'm just too good for them. I make them feel small when they try to dominate. I love it when that happens. Especially when they're using a medium hull I can one-shot.

 

 

 

I've only been using Striker for DM battles any other team battle, I've been using Shaft. I already accumulated 11 hours on it. 

The upgrade from M1 to M2 is simply the best. Being able to one-shot Dictators and Hunters takes anyone unawares. As for the Simoom kit, you're right. That's the reason I never bought it, because I would turn into one of these idiots.

Is your Hunter M2 yet? Because that's when it becomes very good for Shaft.

And for God's sake, ditch Striker. That ship has long sailed.

 

Yeah nowaday on matchmaking...... I only play Solo mode. Team fight is just no. Only in Pro-Battle mode though.

I use Shaft and Striker on both mode mainly.

The reason why I have not micro-upgrade my Hornet-Shaft yet b/c I can get M3 right at Brigadier. Maybe for Hunter-Striker too.

I have about 1.3 million crystals in this account, but at this moment I play like F2W. Later on.... ho ho ho. It's show time!

When I sniped buyers with Shaft, same thing happens. One of them wrote "шафт *********" Of course that means " *CENSORED* Shaft!"

The team modes are still pretty fun, but I would seriously recommend buying Hunter M2 and going to M3 with it. Trust me, Major is the perfect rank to do so. Do that, and you'll get to Brigadier in a month. And try Light Capacitors. I changed my mind, they're actually really good.

I tried DM two times today and caught 2 containers in 20 minutes. Not bad, right?

Play the objective, and people will love you in quick battles. People at Generalissimos compliment me for playing the objective even when we're losing, and I've even beaten teams with ranks much higher than mine by twofold. (for example, a Sandal CTF 7-0 win, my score - 480 and 2.00 D/L, and the other team's top player (General) - 240 and 1.20 D/L).

You want to go places? Get Hunter M3. You won't regret it.

And your move about waiting until Brigadier? Solid choice. I might buy that kit myself on holidays.

After you buy this one, you'll never go back to Short-band emitters. Ever.

Yeah, well Railgun protection is a lot more viable now than it was before.

Great choice. Hunter is clearly the way to go. And don't let M2 hulls get you down, you can always get Shaft M3.

Exactly. The only thing M2 Shaft can't one-shot is Viking, but even then all it takes is a Twins plasmaball to end it.

Believe it or not, I actually had ANOTHER battle like the one I had yesterday, in the Brest map once again, coming 1st place in the winning team with 0 deaths. :)

I think this is the most amount of kills I got with 0 deaths AND coming 1st place in the winning team. (I'll post another if I can find another battle like that where I got more kills).

Dang... no wonder Grizzly and Fox modules are mad common. So is Falcon. Yeah... maybe Panther too. Spider module is the rarest module you will find.

I tried Light Capacitor back on the test server... And it only works if Shaft’s M4 and dealing a Wasp/Hornet-Firebird/Freeze who’s circle-strafing. Only works in close range.

 

Gonna go 4 Centaur! And Justice kit!

 

Team mode is still fun? That’s because you are lucky. While me in team fights.... my team get dominated.

 

And when my team dominated enemy team, I feel bad for them. Because that happened to me.

@Jameden I think the highest amount of kills I got in a MM battle with Shaft is 34. Anyways, I love it when they curse you. I just put a smiley face when they send me profanities. I only respond when they call me a hacker. 

 

Another factor to your success is that you are being placed with ranks lower than you. I wanna see how good you do when the ranks are higher. It'll be harder but it's satisfying to kill the higher ranks when they underestimate your Shaft's power. :)

It's honestly kind of sad to see this. I see players like Cowboy too often in the game. He used M2 Railgun and M2 Viking with the Round DeSTUPIDilisation alt. He's getting mad because I'm killing him and his team is not magically jumping in front of him when one of my team's Shaft's laser is shone on him. I hate seeing players like him. They're the ones maintaining the unneeded toxicity in the game. 

 

 

That part when he said "see ahaha'", I had shot him with full power but stock M2 Shaft can't one-shot a stock M2 Viking. He found it fit to point that out in the most obnoxious way. 

 

Then he said "ez win" although it was my team who had won. 

 

 

These people honestly confuse me and it's very pathetic to be like these people. What fun do they gain from this? Continuing the stereotype...it's not surprising:

Dude, it's not really hard to do that on low ranks. Not many people drug nor know how to play, hulls are way too slow. Try to do this on maxed ranks while also getting flags:

Muhammad is right IMO. For God's sake, there is nothing that pisses me off more than cowards who camp in one spot. And Titan? Grow up man, you're gonna make so many enemies (myself included) for just mining everywhere around you and picking people off from a corner of the map. It doesn't matter how many kills you get in a battle if you make enemies with every person in the match. Please, just stop. Learn how to play aggressively, and people will start to respect you.

Damn right it isn't. The only reason they use Round Destabilization is because that's the only thing they can afford and all they dream of is being in Synergy... When will they ever learn? Cowboy is a pain in the ass. I've met him before, and I've dealt with him in the way that he'll never want to meet me again. Just wait until this r*tard goes up to M3 and you one shot him. Nothing more infuriating than people like this. If Tanki had voice chat, he would have been banned from it for a year. Enough said.

I once almost got a 30 K/D in a battle but then I died and ended up getting 16.75 K/D.  :mellow:  (this was before MM btw)
