I just realized - your Dictator M2.9 is nothing. I can, with my current Shaft, one-shot any Dictator hull below M3 15/20. Ha!

And you do not think in the slightest that that, is ridiculous?

 

Man - we all know you hate Shaft. Your Dictator M2.9 has only 2607 hp, which means that (since the DA and assumed DD cancel out) it only takes Shaft M2.2 to one-shot you. That's why you use Eagle, and that's why we use Hornet. Remember, if we use Hornet, we're susceptible to so many other turrets that can one-shot us. And if we use Hornet, we can't stand a melee range attack. So it's a trade-off. We also don't always have ODs on, because they nerfed Hornet's OD. 

 

We, in turn, don't spend our time commenting that we hate Uranium Striker, then taking screenshots of our own comments, and posting it in the LdStriker topic :P

That's why I'm literally using railgun instead of striker... Heck railgun does better than striker at ALL ranges, that's dumb. It reloads so fast and destabilizer often lets me oneshot enemies. Heck, it occasionally oneshots heavy hulls too.

 

No way in heaven I would do that with striker, unless I'm facing an unprotected light hull with uranium. And boy is it hard to hit the spot.

Plus with striker I would have to be exposed for over 3 seconds to load the cyclone salvo that can kill an heavy, assuming that:

1. no team mates get on my face (You have no idea how often that happens and I either die or flip my ally instead of killing the enemy),

2. He doesn't hide into cover, both before and after I release a salvo

3. Or alternatively if he gets on my face I'll die before he gets hit with 3 missiles out of 8.

In Test Server today.... One battle, I was the only Shaft but guess what?

 

ARMIES OF EAGLES!!! WTH?! I was the only Shaft! And there was a Gauss dude/tte who was wearing M3 Eagle, while there was no M3 Owl! 

 

Seems like Eagle modules will soon rise as an army, just like what happened to Falcon and Grizzly....

In Test Server today.... One battle, I was the only Shaft but guess what?

 

ARMIES OF EAGLES!!! WTH?! I was the only Shaft! And there was a Gauss dude/tte who was wearing M3 Eagle, while there was no M3 Owl! 

 

Seems like Eagle modules will soon rise as an army, just like what happened to Falcon and Grizzly....

And that army will be crushed by an army of Shaft/Hornets.

Well, Tank Online, you've outdone yourselves again. I am a shaftsman, and you've made every effort to make the shaft obsolete. Not only that it has no meaningful upgrade compared to the other turrets, nor is it invisible to all other players due to the tracer, now you have added additional bounce to the hulls so a sniper can't aim until the see-saw sensation stops. I nearly get see sick when aiming in sniper mode. Stop trying to be realistic - there is nothing realistic about the whole game. Cut the bouncing by100%, take the tracer off as an upgrade.

The shaft aiming is perfectly precise, there is no bounce... Unless you're getting hit or moved by a team mate.

The change is from today, so you probably haven't played it yet. All hulls have the "improved" rocking effect like in a hansom cab. I am a Legend 7, and have played since January 2015. I would not comment if there was not change. So, please, more respect.

Hmmmmm, I think I know what's going on here. I've been experiencing something like this for weeks now but it is for a particular reason. 

 

That happens when my hull is like this on an edge:

You can't see it but I achieved the rocking thing in that position. Sometimes, it's less intense while others were more intense than that one. 

 

 

It would continuously rock back and forth vertically and it happens when I have many enemies to kill for the benefit of my team's survival. I usually miss but I still hit some players. Is this what you're talking about?

I must have gone mad, in that case. No other explanation. I am not on a ledge, no one is pushing me. All tanks - I checked this with three hulls - have a more intense rocking movement when stopping to fire. It is like having bad suspension. That is what I mean. I get more intense rocking when I get shot as well.

So what? I used to play before shaft even got released, and that was pre 2011. I don't care at all about your ranks, that just shows you played a lot, not how well you have. Don't assume anything. You don't know if I have other accounts and where they're at.

I've noticed it too - my Shaft/Hunter will rock and shake when I'm sitting on a flat surface.

It's like they're trying to make the game less fun.  The rocking is on all tanks, but what's the point in adding this other than annoyance?

Scope mode should be counted as activity. A lot of times the beam can be used as a "Shepard's staff" for pinning down the other side. Shaft should not penalized while in Siege/Scope Mode.

I played last night and I didn’t rock when I was playing per day, but a butterfly so much farted next to me and I’d sway for a bit. I’m going to look for this tonight and see if I notice any sway that you all speak of when sitting undisturbed. If they did this, they are killing the ONE advantage they gave to adding the laser.

Damn it I was sniping so well with Shaft but got removed for inactivity, forgot I had to move  -_-

Turret movement and score earned should be counted too in activity

I tried it, as the game loves to put me on camp maps when I'm on my isida account. The sway is there, but only as you enter sniping mode while still moving, and it ends shortly after, seems regular to me.

Um, yes sway, um, bad and terrible, not so much, uh, annoying as all get out, but, not a game ender.  Once settled, yeah, you tend to be delicate and easily bumped, but otherwise, it's business as usual, no issue.  I won't lie, it's hard enough being a shaft, but if this is the worst nerf we get for a long time (or ever again, HEAR THAT DEV?!) I'll gladly take it.

 

Gotta say, something seems off, because my K/Ds have been UP lately.  So maybe the sway hits the other units too, and since we get to aim "real good like", maybe there is a tiny win for us (speculation, no idea if it does, but yeah, I can dream, right?)

No, but since we are zoomed in on our scope the swaying affects us less than, say, Striker single shots. Really anything single shots.
