so unless someone is saying otherwise, and I haven't seen it, NO, they haven't reintroduced sway.

 

Let's be CLEAR, they haven't reintroduced sway, and they had better not, that would be the breaking of the covenant for what they did to us.  I can't see even the most dyed in the wool Anti_Shaft dev legitimately consider such a thing.  That would be like shooting someone in a crowd, and while standing with gun say "I didn't do it.," and the proceeding to put two more bullets in them for good measure.

 

No, WHAT HAS CHANGED is the stability of the "platform", the hull.  Little things can make it waiver, shake, sway.

shaft is not noob, noobs do use them and die, but if used efectivly it can be one of the most team-helpful turrets. I love it but you have to keep the upgrades up to date so you can still one shot. dont waste mony one modes for it

with Shaft M4 with short-band emitters I can almost barely 1 shot a Hornet m3 with DD 

 

I managed to do it once on a rare occasion, maybe add slightly more to short-band emitters so it can 1 shot a Hornet m3 with DD

I managed to do it once on a rare occasion, maybe add slightly more to short-band emitters so it can 1 shot a Hornet m3 with DD

That Hornet has to be M3 Stock or with minimal upgrades because M4 Assault Emitters Shaft can deal up to 1,800 maximum with double damage.

I'd like to ask Tanki Online not to introduce any new upgrades for shaft. Just bring back what was taken away: restore the wide scope angle, increase damage, make doubles and triples possible again, stop the rocking (which his a hall issue), While you at it, get rid of one thing - the tracer. Just that will make the Shaft a formidable weapon once more. Because now it is one of the weakest guns. The Gauss doesn't have one, the smokey too.

Just bring back what was taken away: restore the wide scope angle, increase damage, make doubles and triples possible again, stop the rocking (which his a hall issue), While you at it, get rid of one thing - the tracer. Just that will make the Shaft a formidable weapon once more. Because now it is one of the weakest guns. The Gauss doesn't have one, the smokey too.

You dont want shaft to be too good or battles will end up with tons of campers. Camping shafts dont really add much to their team bsides annoying the enemy. As it is, Ive seen some really good shaft players who move around a lot

Now I'm just curious, how exactly do you play with Shaft? I've only noticed you in maybe 4 or 5 battles. Here is one where you just went after our flag all game and not actively try to kill anyone.

No. This will cause armies of Eagle modules to rise. Just like what happened to Falcon and Grizzly modules.

How much damage do you think Shaft should do?   :wacko:   It can already kill a medium hull of same m-level...

Also last time I tested, the laser doesn't appear in scope mode for the enemy until it's practically fully charged.

Guys, I've made a huge discovery.

 

Forget my whining about Striker and Thunder. I've found the Juggernaut assassin.

 

What comes to your mind when you think of Dictator-Shaft? Camper? Stalker? Or marksman?

 

You know the buff to Shaft a bit of time back and the nerf to Heavy Capacitors? This made it even better.

 

Before, it would increase your damage to 3900. Now, it goes over 4100. This may not seem like a lot now, but take a look at the Juggernaut HP values.

 

With Shaft M4 and max Booster, I've been getting the max damage of 16706. The Juggernaut's HP at M3 is a flat 16470.

 

Do you realize what pain we can dish out now? I've been going around with Dictator for its better weight than Hunter, and I've rather liked it. Set up a position anywhere, and you'll deal the guaranteed one-shot kill to any Juggernaut without Eagle.

 

Ah, so you want to get the people even with Eagle? You'll have to go with Hornet, but that is a very high-risk high-reward move. Given that 50% of people treat JGR like DM, you'll get your aim knocked off pretty much always.

 

I played for 2 hours yesterday. Every game that I played in JGR, I took the Juggernaut home at least once.

 

And don't forget that Juggernaut doesn't take into account any microupgrades whatsoever. Anyone will have exactly 16470 HP or less, so you shouldn't even worry about getting a white 16706 anymore.

 

All you have to do... is align the scope to your target and fire the killshot.

I guess it's good if you can afford a drone but you can just use Viking OD and kill a juggernaut without needing batteries

You know how badly I hate Vikings.

 

Batteries are actually pretty cheap IRL, only 9 USD for 750. It's one of the best deals for stuff I've seen over the years. I bought 3000 a month ago and I'm still sitting at 2000.

Why you have so much hatred thought to Viking??? Just because of its Overdrive and Viking-Uranium????

I had to do all the defending. I remember seeing them have like 4 Hornets. They had 2 Hunters, 4 Hornets and a Wasp. I can't remember what the 8th person had, probably a Hornet as well. 

 

2 (confirmed) or 3 (skeptical) of those Hornets were using Electromagnetic Accelerator Scout so I had to rely on arcade shots to kill them. Since most of them were light hulls, the kills came swiftly.

Most OP turret in game right now and with rapid fire alt you get no way to survive..

RF was nerfed, LCs is better now in some ways.
