I think everyone can agree that its good to have a good freeze, and annoying to go against one. :lol:

It costs 239k for a turret that can't win in a 1 v 1 against anything... plus I need to spend 5k crystals on a PRO pass every month because it literally will do nothing in standard 10 v 10 battles.

 

You just need 15% freeze protection to make freeze lose its freezing effect.

 

And everyone owns at least 35% against freeze. 

Not interested in Firebird because of the excessive modules against it. But what about freeze? I know there will always be a few people with protection from your turret but is it excessive? 

Freeze imo has the most modules against.

On second reading you mean most modules available in Garage?  Could be true. 

 

What I meant was out there in the battlefield - Thunder and Rail see way more modules equipped in battles.

There do not seem to be same amount of Freeze modules equipped - largely because the turret is rarer.

I had the M2 a while ago and I admit it was pretty poor.

Just got the M3 yesterday and I've killed quite a few tonight 1on1, even head on.  Maybe the M3 is what the M2 should have been...

This is what I have been saying... my M3 viking at 17/20 still gets killed by Freezes - especially if they come in from flank.

 

My m1.5 freeze is till doing well at mid-ranks - finished a CTF battle on massacre with 17 kills / 15 deaths - at that's with me doing a flag-cap mission.

I think freeze is a very strong weapon. Yes the freeze effect isn't as strong as it used to be, but that was years ago.

 

Tanki took away the characteristics from isida and freeze. They removed self-heal from isida and massively reduced the freeze effect.

Well Freeze glow's on NP's it is really frustating to get frozen in the middle of a polygon CP  :(

The freezing effect is weak right now IMO.

Freeze was the first M3 turret I bought in 2016 Tanki birthday celebrations after watching a few Freeze videos. Those videos were full of inspiration. Freeze was great until alts update came Feb 2017. That was  a huge blow as Freeze was nerfed indefinitely along with the introduction of  alts and production modules. A lot of plans were included to upgrade Freeze to M4 and obtain a good hull and Fire/ isada protection for short map combat  like Arena and Island. But Tanki developments has cut my plans short. Barely use Freeze now.  Even the High pressure Pump Alt dosent improve the Freezing ability of Freeze much unless your sitting still or your battling it out on flat maps against players witch no Freeze protection.

Maybe at M3+ I have yet not encountered one , It is very good at m1 & m2 and i hate it when i am playing against it 

But having one on your team on CTF make sure the enemies don't get away with flag easily :D

m1 yeah, but m2 is when it gets weak. Of course, m2 is still decent at your rank just because its a m2.

Oh i think yes , and i was talking about NP battles 

They freeze you and you cant really do nothing except wait to be killed by him or a kill stealing Smoky or thunder

Sure. Freeze is somewhat underpowered now though, so I suggest use your M1 Firebird until you can get M2s.

I use freeze-hunter for defense and freeze - wasp for attack... sometimes

this is the best turret for dealing with isida hordes. other turrets that can damage many enemies at once like thunder, magnum, striker and railgun only work if the horde stays far away while firebird doesn't even work as it's dps is lower than a single isida so it doesn't stand a chance against more. freeze is just perfect, slow them all down and let my team mates kill them, otherwise slowly kill them one by one.

I think the most common mistake made by freeze users is that.... (taken from the turret's description in the garage) Freeze plays a special role in battle. It's job is to slow down fast hulls, leaving them at the mercy of more powerful tanks. Try not to fall into the temptation of using up all of your energy gauge by playing snowball fights with your teammates. While this can be fun, a real tanker has more important business to attend to.

is this your highest ranked account? after m3s unlock every turret gets used both effectively and uneffectively due to the 50% protection modules. even the weakest turrets become more effective when used against people with no protection against them.

Yes this is my highest Account , and i have not seen a single freeze since last weak and it was on a Polygon CP

They were good , i had M1 module against freeze still i was killed on site
