It looks a really nice for me better than the current style of graphics (for other turrets/hulls)

In real after the disgusting graphics changing that happened in 2012/2013, I don't care anymore about the graphics I just liked the very old one.

Just realized that hunters stun doesn't enemies drop ball or flag anymore.

 

For those that bought and MUed hunter, you have my sympathy. Because it has been nerfed to the ground officially.

 

For those that bought and MUed wasp or hopper, I applaud you for being smart enough to know that they were the superior choice to hunter.

Still loving it. I still remember when hunter was one of the best ODs out there when it could stun juggernauts and pretty much incapacitate any tank.

I really think that Hunter's OD should not apply Jammer to enemies that the user does not have a line of sight to.

It's not a fun or skillful mechanic to lose the ability to use your OD in a situation where you really need it just because some Hunter across the map happened to use his OD right as you are about to use yours.

I don't mean to whine, but think that the Jammer aspect of Hunter's OD is pretty poorly designed. All in all, I think that Hunter should require a line of sight (but at any distance) to apply Jammer to its enemies in order to reduce frustration.

So you want to make it more pointless than it already is?

I agree that Hunter is a bit outclassed at the moment. It isn't that much more maneuverable than Viking and has a weaker OD and a lower max speed. Crusader has the hover mechanic and a crazy-fast charging OD with a strong AP and freezing effect with high damage. With that said, I wouldn't mind it if Hunter received a small buff in exchange of my suggested OD adjustment. All I was doing was pointing out a particularly unfun aspect of Hunter's OD.

2k seems too much for MK1, but its perfect for MK8. An easy solution is to make it deal 1k at MK1 and 2k at MK8. In other words, making it an upgradeable parameter.

 

Other than that, this would really help out. Hunter would somewhat have something of its own again.

I hope not. I mean wasp practically does the same thing as hunter and more, and its still at the 1 minute and 40seconds mark.

Of course not, otherwise it wouldn't be a buff that much. 2k damage would be the parameter for an mk8 version

hunters overdrive is an defense as well as a attack overdrive.

its according to how you use it

Well...thanks for ruining Hunter. Hunter is a mostly defensive hull and not that strong anyway when compared to the others, and now this new repair kit nonsense of canceling overdrives has players blowing right through it and smashing you. That stun effect is all it had going for it. Oh, it's cancels nukes and shields, but we all know that's a rare chance and largely depends on being in the right place at the right time. I sunk all that I had into the Hunter to make it as tough as I could and now it's largely useless because someone decided the repair kit needed to be more OP than it already is. Good work guys! The slower, methodical tank styles just get nudged aside for the cheese combos.

Hahaaaaaa yea... my best hull is Hunter, nowadays I either take a status augment (I have 2) or camp with Shaft. I do want to upgrade my Viking though, since I have like... 2-3 immunities on it from Challenges + lucky containers.

I absolutely LOVE the fact that it's GUARANTEED damage. Nothing can block it. Finally, choosing to upgrade Hunter is worth it.
