I don't like either of them. Too many players that play this mode think they are superior to others, especially other equipment. 

Yeah, unfortunately XP/BP games are riddled with this kind of people. But I don't think that it should affect your view on the mode itself, as it is rather fun and does indeed require a lot of skill. It's really the only mode I play nowadays.

Xp/Bp should be a game mode like rugby, assault, and all the original game modes. just 1 xp for every kill made will make tankers eventually stop doing xp/bp so that is why i would like Xp/Bp to be a game mode and not just a probattle pass thing. im an xp/bp player and it gets kinda anoying after i kill someone and only get 1 xp a kill and for flags I dont know how much xp u get but I wish Xp/Bp will become a gamemode to where u can earn like a little more than 10 xp a kil . like 15 since it is called Xp/Bp

This is because you are playing private battles. Create a public PRO battle and you will be getting normal EXP for kills.

 

XP/BP can't be made into a game mode since it's just an additional setting that can be applied to existing game modes.

Not always , you can predict it though , just look at the dmg you have done to him and your HP bar {works in 1v1 & 2v2 , 3+ it is hard to keep th track of all shots of all guys}

You can predict it, but you can only do so after the first shot, and its a little too late to apply that prediction to save yourself then...

Actually m2 railgun has an other "disadvantage"... the turning speed; you can use that even if you are 1 shot ...

i do that most of the time  :ph34r: but not always works, some guys are used to the turning speed of m2 and they rlly good

Hi! I play tanki for a long time.I have a several accounts. but this star thing sucks..I was 1st ans i didnt get stars an there was a player who was 10th and got 2 stars. What is the point of this. getting tired of bull****. why do play anyway then????

U need to confirm ur vote on the war website to earn stars and make sure u play standard battle.

before the introduction of unique overdrives, this statement would've been absolutely correct. now, however, hornet's OD allows u to 1shot everything except heavy hulls, ignoring protection completely (with LCR or round destabalization alt). u basically become a shaft that doesn't need scope mode to do full damage, and since most XP players know how to peek-a-boo, they will just farm kills easily during the 20 second OD

I agree on "farming kills during the 20 second OD", but: what's next? and what's before that OD activation?

That's why you see sometimes an XP player in MM that has a negative KDR and not capturing flags/points (no objectives in general) etc...

yeah, when OD is on cooldown killing is harder, but generally i just camp in enemy base and farm kills there (LCR alt is imperative to this process due to being able to one-shot medium hulls without protection). few have double armor active in their own base since they don't expect to get shot at. when enemies become aware of my presence i just reposition or suicide if too many cooldowns. also hornet's OD charging rate is one of the fastest, so you'll be farming quite consistently

@Maf, this topic is quite outdated, though the tips and translations are still good. M to Mk conversion needs to be updated, and stuff like "Server-1" is no longer relevant, as far as I know. Also, I feel this topic isn't advertised enough, given the number of Xp/Bp players. Why, a user created a new topic on "Let's Discuss XP/BP" today!

Xpbp is not the only way in which one has to rely on his/her own skills to excel in battle uk. There are other pro battles which need way more skill than xpbp.
