What is this? The opponent team members become 8 while we are still 6. This is not a PRO battle.

If it is 6v6, then 2 join other side it is because they click the button at the same time.

I do not think that can happen. If they do that, one of them loses. At least, that was how it looked to me when (I assumed) I clicked the button at the same time someone else did.

 

It was 7 vs. 5 --> 7 vs. 6 --> 8 vs. 6. So it seems the seventh guy joined well before the eighth guy. Maybe a seventh person on our team clicked to join and then got disconnected or something as the eighth guy on the other team joined.

 

The worse case is when an unbalanced battle ends, e.g. 8 vs. 4 and the new battle starts with 4 vs. 8. That's ridiculous but hard to solve.

I feel like this movement is to educate and make people aware of this monstrosity. However, that really isn't going to work if it is just sitting here on a forum page. 

 

My suggestion is that you propose to Tanki itself that there must be an immediate action to help make people aware and insure that they follow this conduct when running into situations like the ones you have listed. 

 

Tanki must make improvements to the game after all, make this one there priority.

Usually a 10 vs. 10 CTF battle for 30 minutes. (Silence, Noise, common maps, etc.) with about 6-8 people on both sides.

So I'm clicking non-stop on the winning side, and a free slot opens up. I clicked it already, and the server is sending me into that battle, right?

 

Right before I go in and start loading, I look at the battle list and see that someone else had got in BEFORE me. However, we both still got in, since most likely I had clicked "enter" button as well when it was available. . . .

If that is really how it happened, that is a server bug. The server should process the first request it got and deny the other.

No. I once reported someone, and as far as I could tell nothing happened at all, so I quit. Besides, this flying guy was fun. He did not hurt me or anything. :)

 

I might have done something wrong when I reported the first person. Shouldn't they at least say insufficient evidence, or that was okay or whatever, if they decide not to punish? I did not see my post make it ever.

I will no longer be maintaining this topic. It is a waste of time. Mults, saboteurs, and cheaters where at an all time high during this last "double crystal funds" event. Tanki has not shown any interest in dealing with the issue, so the dishonest players win. I'm done wasting time suggesting ways to make the game better and more enjoyable for honest people. I'm from a different time, a time when people had to earn what they wanted. Today it seems to be acceptable to just take whatever you want. Don't think of anyone else, just be selfish and only think of yourself.

 

 

Every time someone complains about this issue, all they get is the standard answer "we are aware of the problem". Here is an idea, if you are aware of the problem, then do something about it. I'm starting to believe that Tanki will never do anything about this issue, because it makes them money. Maybe I'm wrong but frankly I just don't care anymore. This game is what it is, take it or leave it.

and yes, generalissimos can also be mults.

I am sorry that you feel that way. If you remember, I said this a few months ago. Regardless of that, I appreciate your efforts and take this chance to thank you for all you did. I hate mults as much as you do, but if we can't convince TO that they are affecting their bottom line, we won't get help and our efforts will be mostly wasted.

I think you've taken a stand and made point. You've engaged lots of forum goers and it seems that the vast majority who visited this topic want something done about the injustices in this game which cause frustration to so many.

way to report hackers and players not helping the team. I disagree on one thing druggers. I think if you let the guy take supplies and he is the best player helping the team then let him do it you can still help the team instead of multing or hacking. Btw taking supplies in a dm is not a problem. There are no teammates.

Actually, DM is more complicated because you can't easily tell who is allied with who, and that is a common thing. Only noobs kill every tank in sight. :P

IT's funny, I used to post on this thread.  I feel almost like the creator of the thread, it seems like often the requests fall on ears that listen but don't do too much about it, yet they put lasers on shafts.  All that aside though, something I have been noticing lately, and it could very well be simply lag, but in a number games as of late, when the opposition is simply formidable, there are moments when I am about to take a shot, it's clear I have it, I'm going to nail them, and the connection freezes.  It lags for 5 to 10 seconds, and of course when my machine catches up, the shot is gone and I am invariably dead.  It doesn't happen even a tenth of a time as often in other circumstances, such as watching or traveling, but when I have a shot on a target.  It also seems to happen when my presence or the presence of a couple of players begins to shift the tide of battle, a flag or two captured quickly, or a suppression of the other teams ability to continue capturing ours. 

 

Is there a known hack that allows a player to interrupt another players data traffic, freezing them and giving that player/team an opportunity to destroy that person by the same situation created of lag and interruption?

It is amazing how many players have no clue on how to report a player in the game.  It is simply /vote <insert players name>.  To get the players name just click on the name and select copy name then paste after the /vote.  Can't find the players name?  Click <tab> and a list of all players in the game appears.  

 

Yes, the lag is something terrible and completely unpredictable (most likely it is the connection with the server).  I have seen the exact same thing happen.  I doubt there is a hack that would stall another's shot.  They would have to know how you are connecting and stall it enough to get out of the way and shoot you.  

 

I do wish devs would spend more time making the game run and play better than developing 'gee whiz' features.

But if we keep persisting, i know that tanki will listen to us, but we should be patient enough to do this for a very long time, if we want tanki to actually start listening. Or at least, this is what i learnt in my history class.

Unfortunately, this is caused by the flaw in reward distribution. You can't really blame people for doing what Tanki wants them to do. Tanki lets people know what it wants them to do by rewarding them for it.

how come you have RAIDERS in your rank? im a WO5, about same as your rank, and have never experienced a raid before.... has this now become a thing in the game?
