Are small ranks bothering you by multing?

Recommended Posts

Do you hate to see small ranks joining your team with their m0 wasps and m0 twins or m0 railgun weakening your team? I want to know what players think of separation between ranks when battling.

I know that it has been made possible for small ranks to play with their high ranking friends. But this is being misused most of the time.

Why don't we revise this option? My suggestion would be this: Let's not allow small ranks to enter higher ranks' battle that open for everyone. If they want to play with their high ranking friends, they can open a private battle for themselves. This would prevent them from multing around

They are rare for me. But still... I usually ask them to leave or leave myself. With a mult on your team you have 70% of losing depending on the opposite team

I hate multis but this is not the way to resolve the problem.  Players can already set the rank range for a battle.  If battles allow low rank players it is generally because the makers of the battle prefer it.  Probably because a few people that are easy to kill (legitimate low ranking players who for some reason join a battle in which they are outmatched) benefits them in some way.

Here are a couple better ideas for the multi problem:

I am sorry to inform you of this, but you are misusing the word, "mult". A mult is someone who intentionally sabotages their own team. What you are describing is merely a low ranked player entering a battle and not doing as well as you. Perhaps you need to revise your statement.

No I am not misusing it at all. It was what I exactly meant. Let me explain it. Two teams are battling very hard but they both are struggling. One of the team player is calling his friend to join other team with his low ranking account.. Basically with m0 weapons. Isn't it then multing ? Weakening opposing team with purpose ? Perhaps your definition of multing is something else. But to me it is unfair play and I call it sabotage

No, players do not do this. And you have no way of confirming they do, as you cannot possibly know who is friends with who. My definition of a mult is indeed accurate. Lower ranked players, as of this point, posses the right to join battles with as high a rank above them as their account will allow. They do not join these battles with the explicit intention of sabotaging the team they have joined, so as to benefit the other. There is no need to belittle these lower ranked players, as we have all been there. Had someone tried to pull this on you, I would imagine you would have tried to take a stand for yourself.

Then I am sorry to hear that, but the change being suggested here would greatly affect the innocent majority of the community. In addition to the aforementioned point, you would certainly qualify as a, "low ranked player" to a Generalissimo as you are only a Captain.

People still say own?  News to me.  At any rate if you use the nomenclature outlined in this thread: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=217363&page=1 what you are describing is a saboteur.  It does happen, I've seen it, and they are occasionally brazen enough to declare their intentions in chat.  A couple players join, say they are inviting friend, friend shows up, proceeds to push you off of things or run into fire repeatedly.  None the less I stick by my previous comment that changes in the allowed ranks when starting a match is a poor way to address the problem.

Yes they do this. Or you are not here long to know this fact. I have seen it

For you there is no need doesn't mean the same for others. They need to weaken the opposing team with low ranking tanks so that they can win and they do that

And we have all been there? We are still there. As long as we are not marshal, we are all small no matter what. We can obtain some of the m2 weapons. That makes us small since we have no m3. But I hate to see someone in my rank playing with m0 weapons. It is obviously a sabotage but they don't accept it as everyone is free to play with what they want, even if it is m0. Unfair

Now a days i dont see low ranked players joining high ranked battle much . But problem is that some high ranked noobs use m1 or m0 to do mult .i think they should keep an update like high ranked players should not able to use m1 and m0 in normal battle

I dont care so much for the rank as for the weaponary.

It would be cool, that the battles are not classified by ranks but by the allowed weapons you may use.

So have only one M-class difference:

meaning:

if you are in the battle which is M1/M2, you can only enter if you have an M1/M2 combo equipped.

If you are already in the battle and you want to change your equipment in the garage, then you can only equip you M1 or M2 equipment.. others are locked out.

Or:

you may equip it.. but you get only 50% of experiance points and only 50% of your crystals share (sometimes you simply want to play a certain combo..)

The problem there is that what if some generallisimo has m0 equipment? Gens' VS recruits? 0.o

In some extend this is the case already today, as many higher ranks make new accounts - you can spot those guys from far away (tactical, turn turret, move clever, hit with deadly precision..).

It is not so much of a problem as long as there are only a few of them.

But in the main line of your argument I agree... it would have be to a mixture of both limitations (M-level and rank)

edi:

but I still like the idea of joining high level ranks with my M0 vulcan.. if my team dominates anyways I sometimes do that for fun, cause my overpowered team loses power by this way, which makes the battle for the looser team more easy again.

I would accept less XP in this case

This guy fly hacked right in front of me.....I got a screenshot of him on top of a tall building, but sadly, they need a video for game violators. :(
