This week end event, from the 15 free UC i got 2 legendary augments, wyvern' breath (freezing hammer) and magnetic pellet (emp hammer), the emp one is pretty strong, the emp effect appears in the last shot so it isnt based on chance, i can easily manipulate it, i rate it the best ultra exclusive augment after Emp salvo from gauss(and AP gauss too), however, the second one, the freezing hammer, is very weak, it gives effect only on critical which happens very rarely.

I found it quite easy to play against if I have Hammer protection. I'm able to survive until my supplies come back right before their next EMP.

Very rarely? It's supposed to have a 33% chance.

Yes but since i kill them really fast with booster, i almost never had the occasion to freeze them, they mostly die on the critical chance, maybe it is better with hornet OD but with crusader, it was weak compared to the emp one or even the dragon breath augment.

It is a bug in the mobile version. It has been reported.

Yes I use it for killing Juggernaut with my Viking OD, but it can never be better than the ultra augment blunderbuss in this.

It gets the same firing rate bonus, just a low damage bonus.

Earlier at the augment's introduction in the start, Viking OD was too powerful with Blunderbuss especially at its Overdrives, with nearly every firing shot giving critical and increased damage like of blunderbuss in general. It wasn't counterable at all. Thus came the nerf to Blunderbuss, and now with Viking shots it does deal critical, but only a few times with damage spread out, so it doesn't deal much damage in general.

Huh? As far as I was aware, the only difference between Blunderbuss then and Blunderbuss now is before it was 40, 0, 40, 0, 40 and now it's 50, 0, 50, 0, 50. How was it having more critical hits back then?

There was a patch note I believe leading to its nerf introduced after its introduction and one introduced when it became available in BP.

The changes to Blunderbuss were increased pellet spread, altered clip reload speeds and the critical chance buff from 40% to 50%. Nothing was negatively affected with its critical hit rate so I don't see how it was getting more crits now than it did before with Viking's Overdrive.

This was something I experienced practically rather than seeing through theory.

Exactly! I wasn´t using hammer even though I have it upgraded on Mk7-12 and also few weeks ago I got some alternation from contaiener named Adaptive reload ( which isn´t maybe the best alternation for Hammer, but I like it ), so I started using it now and I really love it, I should continue to upgrade it till it will be on max, and then it will be perfect.

I'd say adaptive reload is one of the very best augs right now!

I personally love using duplet and especially blunderbuss (you can get absolutely epic triple kills with it !!).

Enjoy your hammer, but be ready to see it nerfed a bit in the future (probably not anytime soon though I guess), so you're not angry about it. (Most of the turrets are still very effective  after their nerfs, even though... *Cries in thunder*).

This augment is actually pretty good. I use this augment for its fire rate and dps. To me dps and fire rate would matter more .
