Ideas for Game Modes!

Juggernaut is just garbage because of all the new alterations.

 

Plus it was too weak against Freeze in the first place.

Hey guys, check this out:


 


Pair deathmatch:   the same as death match, but players are paired up. 10 pairs in a battle. Pair with the highest score wins.


 


Triplet/triple death match: the same thing, but with three in a team. 6 teams in a match.


 


give me your suggestions.  :)

Ive not heard anyone say this but there should be a mode called the gun game,

 

-It should go from) isida and wasp

                              Freeze and hunter

                              firebird and mammoth (making it harder)

                              smoky and titan

                              richoet and viking

                               railgun and hornet    

 

 

-first one to get railgun and  hornet wins

 

-this game mode should be 5 minutes max

 

-to earn crystals you need a least a kill

 

-The game is split into two  5minute match, 

 

- if a player finishes before the 5 minutes they can spectate 

 

-if a player does not finish in time they dont earn many crystals

 

- if you die you also spectate for second round

 

- loser does not get any crystals

 

 

(This gamemode is what i really want also my friends also helped me  make this idea)

For the pro battles, there is à jug option. But we can not be jug! We should be able to be jug in the pro battles to play with friends, parkour, etc! Why are we not allowed to become jug on pro battles??

because pro JGR battles just don't exist, but they might be added in the future.

Not an idea for a new game mode, but an idea to improve a current one. Would it be possible to add being able to change your hull in XP/BP format? Say if you want to play Wasp and you have Hornet equipped you can join the game and change in game. Currently if there's only one space left in an XP/BP battle you want to join and you need to change your hull, often your place is taken by another player.

I think the time required to change could be used by mults, but good idea tho.

Capture And Score Battle Mode (CAS)

This is an idea for a new battle mode where there will be flags and balls to capture and score.

 

Two flags like in CTF to play like CTF. And Rugby balls to score like in Rugby mode, but only one ball at a time that drops in the middle of the map.

 

Very simple idea. It could replace ASL.

 

The flag posts could be at the corners to make it easier to defend.

 

This is not entierely my idea, someone suggested something and I took it further.

Ideas for Juggernaut

 

Juggernaut is not a popular battle mode, and if you don't believe me you can check this poll someone created in General Discussion.

This battle mode needs changes and improvements. Here I'll list some ideas:

 

New name:

 

Deathmatch With Boss (DM WB)

This way it can easily be included in Missions because DM Missions would also count in this mode.

 


 

Different turret confugurations:

 

Thunder and Twins

You tap and you shoot like Thunder. You hold and you shoot like Twins. When an enemy is close and in your line of fire Thunder could be deactivated.

Thunder is easier to use than Rail and it will be good to counter campers. Twins will be better than Rail and Striker to fight short range tanks.

Suggested names: Tormentor

 

3 Smokies without second turret (Aigaion)

You tap to shoot or hold for continues firing.

Suggested names: Devastator (Aigaion)

 


 

Another idea is to make the Juggernaut stronger, to survive for longer at the beginning, but then make it weaker:

 

Stronger tank based on the rank of the tank

Slower Overdrive reloads

Being able to use supplies

Fewer probabilites to regain health

Being able to use supplies will make it dependant on supplies and this will prevent camping Juggernauts.

                       I can explain why, I'm sure I speak for everyone viewing this.

 

(1) Juggernaut mode is always overtaken and takes way longer than the Average waiting time to get in.

 

(2) While this is not really a problem, there are always players who constantly keep firing at other tankers, when they should be charging for the Juggernaut. Like I said, its not exactly anything needing of adjustment, but on the contrary, its really aggravating and annoying.

 

(3) There are also a lot of lags when wanting to proceed to the next Juggernaut battle.

 

(4) Due to their battles being full, it takes a while to find the appropriate battle since Tanki adjusted Non Pro battles to be picked by the game itself rather than letting people choose. (I say this because it is especially needing attention. A lot Tankers do not want to go into battles with Legends where people who made their account with m3's from the beginning and cannot play without needing alterations or XT skins.)

I had the same idea a while ago, I called it "Chaos Mode" where you were playing CTF and CP, but I guess RGB would work too in the same map, hope this gets added for events or something lol

I think it's because JGR has really bad balance. I mean, either you have an M4 tank and you're good at the game, so you're good at the game mode, or you are an average player who might get to become Juggernaut once in 10 battles and once you do, you get destroyed within 10 seconds. Devs need to make some changes to make the game mode more balanced between pros and newbies, otherwise it will always be the same thing - around 20 total players regularly dominating the game mode, while everyone else is just cannon fodder.

The strength of Juggernaut should be based on a tanks rank and not on a tanks garage.

That doesn't really make things any better. You'll end up with Legends dominating the game mode 100% of the time.

How about when someone kills the juggernaut, the system randomly chooses the next one instead of giving it to the player who destroyed it.

 

We can't keep kidding ourselves here, it's not balanced at all considering who gets to be juggernaut, since striker is the number one candidate that always gets the job done regardless of the situation, followed closely by freeze. On the other hand, something like a ricochet or vulcan has an abysmal chance of destroying it unless it's under heavy fire by several turrets and you manage to steal the kill, but even then it's most likely gonna be striker who'd steal the kill.

 

I know this doesn't solve all of the problems associated with JGR, other suggestions would be needed as well to get this game mode to actually become fun.

                           The chances of that happening are zero to a million. While Striker is the number enemy of Juggernaut, Tanki doesn't show  consideration on battle grounds. Now I won't mention about it not being fair cause you most likely already know about that. In battles, you have to work hard to achieve your goals. If it changed to the way you suggested, Juggernaut mode would be empty all the time. Only way a player is randomly chosen to possess that position is if the Juggernaut self destructs or if the battle just begun. Handing Juggernaut to someone who probably is elsewhere in the battle or maybe inactive after whoever worked hard to destroy, that would make the mode all the more uninteresting and getting much more complaints.

I call it the new version of ASL. The current version can be renamed to Attackers VS Defenders (AVD).

 

While this new version of ASL can replace all the game modes in MM except DM and CP.

OK grumpus.  :P

 

But... only if they cut the number of tanks in DM in HALF.  Unless you get placed in Alex or Kunger or a few others, they just become mosh-pits with 16 tanks.  Dying an spawning every 20 seconds is not my idea of "having fun".
