Ideas for Game Modes!

This Parity mode would still be in MM.  There would be daily MM missions in Parity just like any other mode.  You are right though, it might dilute the pool by another mode which would be bad since it that would make rank brackets even worse as MM reaches further to fill battles.  BUT, but...what if (dreamer, just a little dreamer) the new mode motivated players to play longer, or possibly even get some of the hundreds of thousands of players that quit Tanki because of toxic updates to come back to the game?   They just might you know.

What the game is now is a farce compared to what it once was.  This Parity mode would be more like what it used to be.  It might very welt attract many of the Ex-Tankists.  These new old players would still have normal missions and still be participating in the current six MM modes.  This would boost numbers instead of diluting the pool.

Hey Tanki, these new old players might even start buying the new doo-dads offered in the shop to keep up with our new Neo-Tanki since they would still be completing missions in all modes and then all the free choice battles they wished...they might be converted into buyers if they knew that there would be an actual fun mode to play in on an ongoing basis.  And these new old players would be significantly behind the curve since they haven't been maintaining their garage for a few months to a few years...they'd have lots of catch-up to buy!

I would guess that, over a few months time, Tanki would pick up thousands of new old players.  And with numbers like we have now a few thousand players (possibly buyers) would fill out the MM pool quite a bit.  I don't see that it would be too hard to double player numbers in a few months since we just lost more than half the player pool in the last four months...those Covid drop-outs still want to play Tanki I bet...just not the trash Tanki we have today.

Damn, I talked myself into it.  If I were the honcho at Tanki, this Parity mode would be a priority and would get rolled out by next week ?

I certainly don't speak for anyone else, but I'm not interested in these "special" modes and it won't get me playing longer.

Hate to say it - but I just don't see new modes saving TO.

The only thing that can save TO (long term as opposed to their quick cash-grabs) is fixing the balancing and that includes MatchMaker.  There's a core of players that thrive on ultra-power, but can they sustain TO while a large group of F2P tankers quit in frustration?  I don't believe they can.

It wouldn't be a "special" mode.  Parity would be a normal everyday, all the time mode...not an event mode with pre-specified equipment like this merged topic says.

Daily missions would be spread through seven modes instead of today's six modes.   Parity would go along side TDM, CTF, CP, ASL,TJR, Siege, and now Team Parity

And you are 100% right...there would be some dilution initially because of the added mode,   But over the course of time, not much time I would guess, Tanki could double or even triple current numbers.

Players quit because they didn't like the new updates and compromised Tanki.  This new mode would be more like the Tanki of old so it might attract many of the players that quit because of the kiddie luck factor and loss of strategy.  These new old players would boost MM pool because they would be participating in daily missions just like all of us.  The daily missions would be spread through seven modes instead of the current six.

Would Parity mode save Tanki?  It certainly has a better chance of saving it than the road Tanki is following now since they are obviously not going to fix MM or the disproportionate rank brackets (balance).  They haven't even tried to do anything with MM in the last three years, why would they start now?  This new mode might attract new old players.  If more players came back to the game MM would have a bigger pool and rank brackets would be a bit more balanced.  And this new Parity mode might appeal to Tanki since all the new old players would be motivated to "freshen" their garages and that would have to turn into some new buyers.

I too do not believe the core of ultra-power players can sustain Tanki, but a new Parity mode might attract more players which would give Tanki longer life.  Even one good mode that was reminiscent of the old iteration of Tanki would keep me happy and I bet it would engage thousands of other players.  It would even make Tanki some extra cash.

I refer to modes such as the Hopper Railgun mode. Perhaps something like Tanki volleyball or CP but you can buy mega turrets or protective generators using in match money. At least for me, Tanki isn't particularly addictive, so it's nice to play a match or 2 and then continue on with what I was doing before. This could help create less of a divide between buyers and non-buyers, without stripping buyers of the equipment they paid for, while letting non-buyers have fun too. I know this might detract from Tanki's economy, so maybe lower the funds and XP earned in these matches (of course, if there are no crystals to be made, nobody will play it). The modes I suggest are only examples I can think of from the top of my head for no real reason.

Your idea is interesting but it has ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do with my idea of a Parity mode.  I have no idea why this was merged.

Kind of like last team standing. There are three teams. If a person dies, he joins the team that kills him. the team that takes all players win. Not sure how to earn crystals. Earn like death match? The team with most people gets more?

This Mode might satisfy veteran tankers.

GAME MODE ; SKILLS-KILLS

This mode is in deathmatch. All players are given a random hull and turret of same modification and upgrade level.(One match the game maybe of railgun and hornet and at same time another match maybe of hammer and viking) . Drones are disabled. Supplies are disabled.  Overdrive recharges rapidly and  damage is very high that a single shot from turret which shoot projectiles kills enemy. Battle fund grows rapidly. This mode might seem a little similar to hovering railgun mode. This mode improves skills of drugged tankers(if they want to) and provides a satisfaction to veteran tankers.

We should have more Hovering Railgun events—maybe lower the gold-drop rate, but still hold these events.

Perhaps turn Hovering Railgun into a game mode. Where everyone is equal, and supplies don't really matter much coz everyone is 1-shot.

This mode was interesting and a lot of fun, I haven't play with it enough to enjoy..

But really, this mode isn't the Tanki what is it, its better to be another game, Mouse control + hovering hull with OHKO.

But about your Idea its a good idea, but mostly event days there are a special map that have a lot of fun

and about the balance, Tanki hasn't ever been balanced from its start, but the gap in 2012 definitely less than now

btw, even this mode wasn't that balanced, the Repair Kit . DA . SB affect a lot,  maybe 40% of kills in this map depend on druggers

Since players can buy mk8 at WO1 rank that'd be unfair to play vs those people like I'd suggest to make juggernaut mode can be played by people who have the same level of turrets like when you enter a battle and you have mk4 all your opponents and teams will have mk4 as well you won't be facing mk8 so yeah that'd be fair for people cuz I'm tired of facing mk8's when I'm mk4 only specially when they're juggernaut they'd kill me with 2 shots of it's railgun

You can't buy Mk7 at WO1! F2P can buy Mk3, and Mk4 for buyer max, which they can upgrade to Mk4-10, but the system will still give them a Juggernaut with MK4 spec for the Team Juggernaut battle mode.

The Mk7 is a equipment from the Mk conversion update (earlier this year), and if they are as successful as you said they will rank pretty quickly with the current x4 experience boost. I got it and I can tell you i am already at colonel (without playing much). So you should not meet these special case for long. When facing them make sure you have double armor and flank them or attack from behind.

Ive got an Idea for a new MM gamemode, allow me to explain.

So, this idea was inspired by the coin runners mode in the Mario Kart games. Basically, two teams will have to accumulate as many, lets just say coins for now. they will be scattered around the Battlefield in a limited quantity. Players can steal coins by destroying enemy tanks with them, in turn, causing the defeated player to lose some coins. This allows for all new types of strategy and gameplay. The objective of the mode is to have your team end up with the most coins by the battle's end. The team with the most wins!

I hope you consider this idea

What do you mean "random equipment is given"? Does everyone have different equipment? Or it's a random combo chosen for every game and every player has that combo?

The idea sounds somewhat fun, but keep in mind that the results of that Hopper event were not actually that good for devs. They weren't entirely happy with how it turned out, so I wouldn't count on this being implemented.

yeah , after this topic , our target is to get a big lake in middle of map and jump into it XD

serously its a good idea , i placed in forum about this underwater mode , where even bullet speed is reduced , now fire bird will trow smoke XD

LOL flying hulls not good enough for you. now you want submarines in a tank battle.

The mind boggles at some of the ideas i see.

not every player has that combo , they are different but some can be same though , i think you can understand bro

But, overall that would basically the the same as current battles, except you don't get to pick what you play with. Players would just quit if they don't get the combo they want at the start of the game.

Would you please tell us why the devs weren't happy with it? I loved that mode very much (caught about 28 golds in two days). I shall assume that most players liked that event. What was not achieved that the devs were hoping for?

I loved that mode too, but I have no further details. I assume it wasn't effective enough as a marketing strategy, since it was basically a free trial of Hopper.

I only said that I "assume" so. But either way, in the end the game is still a business and it needs to make the right moves that help it generate enough revenue to cover all costs.

Assume...TOMATO TAMATO same thing. I'm all for TO making cash to run the game but, gotta have balance.

Balance is what is so badly needed in battles.
