Ideas for Game Modes!

Have a brilliant idea for a new game mode? Post it here!

 

Though the developers aren't currently accepting game mode ideas, as they have plenty of their own, feel free to share yours! The more details you have, the better. Images? Sketches? Comparisons? Share it all!

 

 

 

3 teams red,blue,and a new color. It would be very interesting and i think everyone will love it. I know someone has already posted something about this, i just thought i would post it again because i LOVE this idea and REALLY want this to happen. This isnt exactly what this person said. I modified it.

Hello tankers!

I have one really cool idea,its about Tanki Boss..

It would be big tank with turrets taht shoots around and kills tankers.

It would look something like this or whatever.. i dont know..

Now..there will be huge map with alot of hideouts..

After tankers kill him reward is 1-5k crystals..everything depends on how fast they kill it :D

I think that would be good way to earn crystals  and it would be fun.

This is a whole different game man. The main objective is to destory other players, not objects. Name me one object we CAN destroy by shooting other than tanks? None.

 

Developers have designed the gameplay that way ;)

 

Besides, we've got oh-so-mysterious @Godmode_ON

it really doesnt sound like a bad idea i dont understand why it was declined. You simply create a boss that has about 100 X our armor (2k armor) and we destoryit for crystals - maybe not 1k each but a pot of 5k crystals dvded by how much damage u did good idea for pro battles i like it

This is a whole different game man. The main objective is to destory other players, not objects. Name me one object we CAN destroy by shooting other than tanks? None.

A member of staff can be given the role of being the "Boss" so that it is not a random object. They would have a tank which is similar to the strength of Godmode_ON, or maybe just a paint like him. But of course we DO already have Godmode_ON.

Lol no, that'd be over-powered and really unfair to be honest. Main reason why we've got only one Godmode_ON. ;)

thx for say my idea great reason i didnt say 4 teams cuz maps not so big for 4 teams thats why i said 3 teams mabey in furture they make bigger maps then why not 4 teams

What if a few times a year (like Tanki's anniversary etc.) there could be a Tanki War. In previous advertisements on the home page or on the chat (like the reminders that show up in yellow) players would be notified during what time frame they would be able to log onto Tanki and join the War. This time period could be about half an hour, give or take and during a time where the most amount of people would have time to be at a computer like later in the day after work/school. After this time frame is up the War will start for the people who had joined the game and at this point nobody else can join. Maybe to ensure everyone has an opportunity there could be multiples Wars that go on throughout the day that people could join. The game itself would be a last man standing sort of game play. The War would be played out on a map that even Donald Trump would call HUUUUGE. Map developers and makers for the game could ensure that the map doesn't favor any one turret over another, so not sparse of cover to allow shafts and rails to get easy kills, but not cramped either so freeze or firebird can wreak havoc. The length of the game could be how long it takes until one man is left, however as this could take a while when the numbers start to dwindle and the players are far apart the map could start to close in on itself. Any remaining players during this time would get an alert on their screen if they are in an area that is to be destroyed giving them time to head towards the center. As for power ups, they wouldn't be scattered around the map but rather every player would get 5 to 10 of each power up in their inventory (this would not include what they already have in inventory) and once their power ups are used they will have no more to use. I also think every player should be allowed a self destruct within the first 10 mins, so that if they flip over right away they don't need to quit and are allowed to continue. As for number of lives each tank has I'm not sure if 1 is too little, but then if anymore are given it could take longer so I would leave that part to you. I think if Tanki War's only went on once a year and everyone got hype for it, it would be a huge success and a lot of fun. Of course it would depend on where the advertisements for this event were put but if people are notified in advance I think everyone would want to give it a try.

read some suggestions about last man standing and yea campers would win, so instead it would be how many people you kill, if you camp and then end up being the last tank you won't win cause you'll only have like 1 kill, so those who go out and actually participate in the war would have a chance to win  :)

The thread serves no purpose if the developers don't listen, no?

Developers are not planning to add new game modes at the moment. And you may or may not have noticed, but in January the experimental ASL mode was already in the game, so what makes you think that developers don't listen?

 Another Godmode_ON? It would not be too unfair because Godmode_ON can be killed, and it would have lower HP at lower ranks. But, it will not be accepted so I don't know why I am still arguing, I guess I like the idea.

Hi,

 

A suggestion.

 

How about adding some additional game play objects ? 
Like for defense, provide an option to buy and use Sandbags,
It could be used In existing maps to let us alter the maps a little bit.

To block a route or to funnel an exit or to create a temporary fortification or a simple temporary cover.
 

Say, it could be planted like Mines but un-penetrable by both sides until dealt 200 damage by opponent. 
So it can be destroyed but not quickly and cool down has to a little quicker and costly like 200 crys. 

 

This can induce a lot of gameplay styles too. 
 

IF i have not thought it thoroughly please do mention.

ok I like keep away you have to hold the flag form other players on big maps 3 on small maps 2 for each 2 seconds you get 1 point!

I was thinking a multiple team control point.

 

For example, In Kungur, there are 5 points. Each Team Takes Control of one point. When you lose your point to another team, you join them. Eventually, One team will have control of all the points. The battle fund will be split accordingly. The original members of the winning team gets the largest fund, followed by the second last, and so on. If one team cannot take control of all the points within the amount of time, the fund will be split by battle points like in the regular CP or CTF mode

Hello, I had 2 ideas fro Game Modes in tanki online (or tanki X) 

 

1: One team parkour battles, a parkour battle were there is only one team and nobody can hurt anyone, this is extremely usefull for the people join parkour battles and kill everyone.

 

2: hunger games (im not really expecting this one!): all players spawn in at the same time and when you die you can "spectate" over other players or leave the battle. the last player standing (once you die you dont re-spawn) is first,second person standing is second place etc.

 

Tell me what you think!

whatabout if people camp? they would only kill the last standing person and would win

As first sorry for my bad english. ^^

 

How about this proposal..

 

Not anymore to conquer countless flags, but only one.

 

The one flag would stand in the middle of the battle and your team have to quickly bring them to their own base and long protect until the time is over. And the enemy team must then try to steal and bring it to the own base and so on.

 

Similar to CP, you have to conquer and protect, so that the enemy did not conquer the Control Points.

 

And if someone where jumping off because he thinks he must to sabotage the battle. The flag lands automatically back in the base which is in the middle of the battle.

 

The crystal distribution would look like this:

 

The team that has protected the flag longest, accordingly gets more crystals.

 

Right below were two boxes where the time stands which team has protected the flag longest.

 

Example:

20 minutes have been set.

Red: 6:18 [20 minutes] Blue 10:30

 

A test run would be worth it. :)
