Ideas for Supplies and Drones!

The changes made no sense.  The drones were quite different and had a diff purpose.

Now they basically do the same thing.  Lay a lot of mines.  Dumb.

They just had a reduction and addition in number of mines, not much further change, they still do what they did earlier.

in my opinion, you can use the Hopper OD to jump over them or use Mammoth OD to walk over those with 0 damage.

Better yet, snipe the guy who is planting the mines or find ways to destroy him. It is much more efficient ?

I like the approach that they took for Shaft's gameplay and think they should also take it for Saboteur in a way. Let it place subsequent rings of mines quicker but the number of rings in total is harshly limited, for starters, 2 rings at maximum. 

A Saboteur user can partially shut down an area quickly but can do nothing further than that. If they want to shut down another area, they will have to lose their mines in the first area. I have three problems with my suggestion though:

 

 

1. Saboteur is a defense drone so pushing it towards more offensive gameplay doesn't seem logical. 

 

2. This would make Saboteur able to be used offensively with little drawback besides a constant high outflow of mines from the player's inventory. It would solidify that it is better than Miner. 

 

3. Can pose as a constant problem if there are multiple users of this new Saboteur in a team. Not only can they block off entrances to bases or flags, they can easily shut down routes leading to those objectives, and even outside of the enemy's base during a blowout.

The main problem is that not too many people use Hopper or Mammoth nowadays, so changing hulls so just for the sake of killing the miner sounds a bit annoying to me. Another problem is that the miner can do the same thing over and over again even after being killed.

What about a nerf to mines themselves, they could be destroyed by wasps bomb or even a shot to the ground by a high impact turret (long range turrets + thunder, striker).

I feel like mines are okay when they are being placed normally (without the use of a drone)

Honestly a very strange nerf, yes this is an annoying drone, but straight line of mines? Can't be more than a joke.

BTW, I see the correct nerf for Saboteur is..   Wait me finish my topic, and you can see it after being approved.

I would like to suggest that crisis consumes 2 armors, 2 Boosted damages, and 2 speeds per switch. The crisis drone should also not be able to consume additional repairs and mines because it does not make sense at all. 

The reason why I suggested this is because I feel like having the crisis drone to consume 3 of everything now is just overkill for what we have now. What I mean is that since the drone no longer works when getting a drop box I believe the consumption rate should be lowered a bit to 2 supplies per switch and not have it consume repairs and mines already stated above.

This drone brings a new status effect to the game which is called Acid!

 

 

How does acid works:

Tanks who has this status effect on them are unable to get healed by any Turrets, Overdrives or Repair kit. (You can't use Repair kit during this status effect. There is no way to heal yourself when you have this status effect applied on you.)

It also breaks hull augments, meaning If they have immunity against burning, and they get Acid status effect applied on them, They are no longer immune to the burning status effect while the Acid status effect is on them!

When the Acid status effect is gone from the Tank they get a so called Antidote which gives them immunity against the Acid status effect, preventing them from being under Acid non-stop. After the Antidote is over you can apply the Acid on them again.

This drone is Passive (no cooldown), so whenever enemies come in the range of the drone They get the Acid status effect. (when enemies are just spawning you will give them Acid after the spawning immunity is over!)

Additionally, like all Drones, Hazard provides a passive bonus to the strength of Boosted Armor and Boosted Damage.

Downside: If the drone gives someone Acid but you didn't see them or they managed to survive, and they get antidote after the status effect is over, they can kill you with ease since the drone cannot give Acid until the Antidote is active on the tank. Basically your Drone will be like Brutus when you can't apply Acid to the enemy.

Advantage: Provides all time complete Immunity against Acid status effect (People with the same drone can't apply Acid to each other.)

 

My suggestions for the Parameters of the drone:

Range (m): 20 - 40

Duration of Acid (s): 5 - 10 

Duration of Antidote (s): 20

Boosted Armor supply's effect strength (%): 50 - 100

Boosted Damage supply's effect increase (%): 50 - 100

 

NOTE: This drone idea was made because of my idea for an augment to Tesla which gives you the ability to heal! If you are interested please check in the Ideas and Suggestions for Augments.

I believe it's because supplies are not that rare now compared to its price and rarity in 2014. People buy thousands of supplies at sales everytime, you can get load of supplies for many sources. So it only sounds balanced when your 3 supplies gets consumed to use a powerful drone. For other drones which aren't much effective, 2 supplies seems feasible.

crisis is by far the strongest drone in the game and gives enough compensation for 3 supplies used, other drones like booster which have been nerfed to the ground still consume 3 supplies but are not nearly as good as they used to be. Having high k/d and capturing flags quickly must come at cost of using more supplies, if only crisis gets this buff then it will break the balance of the game even more.

From the second you hear - Maxed Armor , Maxed Damage , Max Speed per switch, you know how desperately they try to make it luxurious as hard as possible.  It's for buyers. And the average of money you pay to get it seems way higher than the supply consumption.

As a Crisis user, I can tell you that the crystal you get from normal gameplay is not enough to support your use of supplies.

No, but I did. With premium, you barely able to keep up with the usage of drugs. You won't have any spare cash left to buy or upgrade anything.

Without premium, each time you play MM, you are losing money.

I see, well, the only thing to do in this case is to play with some other drone while keeping crisis for certain times or using it occasionally.

Most likely like in the past I was gathering my supplies without using till a lucky day I allow myself to use supplies indefinitely for some battles
